Good Stuff Moving - Matt and Kyle--awesome movers!

Good Stuff Moving

I have used Good Stuff Moving in the past (multiple times) and recommended them to friends who have…read morealso used them multiple times. I do not recommend companies easily, but this company goes above and beyond. I just moved from MN to MA, and called Brent. He responded with a quick - "we can do it - let me find a driver" Jim, the Director of Ops did the drive. He is where I say they go above and beyond... On Monday, Jim and the crew had the house emptied in no time and loaded. We did a walk through, and coordinated our schedules. He then told me his itinerary and that he would text me each night. I was leaving Tuesday Morning and we both planned on being in MA on Wednesday evening. It went seamless. I heard from Jim each night, and again Thursday morning as he was headed to the new home with my furniture and goods. Like the loading of the truck, the unloading went just as smooth. In the end, not even a glass was cracked, everything was put where I wanted it, Jim was communicating the whole time, and the final price was within the quote. The company is great to work with, the employees are even better. Thanks for your service over the years GSM.

Nasty estimator-…read more Just got off the phone with this company, and I am stunned at the outright disrespect I encountered. From the moment I asked a question, the representative snapped into a rude, condescending tone as if I dared inconvenience him by simply existing. Honestly, with an attitude like his, he could only be a third-party estimator--because he certainly lacked any professionalism or basic customer service skills. When I pointed out that their pricing was double that of other quotes, he had the audacity to laugh and snidely remark, "Well, if you want your stuff damaged, go with them." That kind of arrogance is not only insulting but completely unjustified. Lower pricing does not automatically mean incompetence or damage. Let's be clear: I explained, in the simplest of terms, that it was just one hour of moving. But no, their inflated minimum is two guys for two hours--$550 for a single hour's work! At that price, I might as well keep them around for an extra hour to scrub my truck and clean the bathroom so they could at least pretend to earn their outrageous fee. And then came the pièce de résistance: the smug boast of "26 years in business." Frankly, if this kind of treatment is their standard, those 26 years are 26 too many. Based on the fabricated-looking reviews plastered across other platforms, it's clear they've been relying on fluff and deception instead of real customer satisfaction. This isn't a business--it's a scam with a phone number. They don't deserve your time, your money, or your patience. Avoid them like the plague.

I think every future customer should be extremely wary about hiring this company. I spoke with Justin about the damages and all he said was, I'll make sure to state the insurance information to other customers. They only gave me $50 when the damages were over $2000. A terrible company.

My experience with AAA was not perfect but it was worth it in the end…read more I booked online 2 months in advanced. I'm particular and demanding so I need to prepare for hell day. They got my address wrong but I kept bugging the guy until he changed it. I like to see things in writing. Keeps everyone honest. The week before the move i contacted them online again via email. I got rid of my mattress and didn't need a mattress pad. They said they would remove it from the final bill. The day before the move, I called them to confirm my move date, time and location. They told me noon Saturday. I woke up early and told my husband to go to the new place to wait for new furniture delivery. Unfortunately they scheduled for the same time as the movers. Can you imagine my freak out? At 12:00 no one arrived at the old place for the move. I called the main dispatch number from google. The guy told me he would call back once he reached the team who was to move me. At 1:30 he calls and says they have delayed. He told the team leader to call me when they had a time. He apologized for the lack of communication. He said if the team lead didn't call by 2pm to call him back. At 2pm, the phone still didn't ring so I called back in again. He apologized again and said he would call the team lead. By this time, I was hangry and irritated but I understand moving rarely goes according to plan. Finally at 3pm the team lead calls. He is audibly tired and flustered. Their current client was I'll prepared and they ended up taking extra time to adapt to get the job done. I told him that was fine but they needed to communicate better. I told him to just call me when he was on his way to my place. By this time my husband and I were reunited at the old house and hangry. We went to grab lunch. 5 minutes into lunch, I get a call that they are on the way.. ETA 15 minutes. We cram food down our gullet and get back home just in time to get another call. The team wasn't sure where to park. I told them I'd meet them upfront and I did. I instructed them to take the elevator up to the 3rd floor and turn right. Our apt door was open. The two 20 yr old were my team of movers. They looked exhausted by the time they arrived to my house. I could never imagine doing this for a living. They haul out gigantic rolling carts, dollys and padding. They take it all upstairs in several trips. We had very large heavy furniture, a tiny elevator and narrow doors. The boys disassembled and moved all the most complicated items in my house. I did go around gathering screws and assembly items as they disassembled it. I made sure to have my tool box as well as a ziploc bag for every piece of furniture. I tried to help but they did a better job. Girl fail lol I told them specific directions on where to park at the new place. It was the first floor, thank god. They got there and followed my directions perfectly. When we arrived they put down protective runners to protect my carpets. Yasss I was so happy! My husband and the 2 boys now started to all work together and got everything unloaded and reassembled within an hour! I directed the boys as they brought items in and reminded them about the color codes for each room. They followed that color code like it was the law! Eventually they memorized the colors and rooms. Way to go boys! One boy ended up assembling while the other continued to bring in boxes. My husband moved the boxes away from the main paths and stacked them. Way to go team! The quote was $625.00 The final rate was $675.00 Not bad. We went overtime but not by much. If my husband and I didn't work with the boys, it could have easily been another hour. We moved from a 2 bedroom to a 3 bedroom. We were in Roseville, MN and went to Woodbury,MN. First apt was on 3rd floor and we needed an elevator. Elevators and upper floors just take more time. That's a fact. My second apt was on the first floor with a parking lot as my backyard, which meant they could back up the truck up to my patio door and we were flying! My expensive heavy furniture arrived safely but just a little dusty. They helped us put everything heavy where it was supposed to be. They had great attitudes and did not slack. We gave them each a hundred bucks for a tip. They deserved more but I needed buffet money for later. ;) Just know that you being active in your move and being prepared will help you save money. You will make everyone's lives easier including yours. Other than the lack of communication initially and the timing which couldn't be helped. We loved those boys! Wish we could have them at all our moves. In the past we have always used friends and family. Nevermore!!!

I paid for 2 hours thinking that would get the heavy stuff, and a hour in they had all the heavy stuff up and I was throwing things into boxes just because they were there and could move everything. I literally had EVERYTHING moved in a hour and a half! 2nd and 3rd time was moving units and the service was once again great! They were prompt and got the move done fast and efficient! The 4th time, there were some hiccups, they arrived outside of the window (scheduled from 11-4 and showed up at 5:15) but they still got it done. 1 out of 5 I don't feel like I can be too mad. And I was given a partial refund on the experience since it was less than perfect! The 5th time, they arrived right on time and were very helpful! I was even donating a couch and they helped remove it from the unit and put it on the trailer for us. I couldn't get my bed frame apart and they offered to pull it apart for me and they did! They were incredibly helpful! I have shopped around a few times and the prices don't even compare to these guys! Anytime anyone needs a mover, these are who I recommend!
