Hottest summer ever in L.A. My laptop was overheating like mad rendering it unbearable to use. I ordered replacement fans and I was contemplating open up the laptop and fixing it myself but then I thought twice and decided to get a professional to handle all the screws to get to the fans. Max to the rescue! Kingly Computer is located in a non descript strip mall on La Cienega. Its easy to miss unless you know you are about to meet a handsome friendly young man who will save your ass. He's also almost obsessive when it comes to cleaning your electronics which is how he noticed that mine just needed a really good dusting to work as new again. Since I already had the new fan from the manufacturer I let Max install it regardless. He even came across and repaired another small issue with a broken port. It was clear that Max knew exactly what he was doing and he was incredibly swift doing it. I will trust him with everything computer-related from now on. The hard drive was failing and an IT tech recommended having it "imaged," which would result in an exact duplicate that would not require any software reauthentication. He also recommended Tech Care as the folks to do it. They initially tried doing an automatic imaging, which didn't take, so they attempted to manually image it and were successful. The computer now has a more reliable SSD drive (no moving parts) and it indeed works exactly as it used to (only faster). Eddie informed me that the old drive had maybe one month left before it completely failed. LIFE SAVERS!!!
