I sent two HP Dragon laptops (one for spare parts) to Adam Barscheski for upgrade in late 2016. After Adam received my laptops he provided me with a list of parts that I would need to purchase from him to complete the upgrade, which I did. After nearly 2 years with my laptops, Adam finally stated that he was unable to complete the upgrade and that he would be returning my laptops to me in mid-May of 2018 (see email below) which he did not do. To this date, Adam has not returned my laptops, nor has he provided any update as to the status of my return even after repeated requests to do so via phone, mail, email, and text. At this point, I have given IT Elite Computer Service until the end of August 2018 to return my properly at which point I will file a stolen property report with the local police department as well as any further legal action needed to secure the return of my property. I hope this review helps others avoid the suffering I have endured as a result of doing business with this disreputable company.

UPDATE 08-29-2018
My laptops were returned to me 08-27-2018 after asking for there return via text, phone, email, and USPS correspondence multiple times with no response over a 3 month span of time, and only after having notified Adam Barscheski of pending legal action. However, my laptops (these are 20" inch HP Dragon laptops which weight nearly 25 pounds each) were shipped back to me in a single box with relatively the same width as the laptops, poorly packaged (the laptops were stacked on top of each other) and both laptops were heavily damaged in shipping. I had initially been assured that they would be shipped with care, below is a quote from an email I received regarding how my items might be carefully shipped:
"As far as packing, a thus far successful method i have used for high value, fragile items has been to get some ply wood and build a wooden box on the interior walls of the cardboard shipping box. Then pack with bubble wrap accordingly to keep it from moving around.
- Adam"
This has been a miserable and disappointing experience which ultimately resulted in a complete loss of irreplaceable property.
Response to Comment 09-05-2018
I did file an insurance claim on the package. The postal carrier commented that the contents were poorly packaged and padded as evidenced by the damage most especially to the corners of the box which were completely exposed. Further, the amount of the insured contents was somewhat below the amount 'I' paid for the laptops in 2016. Both laptops and parts exceeded the insured value and I have receipts (which I provided to USPS) to show this. I simply wanted my laptops returned to me in good faith and in one piece, and without having to ask for there return endlessly without any response after multiple attempts to contact IT Elite. As far as the offer with regards to parts, no thank you, I'd prefer not to prolong the agony of working with IT Elite any longer. read more
