What I loved was that their price was in the middle of all the ones that I called, but most importantly came with twice as many workers & they did not charge for packing up the boxes I did not get to! As of February 2026, H-town movers provided 4 movers for $155/hr , with a $120 one time fee that covered the truck & travel. That is all i was charged! (They have a minimum of 2 hrs, but anything after that, they only charge at 15 minute intervals). I provided the boxes, tape, and paper-- you can get their packaging packet, but I found all of my stuff cheaper & they used the kitchen towels, wash rags etc that i left out for them also! However, they do provide unlimited plastic wrap & moving blankets to wrap up all furniture. They were very careful packing up all my fragile items (large dresser mirrors, China plates, mugs etc). I was very relieved with their detail to that . They were extremely efficient (did not purposely "dilly dally" to rack up hours) and had a great attitude the entire time! I could hear them singing or telling jokes to each other, which helped relieve a little bit of my stress by creating such a pleasant atmosphere. They were also extremely kind with our toddler running around. I did not have to micromanage them at all. The only thing I did have to remind now and then was if a certain section was going in storage or to our new moving location. They did not charge for making 2 stops. At the first stop, they would ask where we wanted the box or furniture item, and they happily brought it to whichever location. They do not charge for stairs, which is nice. They were also extremely efficient in packing up the storage unit where we had a ton of space left over! i would highly recommend this company & their movers and I would definitely use them in the future! Having more hands on board at a very reasonable price helped get everything done in one day and in a shorter time span than I had anticipated!

They've gone above and beyond for me on several occasions - including helping me figure out how to nicely print some documents that I couldn't figure out at all. They often have a line in the store because they're the best and everyone goes to them! But no worries, they have a pretty efficient system and handle their customers really quickly. I tried to return a package using the same box it was originally delivered in, and they still refused to accept it. No clear explanation, just constant pushback and upselling. This does not feel like a standard UPS Store at all. It feels more like a family-run franchise making up their own rules rather than following UPS return policies. If they deny your return, go to another UPS Store. I did, and the other location accepted the exact same box without any issue. Save yourself the time, money, and headache and avoid this location.

Their initial compensation offer was $23. After six months of haggling and constant follow-ups, they finally offered $123. I was exhausted and just took it to be done. To top it off, this was a Texas-to-Florida move, and they were extremely vague about when my belongings would actually arrive. No clear delivery day, no transparency--just stress and uncertainty. If you value your belongings or your time, please do not use this company. A good first impression means nothing when they can't keep track of your property or communicate honestly.

A large picture was destroyed and several boxes went missing from the move. The owner let me know…read morethey were left in a different city and country from where the rest of items were delivered. I was charged $67 more than what was agree on and multiple pieces of my companies electronics, part of my home office set-up, were also left in another city and country with no address. The fact that none of the employees spoke English only made this all more difficult. Topping it off when I tried to pay my bank warned me of excessive fraudulent activity on the "company" account when I tried to pay. I was asked to send the payment to the owner and list them as a friend on zelle. Do not get screwed by them! Do not trust this company. They will steal from you, lie about everything, then do absolutely nothing to make it right.
