Storage units of all sizes. We used a 10'x40' storage space for our household items. We paid for one month and the second month was free. It worked perfect for us. Place has servalance cameras throughout the facility, along with an security access coded gate for entry. Plenty of lighting throughout the facility especially for those late night visits. Managed personnel sleeps within the property up near the entrance office area. read more

I came last night to put items in storage and found a roach infestation. Seriously more than 55+ roaches. Pics below. I pay extra for an inside clinate controlled unit so that I wouldn't have pests. Unfortunately that didn't matter in this case. The pics below are of the first hall of my building. I am moving on Thursday hoping to protect my things before the roaches are LITERALLY everywhere. I asked the office for a refund of the admin fee as I will have to pay the admin fee again at the new facility and for a refund of the days unused. They are refusing and told me that's the purpose of renter's insurance. They said I should file a claim. I came here bc I got flooded out during the storm. I have been staying with my boyfriend and needed a place to keep my things for when I can find a new place. Extra Storage took a tough situation and made it the worst it could possibly be. Not only do I have to move all of my stuff TWICE but I have to pay twice the freaking fees. I selected Extra Storage on personal referral. I never expected such TERRIBLE customer service. To say I'm dissapointed with my experience here is an understatement. I would suggest looking into Summer Lakes. They cost a little more but they are a cleaner facility and they treat their builsings inside and out every 60 days. Worth it to have the peace of mind in my opinion. read more

Major price hike. I been here for more than a year paying directly out of my account. When I started it was $70 a month then they jumped to $100 for so much it's been $100 a month for a long time then for no reason today it jumped to $180. I closed my account and moved my things. Just sad no appreciation for loyal customers. read more

If you want a great experience setting up your storage, signing your paperwork and getting charged, this is the place! This is also the place to go if you want to be locked out of your storage ONLY 3 DAYS after you sign your paperwork and BE FORCED to incur ADDITIONAL COSTS due to having to pay for your rental truck for an ADDITIONAL DAY. All because Whoever runs this shit place doesn't know how to do their job. So that leaves you locked out on a Sunday and you now have no choice but to leave your contents in your rental moving truck until you can get a hold of the office and get your shit unlocked. Smh This has been super unprofessional and extremely annoying not to mention expensive!! These mistakes on EXTRA SPACE's part have cost me more money than i should've had to pay! Pick a different place to store your things! This place sucks! read more

After renting at this unit for several months while it was called Reading Road Storage, we grew to really like the location, manager, and were proud to meet people at the units as it looked really nice with manacured lawn and trees. Recently in past few months the units sold to Extra Space Storage which has a noticable change. From the trees were all cut down and ground the trunks. Now all along the main road it is not only dirty but missing a since of beauty given this is residential area. The new manager has been good to work with for simple questions. However, with 3 large units i did not expect any conflicts with our working for short periods of time. This quickly became a problem as we were told we at units to long. We were to come and go quickly or in a timely manner. The other issues is we had to cut a few boards so they would fit properly. I did not want to load long boards and saw to cut about 10 boards. So we hooked up saw to cut the boards. We were accused of STEALING ELECTRIC. We never left a miss for any one to clean, matter of fact. Many times i was cleaning up messes around the ac units, trash dumpster and hallway. At one time even saw 2 DEAD RATS that were laying between units and since i knew where they where as a jester of kindness ask to use broom and dustpan to pickup myself. No matter the kind of work Carlos is doing others are also "working " just the same. My?? Did they ask all them to leave. Being so concerned about how propery looks.. Why does trash over flow in dumpster and employees continue to smoke on property. I wish you well in your search for a storage unit, but in my opinion this unit is meant for chrismas box storage. Beware of Extra Space storage!!! I have a signed contract that says my rate is $106 per month and they have been charging my bank account $172 and when I called to ask why they said they notified me by mail that my rate was increasing by almost 70% and that I didn't have to agree to it that they could charge me whatever they chose because they supposedly sent some letter!! There is no confirmation that a letter was received or anything on my behalf. read more
