STILL ZERO STARS!! Shaun is correct that I spoke with him, but leaves out some very pertinent details. Several weeks after this incident, still not hearing back from Greg (or anyone) after his promise to speak with his team and get back to me, I called iSupportU to follow up since they had not gotten back to me. At that time, I spoke with Shaun Oshman, who informed me that he was the owner of the company and that Greg Koeka was not an owner--even though Greg had repeatedly told me he was one of the owners weeks ago when I asked to speak with Shaun (since their website says he's the owner) or the owner of the company. When I spoke with Greg weeks earlier, he said as one of the owners he took this situation very seriously and would be taking steps to resolve it. Yet he never got back to me as he said he would after several weeks. When I spoke with Shaun, it was also clear that Greg had not told Shaun about this situation or that he told me he was an owner. The fact that someone would lie about being an owner of the company raised a whole new set of concerns for us. While Shaun did offer to waive the rush service charge if we brought the computer back in, we really did not want to risk dealing with a company like this again after so many mistakes and red flags. Also, from our perspective, waiving the rush fee didn't do much to resolve the situation since if we let them fix it weeks after taking it in the 1st time, it really wouldn't be what I would consider "rush" service." What also become clear in my call with Shaun is that no one was responsible for managing the college student who was working on our laptop to make sure she did it right and on time and that this is their standard operating procedure. As he did in his comments here, Shaun also blamed an internal "communication breakdown" for the issues with Greg not getting back to me and telling me he was an owner. I'd think a 9 person business would be better at internal communication. Shaun's phone call did not clear up our questions or concerns, but only raised many more. In August 2013 I went to iSupportU for help to migrate my email over to Google. I wanted to learn about everything that Google had to offer and make business communications as efficient as possible. I was very happy with the training and support that I received. They are also hosting my Web Site, so I have contact with them at least once a year. It is a great feeling to know that I can call them for support with any of the email functions. Today, my gmail account was hacked at about 10:15am, because I stupidly opened an email attachment thinking it was something that I was waiting to receive from that person. At around 11:20, friends and colleagues started trying to contact me via phone and text. But, the second phone call came from Shaun at iSupportU telling me that my email had been hacked. He was able to quickly get access to my account (through the back door) and stop their access. He then spent 30 minutes with me on the phone walking me through everything that needed to be done for me to re-gain access on all of my devices. And set up the 2 step verification. I can't tell you what a relief it was to actually be called by them to help me through this crappy situation. iSupportU is awesome. The end. But really, I had cracked my iphone 3GS screen some time ago and when I got glass splinters in my thumb for the 3rd time, decided to do something about it. After shopping around online and calling a few other places in the Denver/Boulder area, I settled on iSupportU because their price was by far the lowest. My biggest selling point right there. What happened afterward is what makes this a 5-star rating.. I was able to get my appointment when I wanted. It only took 20 minutes to fix the screen. Everyone was rediculously friendly, willing to chitchat about nothing. They also offered me coffee from their french press and enthusiastically insisted that I could take their coffee cup on a walk while I waited for my phone. And the REAL kicker- something I have never ever had from any other business. Ever. A HAND-WRITTEN PERSONALIZED thank-you note. It came in the mail with a stamp and everything. - Excellent and Quick iPhone 4 repair from iSupportU - My iPhone 4 had a dead dock connector just as it was out of warranty that prevented the iPhone from syncing and charging the phone. With no way to charge it, the phone was quickly becoming a brick. Apple wanted $159 for a refurbished replacement of the same model (with only a 90 day warranty), or I could purchase a new iPhone from AT&T for $$$. I brought my iPhone to iSupportU to be diagnosed and repaired. They were able to diagnose it (failed dock connector), and repair it on the spot for $60. iSupportU had the replacement parts in stock, and finished the repair in less than 1 hour while I waited. iSupportU did a full test of my phone upon bringing it in, and after completing the repair to make sure it was fully functional. I was extremely impressed with their service, speed, and parts on hand. I highly recommend them. They made my day. We had been using another Boulder company for our networking needs but they changed their business model and coud no longer support us. So we were looking for a local business to help us with our new computer system installation. Our previous service company recommended iSupportU. After reading the only (three) reviews on yelp that weren't filtered, we were very relucant to use iSupportU. We even tried to get additional recommendations. But in the end, we met with Shaun and after talking to him about his rotten yelp experience, decided to take a chance. We're really glad that we did. The reviews that yelp considers "filtered" aren't filtered at all. This is a fantastic company with superior service. They have fulfilled every part of their contract with us and all technicians that we have worked with and Christina in Mission Control have been excellent. We have zero complaints. My experience with iSupportU was quick, easy, and successful. My laptop had stopped working and I took it in to be diagnosed and repaired. Stephen helped me at the counter, was really knowledgeable, took time to explain things to me, and ended up fixing the problem on the spot. I've been to other IT service and computer repair shops before and this is the best experience I've had so far. Quick, easy, friendly, and most importantly my problem was solved. Wow! What an amazing group of IT professionals. I had the incredibly unfortunate experience of having my iPhone fall off of my bicycle, hit the road at 40 MPH, bounce 35 feet and land in a...creek! I didn't even find the phone for 30 minutes and by then, it had died for, what I assumed was, eternity. Not so!! I recently switched to Apple after years of IBM/windows and like many people the switch was alot to learn and alot of different \buttons to push, the IsupportU guys where assume that got all my shit switched and reoriented in Apple and got me up and running no problem. After that I had a few minor problems w/battery broken screens and they helped me fix it all including new hard drive and battery replacement when needed. These guys are amazingly competent, efficient and charge extremely fair prices for computer repair and support - bravo! I've used them several times in the past year for iphone repair, website design, laptop repair, and for switching my business over to google. Fixing a broken computer is similar to fixing a car - it's a challenge for the mechanic to know what the problem is until they poke around and do some testing. They were timely with all work I brought in to them. They can also save your old computer from a landfill - bring it here for them to recycle it for you.
