Came to iStyleFix as I was a previous customer from Norman when he attempted to fix my iTouch 2 years ago. Now, the earpiece in my iPhone 4 is very hard to hear out of since I spilled liquid on it, so I figured I'd bring it in since they also had a Yelp deal. After about 15 minutes of waiting, the end result is the same. Honestly, if anything, I think my earpiece is worse. But there's so much mumbo jumbo in the contract you have to sign, I guess I have to deal with it. Quite frankly, I think you should have a general idea if by replacing a certain piece, if it will work or not. I was told in the past that my home button might work, and it didn't... and now here I am again with an empty promise of a possible working earpiece, and still no luck. If you have a cracked screen, give them a shot. Otherwise, just take your $30 and put it towards a new phone... I just "traded-in" my phone to Verizon for $110, and walked out with a new 4S for $65. read more

So about 6 weeks ago I got my wife and my iphone screens for about $140. Which I thought was a great deal. Both phone screens started popping out a week later. My wife got rid of her phone but I used mine for work. So I called last week and told one of the gentleman that I needed my phone fixed because the screen they had installed was defective. He told me it's cool come in and we'll take care of it. (I don't think it's the same person I met at the store) I told him I'm out of town but want to come in. I tried coming in on Tuesday but their store was closed. My screen at this point completely popped out. I got ahold of them today and came in. He looked at it and said this is a drop and it would cost me $100 dollars to fix. I said I didn't drop and it didn't even cost that much to fix it originally and it's a defective screen that you all installed. He responds "supply and demand." He then went on to say he's installed thousands of screens and it was a drop and the screens cracked. (There's no cracked screen) there's a split from where it popped out. He also stated that if he fixed all the complaints he gets for this vary issue he would be out of business. (Here's an idea, do it right the first time) The screen isn't cracked and it's been defective since day one. I asked for his card. "I don't have one" what's the companies license number? "We don't have one" This guy was amazing. I told him I was ready to take them to small claims if they don't take care of this. Again his response, as he's screwing in the screws for my phone. "That's fine. I have a license and insurance" wait.... What? Garbage is all I have to say. Bad customer service and total Criminals. Thanks for stealing $140 from me, I really appreciate it. I would stay away from them. There's other better local companies that'll do a great job. read more

I asked to have my glass screen protector replaced, using a "full adhesive" brand. I was assured that's what I was being sold. It fell off my phone 4 days later, revealing it was not full adhesive. They would not refund my money because I did not return to the store is a reasonable amount of time (I live 3 hours away). This is not a reputable business.. read more

Walked in. They had my broken iphone4s screen fixed within an hour. It looked like my phone was working ok, then i went to my car and started using it an realized the bottom portion of my screen was not working. i took it back in right on the spot, and they worked on it for about 12 more minutes and got it working properly. Went in with my sister to get her iphone with a broken lock button fixed. Immediately greeted and helped. They told us they can fix it but it would cost a lot and that there's a chance that it wouldn't work long. They checked if her phone was able to get fixed at Apple and turns out her serial number is eligible to have it fixed. He printed out the paper and sent us off to Apple. They could've made money off us but instead gave us the truth. Probably the best customer service I've experienced. I would recommend this place to a friend. read more

My beloved iPad mini retina cracked. I guess that happens sometimes when you drop it on a tile floor. I lived with the cracks for about a week, but this was no way to have an iPad. What's the use of a retina display if your viewing screen has a web of lines throughout it? So, I figure I would get my glass replaced, and I thought Riverside area would be the place to do it. I got a quote for $180, and that was on the condition that the corners were not damaged. Perhaps a place closer to home was in order. My Yelp search turned up iStyleFix. I liked that prices were on the front page of their website. I emailed to verify prices, and I got a prompt response. $140 for iPad mini. They also let me know that they would need time to order the glass, as it is a new model. I am guessing I'm amongst the first to crack the mini with retina display. What an achievement. We brought the iPad in on Tuesday, with a promise it would be done on Friday. Come Wednesday, just 24 hours into my 4 day wait, we got a text that the iPad was done! I was ecstatic! They had me test out the iPad to make sure it worked and that I was satisfied. Indeed I am. Thanks to the staff, I am a happily here with my iPad writing this review. One other thing... Their competitive price has me thinking I will no longer purchase insurance on my iPhones. With reasonable repair prices, I'll just self-insure (aka take a chance). read more

Cracked my iPhone 6s screen and needed that fixed. Had some scheduling miscommunications a couple times on their end. They could benefit from being a bit more organized but I'm giving a good rating because they were very nice and accommodating. But that's it. The screen they put on has a weird tint that makes everything faded. And the screen isn't on well at all, it's really difficult for me to type on the phone now. I wasn't having any issues with the phone prior to them working on it. I did let them know right away and someone came back to look at my phone and didn't see the issue but said to call if I needed him to comeback and tighten the screen and such. But, ya know, you messed up already, I'm not trying to have you take another go at it.... So I wasted $75 and am just going to go upgrade at Apple. I feel like this was more of an Off beat occurrence for them though and not their usual. I'd recommend giving them a try. Benefit of the doubt. read more
