Found this place on accident, but I'm so glad that I was able to stop by. The other day I was leaving Mea Culpa, and drove by their mural. My interest was peaked and the next day I found myself walking in. This coffee shop is located inside torch yoga, which originally used to be on Granby. Now their new location is complete with a coffee area to serve people after a sweaty yoga session. I got to meet the Lily, the owner of It Can Be Coffee Co., and she is definitely passionate about what she does. She was very kind and patient answering all the questions my husband had about her upbringing in the coffee community. I ordered the lavender honey latte, and it was incredible. The espresso was dialed in, and the drink was just perfection. While I drank my coffee I got to look around the merch she has off to the side. It's so cute, and I will definitely be back to buy a cap. She also has pastries, that I didn't get during this visit, but will next time. Seating is a little limited, but there are tables outside where you can sit in a group. If you want, you can also take your coffee to go, and stop by handsome biscuit which is just across the street. Please support local, come pay this little shop a visit.

Located in the Ghent area of Norfolk inside the Torch Yoga studio is the quaint little coffee shop. It's run by Lily, who is an amazing person! She gave me the run down on how here journey into coffee came to be, while so made some delicious drinks. I had a dirty chai, the espresso shot was so balanced, and blended well with the chai. While we waited my wife got to walk around the yoga studio, and see what the facility is like. Inside there's a couple bar stools, and a couch. Outside there are two picnic tables that can be used during the warm months. I enjoyed this impromptu visit, and look forward to enjoying this new coffee spot.

Great coffee and spacious area to just hang out. There's a yoga studio attached to it.

I swear, this is one of the most beautiful coffee shops I've ever been in. The ambiance was warm and inviting and I loved the chandeliers and decor. When you walk in, there's a QR code to scan to view the Full Menu, so I was able to look over the food and drink items while I waited in line. Once I knew what I wanted, I looked over all the pastries available on display! Everything looked delicious. Between the Cruffin and the Pistachio Tres Leches Cake, I couldn't choose which was more appetizing. I decided on the Strawberry Vanilla Matcha Latte, since I've been on my matcha kick and it didn't take long for it to be ready. I took my first sip and I was in heaven! My drink tasted perfect!!! I hate that Colattao is so far from me but it was definitely worth the drive! The next time I'm in the area, I will be stopping in and definitely trying one of the pastries!!!

The shop itself is so cute and Instagram-worthy--honestly, every corner is picture-worthy. It has such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. I went on the weekend, and it was definitely busy, but the atmosphere was great. I also really like that they have designated no-laptop hours. With how busy the shop can get, I could see seating becoming almost nonexistent if people were staying for hours working. It was actually really nice to see people sitting around and having conversations instead of everyone being on their laptops. Overall, a cute and cozy coffee shop with great drinks, friendly staff, and a fun atmosphere. Definitely worth stopping by!

This review actually has two great businesses because I visited Klassic Doughnut's food truck too! Ok first things first. Every Wednesday through this Summer Klassic Doughnuts food stand will be available at COVA 8-11 AM. They are in my opinion the best cake doughnuts in our area. They are a major draw for COVA. I purchased a few to go. With COVA I specifically wanted to try their coffee. I was blown away upon arrival to see their outdoor space. It's huge and beautiful. On a weekday at 11 AM without school even out was busy! The counter service was helpful and friendly. I told the staff I wanted a black coffee and was directed to what beans were being offered. I opted for an Ethiopian pour over. The coffee comes in a large and priced competitive. It took a bit with being busy and a pour over, but boy was the wait worth it. Probably the best coffee I've had in any recent memory and I drink a lot of coffee. The space inside is compact, but they offer a side patio that's covered too! COVA is late to offering coffee, maybe 5 years or so. However, they are established with brewing award winning beer. I chatted with a female brewer a minute who was so sweet and invited me back for a glass. They also have a bakery case with offerings that looked good. So I need to return. So exciting to share such a gem in East Beach. Parking may be an issue, but off street neighborhood streets are available.

It operates out of Toast on weekdays and Perro Blanco on weekends. I ended up circling the block for a while trying to find it because I had no idea where it was located. Apparently they mention this on Instagram, but since I don't have Instagram, I only figured it out after the fact. I can't help but wonder how many potential customers end up at Mea Culpa Coffee, which is right behind Toast and much easier to identify as a coffee shop. Once I went inside Toast and asked, the cashier explained that I was already in the right place. Mystery solved. I ordered the iced blueberry lemon zest matcha latte with coconut milk, and it was genuinely delicious. The blueberry and lemon complemented the matcha really well, making for a refreshing drink that wasn't overly sweet. My only hesitation is the price. At $9, it felt a bit steep for a drink that appeared to be about 16 ounces and was filled almost entirely with ice. While I enjoyed it and would order it again, I'd have a hard time justifying the price on a regular basis. Overall, the quality of the drink was excellent, but I think Kobros could make the experience even better by making their location more obvious outside of Instagram and offering a little more value for the price.

This location has a smaller menu, but an experienced staff to recommend a good array of flavors within their drink choices. My significant other and I ordered: The Peaches seasonal latte: The freshness of the fruit shines through without overpowering the coffee. Brown Sugar Cinnamon latte: Every note balances each other out with minimal sweetness and an exaggerated flavor. I can confidently say this is one of the FEW places i've ever gotten coffee. Not the over sugared milky drink with drops of coffee flavor, but COFFEE!

There's tons of space for remote work, community meetings, or just hanging out, and I noticed several groups using the open, airy cafe for coworking and conversation. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. I ordered the Monticello breakfast sandwich (with sausage, egg, cheddar, arugula, and a delicious aioli on an English muffin) and their Brown Sugar No. 05. A creative blend of brown sugar, rosemary, cinnamon, espresso, milk, and a hint of orange bitters. It was unique, refreshing, and seriously addicting! My friend went for the brown sugar latte and a blueberry bagel with cream cheese, which she loved.
