This place came highly recommended by my friend. My boyfriend and I scheduled the 40 minute introductory consultation and met with Lydia. She offered us refreshments, showed us several fabrics and educated us on pricing and availability. We considered the options shown and scheduled an appointment a week or so later to place an order. Lydia gave us good customer service, but she was not available the morning we were scheduled and we were assigned Burgan. Burgan was very professional and a big help in selecting the finishes and fitting. We enjoyed working with Burgan, and placed the order. We have ordered several custom suits from different companies. We really appreciate the vast selection of high quality fabrics and professionalism of the staff at Enzo. They have custom suits available as low as about $600 but on average the suits run about $1,200 and up. The suits are well worth the splurge. The aesthetic of the location is sleek and modern. The experience feels elevated and is what you want when you're spending over a thousand dollars for a suit. Note to management it would be appreciated if clients are consistently offered water or a beverage during every visit. I highly recommend this location. Lydia is my Tailor and she it's very good at what she does. I also like the personal of details where she remembers who you are very social. it makes us more of a fun experience for going to the Tailor just to get fitted. It's almost like going to a clandestine office. The storefront it's very clean and they have clothing on display along with a decanter full of scotch. Gives off very cool vibes. We made our appointment here HIGHLY recommended by an Italian coworker of mine. The Italian part is important because this store imports Italian wool for their signature blend suits. When you go as a referral, you get $100 off your suit and the referring individuals does off his next suit too! Making the appointment online was easy and actually their platform was very nice, they have a customization tool to help visualize options and a scheduler with pictures and names of their stylists. We chose to work with Finbar. They have strict 15 minute grace period and unfortunately this location is a bit tough to locate and find parking for. Fortunately, I called the office ( which seems to be for all locations not just this one ) and they talked me through finding the front door and the pin to get inside. It's possible that I missed this information in an email after making my appointment but if it weren't for the time that I called, I'm not sure that I would've made it in time because I did not know that there was a pin required. We did end up making it at the nick of time. Upon walking in- on the 9th floor of a very modern building overlooking a square, The suite itself is amazing. Very luxurious and masculine!!! The smart screens, views, and color combinations of the decor were very upscale. Very personalized and one on one experience which GREATLY differs from one at men's wearhouse or brooks brothers. This is another echelon above anything I've experienced for men's styling. I do wish that they were a bit more welcoming or have considered the initial experience for new customers, being offered a water or a coffee would go a long way while beginning the journey of a tux or suit creation! We met with Finbar, our stylist, who was extremely professional and well dressed. It's clear they value their company's reputation and staff appearance! A tuxedo like we were looking for seemed to range in price range from a little under $1000 to much over that. Finbar was very honest and gave us great insight into what is appropriate for our wedding and style, and ultimately that's exactly what we needed....someone to provide us good guidance! It's hard to beat a custom suit at this price. I ordered a three piece wool suit for a little under $800, and it fit like a glove. This was my third custom suit, and by far, it had the best fit. I only needed to extend trouser length at the first fitting. The location is accessed via a lobby from K Street. It was hard to find at first. You'll need to go up the elevators to the top. During my selection and measurements, I worked with Megan to review the myriad fabrics. Choosing the fabric is the most difficult part, since you have the limited ability to evaluate them online. I ended up choosing the least expensive gray wool, which looked and felt fantastic. Afterwards, Megan guided me through all the options, which were identical to the website. I highly recommend you research your preferences up front by building a suit on the website. My suit arrived about three weeks later, and I was so impressed with the quality. Do not let the low price deceive you. If the most affordable suit is this good, I can only imagine how amazing the more expensive fabrics are. I had an impossible time finding a suit that would fit me. I would either find something that fit length wise but would be too tight or narrow in the shoulder's or would fit shoulders and chest but be too loose or long on me (I'm 5'6 and workout a lot so have weird dimensions). But after paying a couple thousand for slim fit suits that I would then pay hundreds for tailoring I decided to give it a try. I had been hesitant to pay more for a custom suit but after my first suit came back wonderfully courtesy of Brett Howard I had a second (slightly more expensive with better material) made (along with another custom shirt) FYI my typical store measurements are: shirt 15.5-16 neck and 32/33 length but these barely fit since my chest too big and shoulders too narrow. 9/2/23 - made a consult appointment and was helped by Meagan. I never had to wear a suit for work before and she was really helpful in explaining what they offered and asked me if I had any questions. I was looking for a simple, standard suit and the way she explained the process, it seemed straight forward so I went ahead and booked a fitting appointment. 9/12/23 - had my fitting appointment with Meagan and again she was really helpful. She went step by step and explained the process and made thoughtful suggestions based off of what I was looking for (a standard but well made suit for work) and what would fit in my budget. She didn't push me into getting any fancy upgrades or extra things that would've cost me more -- which I really appreciated. She got what I wanted in terms of fabric and style and then proceeded to take measurements before we tried on a few standard jackets, pants and shirts so she could narrow down my fit. This process took about 1 hour. UPDATE: 10/10/23: Got an email that my suit was ready and made an appointment to try on today. Experience was seamless, and the suit fit perfectly. Burgan is my tailor for life. Fantastic service. Burgan. Knows. His. Stuff. He's a professional through and through. Not to mention a nice guy. I've never had a better fitting suit - ever. I've been wearing suits every day for work for over 20 years and I've never looked so good or felt so comfortable. As far as quality of materials - my suits are great. Fabrics are high quality and durable. You can customize six ways to Sunday to get exactly what you want. I've bought four suits so far and I've been very happy with them. With shirts however: I recommend going with the higher quality, more expensive fabrics. The lower-priced entry-level shirts are too thin, wrinkle way too easily and the collars are too thin/weak for my tastes. The shirts fit perfect, however - kudos again to Burgan. Going forward we are selecting higher quality (and more expensive) materials for the shirts. The sky is the limit with quality at Enzo. So I'm giving Enzo in DC five stars. I would've given Enzo four stars due to the lower-priced/quality entry level shirts but Burgan really brings it over the top with his expertise and professionalism. My husband (then fiancé) got his suit (Jacket, vest, trousers, and shirt) from Enzo for our August 3rd wedding. By default, we ended up working with everyone at the DC store. We began the process with Jared, who was great, but by the time the suit arrived Jared was gone. Jared handled the consultation and initial fitting. Our first "try on" was with Burgan who honestly seemed like he didn't want to be bothered. The suit was way too big and he told us it was fine. I didn't like that. We requested alterations and had the second fitting with Romeo! What a HUGE difference! Romeo was great! Professional and personal. He had suggestions for which way to go in terms of the accessories. We even discussed sights and attractions for our honeymoon destination. A few weeks before the wedding we realized the trousers needed to be slightly lengthened and tapered. I'm sad to say they don't deserve your business. I had a very poor experience when my custom suit came in for final tailoring. The end result of Enzo Custom's tailoring of their own custom suit was pants with legs of different lengths, significant buckling and waviness in the side seams of the pants, and a calf and ankle which was much wider than desired. When these issues were pointed out in the show room, the response was dismissive and it felt like they just wanted me to leave. When you pay for a custom suit you expect more dedication to fit and more staff willingness to get things right. While the initial fit of the suit was really good, the tailoring should have made it great. Instead, it made it worse and Enzo staff in the showroom were really dismissive. I've had to take the pants to a third party tailor to get them fixed, and am now paying an additional $100 for that on top of what I paid Enzo Custom. When you buy a custom suit , and pay for it, you should expect better. Go elsewhere. Their tailoring is a nightmare. read more

Experience was less than satisfactory. Initial visit (Sebastian)- great experience, he walked through everything with us. Try on visit (Sebastian)- no issue with the visit. Wedding- someone noticed that the button on the tux jacket didn't align with the slit which caused a tugging issue with the jacket. Follow-up appointment (supposed to be with Burgan but he didn't come out so we ended up meeting Megan)- no issue here. Megan took notes and pictures and told me that we'll get an email when it would be ready. Never got an email so I had to send a follow up e-mail to see if it was ready to be picked up. Follow up appointment 2 (Burgan)- issue still wasn't fixed. Burgan was very disrespectful person as he would argue with us over the alignment and how it looked. He eventually taken the jacket back and made notes. When we asked for a new receipt or ticket he snap back at us on why do we need one and we just ended up taking a picture like we did on the first follow-up appointment (which we were fine with). Honestly, why you all don't hand back a ticket of some sort is kind of mind boggling. When you take your clothes to a dry cleaner or alteration place they always hand you back a ticket or at least the ones I have been to. Follow up appointment 3 (Sebastian)- issues was resolved. In all honesty, the 2nd follow up appointment with Burgan was very unpleasant as he was extremely rude and was shocked at how he treated us. This is a long overdue review.... Bottom line: If you want to feel and look like a boss, go Enzo's for your suits. I stumbled upon Enzo's from a neighbor's recommendation in 2021. Before going to Enzo's, I tried the "savings" route and went to Macys. I bought 3 CK suits. I got them tailored twice and the fit was still not right. After experiencing that headache, I knew it was time to step it up. I made an appointment at Enzo's in January of 2022 for my first custom fit suit for work. The process was incredibly smooth and accommodating. Enzo's puts your best interest first, while keeping you on track with style recommendations. The inside of the store is stunning with a complimentary drink for your appointment. I was set up with Brett, who was exceptionally knowledgeable in mens wear/suiting. I received my suit after 5 weeks. I went back in for some last minute adjustments and boom... finally a suit made for me. I've been wearing my Enzo suit for the last 7 months and I still love it. Nothing can compare to it. I receive at least one compliment every time I wear it. So do yourself a favor and go to Enzo's. It completely eliminates the frustrations of buying suite at retail stores. Jared & the Enzo crew are the best! I wear a suit every day for work and finally felt it was time to buy custom. It ended up being less expensive and WAY BETTER quality than anything Brooks brothers ever sold. It's the little things on the suit that matter. For example there's an extra piece of fabric in the pants cuff to help it hang and prevent fraying. The little stitch of grip in the waistband of the pants. Obviously you can customize everything (for example my pants I added a nickname of mine in the hem). I find myself getting crazier and crazier details each time I stop in to see my man Jared. I am slowly buying a suit a quarter and I cannot wait to buy more because I'm pissed every time I put on a non-custom suit. You really can tell in the pectoral and shoulder areas how well they fit. I knew I wanted an amazing fitting tux for my upcoming wedding, so I search several of the big name brands. Of course none of them fit perfectly. So I started looking for a custom tux that wasn't outrageously expensive. I stumbled on Enzo and the rest is history. I worked with Jared to curate the absolute perfect tux for my wedding. I initially only went in for a consultation but I found myself staying for a fitting. The process was super simple. I was impressed how every aspect of the suit was fully custom- fabric, cut, lining, functional cuffs, etc. If you want it done- they can do it. I showed Jared a few examples of tuxedos I liked and he worked to replicate and fully exceed my expectations. I ended purchasing the package that came with a shirt and a bow tie. I got my first Enzo custom suits in 2015. They were the best suits I have ever purchased. Since then, I tried experimenting with other suit stores and 'daily deal' suit deals out there. Big mistake. The reason that Enzo suits are so good is because they use quality materials, their delivery time on the suits are fast, initial alterations if the suit doesn't fit perfectly are free and their customer service is unsurpassed. I recently bought a few more suits with Burgan assisting me and his knowledge and insight into styles, cuts and what will look best was simply incredible. He takes the time to know the type of style you're going for and offers up the options available along with his recommendations on what will look the best. I recently got 2 suits, one for $495 (starting price) and other for $749. The next time around, I'll probably go with the $749 price point again because you can immediately tell the increase in quality in the more expensive suit. I've bought suits from eBay, big department stores, menswear stores and everything in between and at a price point of $749 (you could go with the $495 option), it's simply an incredible deal. The first batch of suits lasted me well over 3.5 years, and that was me wearing them multiple times per week. The turnaround time is about 3 weeks from order to delivery. I'm 6'7" and 200-205 lbs on a great day, so shopping off the rack for anything is usually impossible. I contacted Enzo by emailing their New York headquarters thanks to a trusted recommendation. Their office was quick to return my email, and had confirmed a proper appointment for two weeks later, which is usually the case. Bergen was professional and very friendly from the moment we met. He helped to foster open communication and trust, which meant a lot since it was my first time experiencing and learning about an investment such as this. He listened to my concerns, answered my questions, asked me for feedback, and made keen suggestions without being assertive (why can't more salespeople be like this). Together, we narrowed down the color and type of fabric, went over the accessories and other fine details, and then selected two colors of cotton for shirts. One thing that delighted me was how competitively priced their entry-level wools were for the quality; it really does make you reconsider the economics of overall cost in a similarly priced ready-to-wear suit from Men's Warehouse or Joseph Bank when you can have a custom made one made for you for around the same cost to start; the ROI of such a product. Another was the option to upgrade the jacket canvasing from half to full, which was well worth the additional cost. If you've never owned a suit with full horsehair canvassing before, Google "full canvas vs fused, suit" to learn more. This was my first full-canvas jacket, and the feeling of wearing one, when compared to a fused or even half-canvases jacket, is no contest. It feels more life-like in how it contours and lays across your upper torso. It lacks that stiffness, and you can feel it and see it in the mirror, which translates into a confidant natural look. About a month after the initial fitting, Enzo contacted me to remind me that my clothes were ready to pick up. The fit on everything was flawless the first time I tried them on, no alterations necessary. Easily, the best fitting and most handsome suit that I have ever owned. Could not have been happier. "How do you like your scotch?" Burgan asked, "Neat" I replied. Yes it was 12pm but hey it's a saturday and I like driving with a tiny bit of pep. I've had experience with other bespoke/m2m shops but this was my first time here. We started with introductions and spoke briefly about my experience and expectation. We concluded that I knew what I was looking for and that we both actually had the same taste in fabrics. He took my initial measurements and asked me to try on 2 pants and 2 jackets. He measured some more and asked a few questions during. I was impressed. He brought up 2 pain points that I had from few of my past experiences -- shoulders and bicep. Burgan was quite scrupulous with his measurements which I absolutely loved -- we're talking OCD here. Or perhaps very passionate. I told him of my budget - and that I was looking to get one pretty nice suit and maybe 2 blazers. We then took a look at some holland & Sherry, Ariston and Loro Pianas swatch books. I ended falling head over heels for a LP. It ended up being the entire budget and a bit over but I didn't give a shit.. So I ended up with a pretty bad ass suit. To be honest the fabrics that were under a thousand dollars didn't feel that great -- I'd recommend using those for everyday suits you'd wear to an interview or office. I have had my fair share of custom suits and shirts made from renowned shops like Burdi, Hamilton, Tom James, Reed Wall, and others. While each of these tailors are amazing in their own right, none can claim the full gamut of excellent experience, fabric selection, customization, and service. My man at Enzo, Burgan Hobbes, is my trusted advisor when it comes time for a new suit, shirt, tux, or whatever. He knows my style and is great at helping me select the right fabric and embellishments... and just as important, great at saving me from a poor choice in look whenever I foolishly think I'll look good in a selection. Regarding service, no one ever bats a thousand, so in the rare times where there is a miss, Enzo over rotates to make everything better. I worked with Romeo for my wedding tuxedo, and the process couldn't have gone better. In total there were four visits - initial consultation, fitting, try-on/fine-tuning, and pick up of the final product. I wanted a classic black tie tuxedo for my wedding with a modern silhouette, and Romeo delivered. During the first consultation, we went through the types of materials, price ranges, and general look. Next, we did a full tailoring session that lasted a little over an hour. Romeo was detailed and attentive to what I had in mind and provided advice on what he thought would look best. A few weeks later, the tuxedo arrived back at the studio and I returned for a secondary fitting in which Romeo could make minor alterations, if necessary. I had lost a little weight in the intervening period, so he adjusted the pant leg opening for a slimmer look and took in the jacket. The final product was simply perfect. Once you go custom you never go back! I bought my first custom suits here last year and loved the experience. I also just recently purchased two more suits I'll be picking up next week. This place is incredible. I had the pleasure of working with Jared, who is a tremendous guy and a true craftsman. I've actually done a custom suit or two before, but the experience at Enzo was vastly superior to the others. First, the scheduling system is great, and can all be done online. You can pick a time slot and a day and they'll most likely find a way to accommodate you. On the day of your consultation, they really know how to make you feel comfortable and provide really great guidance on fit and details that you might not otherwise think about. The fabric selection is extensive, and the varying levels of customization is impressive. There's absolutely no pressure and they do not even attempt to upsell you on anything. This is what surprised me the most. And honestly, the price is no where near as bad as you think it would be. I paid marginally more for a fully custom suit, custom shirt, and tie than I would have for an off the shelf package with alterations. I went to Enzo Custom on recommendations from a few of my co-workers for my upcoming wedding as I wanted something truly custom. I had a great experience from when I walked in the door and was offered a bourbon to Jared taking the time to walk me through the many fabrics, options, and provided sage advice on style and detail combinations. PRO - So many options to choose from to make a suit your own. CON - So many options to choose from (kidding). Once the suit came back in record time, it fit perfectly. This my first foray into the world of custom suit shopping! I'm never going back to the old way! First, Jared, Monica, and the rest of the staff are great and treat you right. As I said, it was my first custom process and they were thorough, thoughtful, patient, and made the process easy. Second, it was a tux for my wedding, so the pressure was on! Jared helped to make the tux awesome! It's great to have a product that feels both classic but also uniquely my own creation. Third, they beat every timeline. From the initial construction to the in-house alterations. It always happened quicker than expected and professionally at a high quality. Fourth, cost. If you've never done a custom suit, you can target your fabric weight and costs to tailor to your needs. They have a broad range great for DC professionals. I would recommend going to the Enzo website to get a feel for this if it's a consideration, but I recommend not being apprehensive because of "custom." Overall, it was a tremendous experience. Upon advice from a good friend, I came to Enzo's for a custom suit. Having a build that is not suitable for an "off the rack" suit, I am familiar with working with tailors in order to not look like a slob. However, I have never worked with anyone as patient, knowledgeable, and kind as Burgan. I'm a bigger guy, and some folks can be less than nice about your size; not Burgan. He made me feel comfortable, relaxed, and we even cracked a few jokes together. Burgan took the time to measure once, then measure twice, in order to get the right fit. His knowledge and lack of judgement made me feel like I was in great hands. Burgan took the time to get to know me, and about my preferred "style." I have style in quotes because I'm not sure I'm what you would call stylish. I'm more of a classic dresser. When it came time to choose fabrics and designs, he offered his advice but left it up to me to decide. The deliverable: the suit Burgan assembled for me is spectacular. The material is high quality and the fit is second to none. While the suit is extremely comfortable, it also fits and looks perfect. And honestly, even if the suit weren't perfect I would be back for no other reason than Burgan is a great guy that is knowledgeable, easy to work with, and makes you feel like royalty when going through the process. Enzo's should give this guy a raise. Seriously. The man embodies what it is to be a gentleman in an age where there are too few. Enough of the love fest for Burgan. Just make an appointment with him and tell me otherwise. I'll be waiting. After all, a business is only as good as the people they have working for it. I have worked with Jared for several pieces including suits, sport coats and shirts. He is fantastic to work with. From fitting to designing new looks his advice is always excellent. I have been extremely pleased with the service and the suits I have had made fit perfectly. They feel great to wear and I always get compliments. It's also great to go in with an idea and have Jared guide you. I told him I wanted a sport jacket to pair with jeans for a casual look. The resulting jacket is one of the most comfortable and versatile jacket's I've ever owned. After proposing to the woman whom I'm now related to by marriage, it was time to start looking for the perfect suit. I sadly sauntered into men's warehouse on a whim to check out the rental inventory. I walked out in 6 minutes. Not my style and certainly not my price for a rental. Then since I try to support my podcast sponsors I attempted the indochino option - Let's just say I still get the emails. Finally, it dawned on me to search Yelp for a custom suit and sure enough I stumbled upon Enzo. Now it wasn't easy finding them since I live in downtown Baltimore. Baltimore just had no good options. I worked with Jared at Enzo from the beginning to the end it was easy. Now, Jared probably thought I needed help the minute I walked thru the door-since I was wearing cut up jeans and a north face fleece. Not ur typical dc power broker needing a new suit. He walked me thru the steps from picking a cut, pattern etc. Asking great questions along the way to nail my style. The follow up fitting was effortless because the measurements were done exactly right. I looked damn good in it! It ended up being exactly what my wife envisioned as she was ripping it off of me on our wedding night. I will be making my next appointment for the second custom suit soon. read more

When I first decided to do a custom suit, one of the first things I worried about was the cost. I was relaying this info to a coworker when he advised me of Enzo Customs, and more importantly, of a man who works there named Burgan. Curious, I asked him about this place and what to anticipate in terms of cost. After a few minutes of back and forth conversation, and a quick showing of what they are capable of creating, I sent an email to get myself an appointment and be seen. The day came and I walked through humid weather & DC crowds with my mother with no more than an idea in my mind and a budget. We entered the showroom as they were opening up; lights flickered on in the back while the front was perfectly illuminated. Magazines showcasing different styles of suits, jackets, & pants were all on display and they all comprised of articles handcrafted by Enzo Customs. We were politely told to help ourselves to some coffee or water - they had a small fridge full of bottled water and a coffee machine to make espresso - and that Burgan will be out soon. As we passed the threshold from "waiting area" to "showroom" it became clear why I was recommended this place. Many tall bookshelves filled to the brim with books adorned the barrier between where I was sitting earlier and where I stood then. As we sat down I explained my dilemma: I'm getting married in just 4 months and I wanted to look the part. The wedding was to take place in Ireland, and it was going to be a chilly fall. Burgan asked me what my budget was and then began pulling books off of his many shelves. Not only was Burgan suggesting to me exactly the kinds of colors and patterns I was originally thinking of, he was flipping directly to the pages that they were on - as if he knew exactly what I wanted before I'd even entered. We departed as a unit, my mother and I, and I came back just a few weeks later to create the suit. As I entered I passed on my coffee, was a touch too jittery as is, and joined Burgan in the back. We quickly began game planning this suit - a herringbone jacket and pants with a tweed vest and red knit tie. My fiancée and I got matching Doctor Marten's to wear for the big day and Burgan suggested doing the inside of the jacket burgundy to match. After picking and choosing the smallest details to make the suit as unique and perfect as possible, we settled on the design and moved onto the measures. I was told "pretend like I'm not asking you to stand like normal, right now" and proceeded to do precisely the opposite. After laughing and shaking out the jitters I stood "normal" and Burgan took some measures. All tallied up, cost on the table it came out to just under $1,200.00. My suit came out to being slightly under budget, all while adding a jacket. I was informed that I would receive the suit in about 4 weeks and could come back to try it on then. 4 weeks passed and I came back to Enzo Customs with my father in tow to try on this suit I'd spent so much time designing. And it fit perfectly. In fact it fit so well, my normal clothes now bother me. The suit Burgan created for me was beyond excellent, and trying to describe how perfect it is can be difficult. The suit not only matched my wife's dress, and fit exactly into the vision of our wedding, but every encounter I had with Burgan was very friendly and fun. It never felt like I was simply there to get a suit, but rather it felt like hanging out with a friend who just so happened to have a keen eye for suit design. The suit Burgan designed for me is like no other I could have imagined. Any suits, going forward, will be acquired from here. And I recommend anyone looking into getting a custom suit make this the first place you stop. You won't need to go anywhere else. read more

After several years of wearing the shirts I got from Enzo, I have really come around. Yes, I had a bad first experience that left a sour taste in my mouth. But the shirts have held up extremely well, a lot better than clothing from other made-to-measure clothing stores using similar business models, and also better than tailors within China/Hong Kong. Now that my shirts are getting a bit worn, looking at my options and my past experiences, I am fully committed to giving Enzo another shot. read more

Fantastic experience all the way around! Five stars! By way of background, I had grown tired of purchasing off the rack suits. I am between standard store sizes and can never get the jacket and pants to fit correctly. Either the pants are way too tight or the jacket is way too big. Even shopping at "nicer" stores like Brooks Brothers I was unable to get the fit just right and I was paying near $1,000 for a poorly fitting garment. There had to be a better way? I found these guys on Yelp and decided to try it out. I am very glad that I did. On the first visit I worked with Burgan and we built a custom grey pinstripe suit. They paid an incredible amount of attention to fit and measurements. When the suit arrived it fit me perfectly! The jacket and pants were both snug but not too tight. I have never had a suit that looked so good and fit so well. I am a huge fan and have since been back to buy a second suit and a sport coat. So long off the rack, I am a real convert to Enzo Custom! My only regret was taking so long to make the first purchase! read more
