I've been going to the same nail salon since I moved here 8 years ago. My daughter referred me to Ispa. I went the next morning. Walked in at 9:30, was taken immediately before her 10:00 am appointment. She fixed a nail split issue I've had on my big toe for at least a year now. I picked the wrong color (it was too sheer) she went and swapped it out for me, love the color she picked better. There was no pressure in up selling the service. I didn't feel rushed although now her 10:00am was there. The service and quality was a 10/10. I enjoyed the massage chairs, but I could have used some more booty cushion. Dirty, Rude and Unsanitary. Save yourself the trip. Called to get in for two gel pedi's with my mom who's visiting from out of state. The person that answered the phone acted as if it was an annoyance, I should have said never mind and gone elsewhere. We show up and the place is so filthy I wanted to turn around and walk out, but my mom really wanted a pedi. The lady rushed us over to our chairs, filled the barley warm water while watching us struggle with our coats and purses (no where to put our things) I asked is there a place we can hang out coats? She angrily ripped my coat out of hand and hung it up in an unknown location. I will say the two nail techs (one male and one female) were kind and polite. The service took maybe 20 min. They splash a little water one your feet, didn't use autoclaved tools and get ya out the door for $120 bucks. We walked out and my mom said "that was the weirdest pedicure I've ever had" to which I replied "yeah if we don't get toe fungus I will be shocked". I can't attest to how long this gel will last but I would never go back. The place is filthy, they take zero precautions regarding using sanitary tools and many of them are going to treat you like sh*t. Still looking for a good gel pedi in CDA. read more

This salon could be such a great place. I have given them so many chances because I can walk there. No more! There isn't enough technicians, they took my appointment and after I finally got to sit down after 20 minutes, they switched me to another table. If I make an appointment for one person, I expect for them to do my nails. Literally the worst place ever. My nail broke after one day. Jessica used to be my go to girl until she moved . Aiden, Lynn and Emma are now my go to ! Aiden and Lynn are amazing at doing ombre dip nails with a design on top! They take their time on my pedicure and all my crazy nail designs to make them look exactly what I was looking for and more!! I like doing the gel on my toes and the dip on my fingers. If you don't set an appointment expect to be there a few hours or more and if you do set an appointment still expect a couple hours for perfection. I'm not usually this negative but I would never recommend this place to anyone. I've tried this place SEVERAL times and its so unbelievably unprofessional. They have a blatant disregard for anyone's time and appointments. My Mother and I called a week ago to set an appointment and they said 9:30 was the best time so we show up at 9:30 because THAT WAS THE TIME THEY SAID. And we no joke waited for them to arrive for 25 minutes... just standing outside. They finally arrive and then take another 20 minutes to get ready. And now the 10:00 and 10:30 appointments show up and there's 15 people waiting. I got sat down first with the owner Joe and everyone else is now behind because my 9:30 appointment started at 10:15. Just to add Joe moved me around to 3 other people so I played fucking magic chairs my whole appointment when I specifically booked the appointment to get my nails done by Joe. THEN THE CHERRY ON TOP! People started leaving OBVIOUSLY because people have other shit going on in their lives. And the owner started screaming at the other employees (I'm not exaggerating) for 20 minutes at least. And he's done this several times before. Everyone that was waiting or getting something done looked so unhappy and annoyed. Like why are you YELLING???? How unprofessional. If you are trying to have a nice day with your daughter, mother, dad, son, or friends... Don't go here. It'll just ruin a good hour of your day. read more

Went to get my nails done here and called an hour prior to showing up to make an appointment. I get there with my mother and they had us sit and wait for almost an hour before taking us even with the appointment we made. We finally sit down (even though we should have left) and he starts doing my nails all was fine whatever. He gets up in the middle of doing my nails without saying a thing so I'm thinking maybe he went to go get some sort of tool to continue working on my nails. Well.. I was very wrong. I sat there and waited for 10 minutes for him to return back to the station I was sitting at and he just never came back. So finally I asked umm what's going on? Where'd he go? They told me someone else was going to come over and finish my nails. So now that I'm halfway through it all that was needed was for them to be painted I now have to sit and wait AGAIN for the woman next to me who was also in the middle of helping a client btw to come over and paint my nails. After she told me she was going to finish my nails she moved me to a DIRTY station with nail shavings and filed off acrylic powder all over the desk. Come to find out the man who originally started my set left in the middle without saying anything to take another client and started a pedicure before ever finishing my set. After all was said and done I got NOTHING even close to what I asked for ! My nails look like shit, the shape of each one is different they're not proportionate to one another & the color isn't even either. This was the first time I didn't tip a salon for their work. I'm EXTREMELY upset with my experience and the result of my nails. I was there for 3 hours for my nails to look like this and be charged $45 for a light pink clear coat. I was nervous reading all the reviews and this place having a 3 star rating, so I went somewhere else first. I wasn't too happy with the other place and my friend always has such cute designs on her nails from iSpa. She goes to Tram. So I set an appt and figured one time trying it out couldn't hurt. I am happy I did. Tram's service was great. One time the tool was too hot and I pulled back a little. She apologized and I could tell she was a little more careful and even made sure I was ok during the rest of the time. I had showed her a picture of what I wanted her to do and she did a great job. I took my mom here for a little girls nail day and was underwhelmed. My mom didn't want gel, only regular polish, so I told her manicurist to give her the luxury manicure. He was too busy constantly trying to sell her on gel he only did the $15 manicure. My nail technician was good, but rushed through my gel manicure because she had an appt she didn't know about walk in. Its day 3 and my (gel) polish is already lifting, chipping, bubbling and has an odd texture. I didn't do anything in the past 3 days that would warrant them to chip. Normally my nails last weeks before they show any wear. My mom's nails look good for a $15 manicure but you can tell he didn't buff her nails prior to polishing, but hers are unchipped, even though he repeatedly told her they would barely last a day. Way overpriced for what you receive. I had to tell him that my toes needed an extra coat of nail polish because you could see through it... my ombré full set is so uneven, they don't even look filed. He also tried to charge us $5 more than what their menu says and said they upped their prices. Hahah what! $50 for a full set ! YOU'RE INSANE! Completely disappointing. Tried them a couple of weeks ago and didn't post a review in hopes it was just a bad day. Appointments seem to run 15 mins or more behind. Nail shaping: nails have rough sharp corners even after asking for corrections. Had a gel pedi. The tech accidentally bumped my toe, messing up the polish. She wiped it off and fixed it. What she didn't do was re-cure the polish before reapplying. As a result, the polish bubbled the very next day and peeled off two days later. I asked for gel on my fingers but the tech said she preferred dip. After seeing her challenges on the gel for my toes, went along with it. The dip was so thick that it looked like I had putty on my nails. After the dip, there was no cuticle oil, no lotion, just walked me to the counter to pay. Paid over $100 for one of the worst nail services I've ever had. They are the most expensive in the area but lowest quality I have experienced. Guess they're trying to have out-of-towners who won't know the quality until they're back home. read more

Being new to the area, I read Yelp reviews to find new spots. This pace is definitely my Nail Salon. They have only been there since April. Joey and Lily are extremely nice and professional. They have 4 levels of pedicures. I did the second one and it was wonderful. Lily did a fantastic job on my two big toes which had been some what neglected due to my recent move up here. My feet and toes were happy, relaxed, and look sooooo much better. They have plenty of colors to chose from so I don't think I will ever run out of choices. I did the dipping powder for my hands. (I can't do gel due to severe allergic reactions). They have plenty of colors and put on 3 coats of color and a clear top coat. My cuticles look much healthier and my nails are shiny and sparkly. This place is worth the 40 minute drive and is now my regular nail salon. read more

Went in and the lady took me over to the massage chair which would have been nice except they didn't have proper tables to do fingernails so I had to keep reaching across my body to get my right hand painted off the side of a very wide chair...which was an uncomfortable stretch. The lady rushed me through (even though there were 3 people in a salon that could attend to ~10) and she didn't do a good job. The gel on my thumb was stuck to my skin , the nails are bumpy and uneven, there are thin spots, areas that go off my nail, and there are bubbles in my thumb nails that have dirt in them now (got them done yesterday) which is disgusting looking. I've been to this nail salon now twice, once for a full set of acrylic and the second time for a fill. My first experience was great. They started my appointment on time. Joe took his time with my set. The shape was great and the acrylic was laid beautifully. Then, when it came time for paint, I did a colored french tip and his wife did wonderful. The paint looked great. Very few complaints overall. Unfortunately, my second experience was extremely disappointing. I asked for Joe again and he obviously overbooked himself or didn't manage his time wisely. They started my fill over 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment. He was working extremely fast and rushed. He wrenched on my nails and cut my cuticles. While he was waiting for one of my finger's acrylic to finish curing he took on a walk-in and began a full set of acrylic on her while I sat and waited for file/paint. After about an additional 30 minutes of sitting there, he came over to finish filing and begin painting. Due to his obvious rushing, my French tip paint job came out lumpy and streaky. It was overall disappointing compared to my first experience at this salon. He gave me a $5 discounted rate for my patience. I don't know if i will be returning because i thought i found my new go-to salon. read more

Had a gel manicure right before Christmas that chipped in the first week. Called to have it fixed and never received a call back. Went today for a group pedicure. Walked in to so many people waiting that there wasn't a place to sit. In these times, I understand that employees get sick and/or don't show up but nothing was offered as an excuse. We waited and waited. Were seated in chairs and before the last person in our group got their pedi, the workers moved on to another group of three. Two in that group got tired of waiting and left. Employee did one pedi and left to take a mani who was thirty minutes early for her appt. Employee left customers who had been waiting for over an hour for someone who was 30 minutes early. My friend referred me to Ispa and they got me in same day, fixed my messed up acrylics, and gave me one of the best pedicures I've had in a long time. I cannot recommend them more! She was really aggressive with the callous file during my pedicure and ended up removing skin on the side of my big toe. i just had a pedicure done less than a month ago so it wasn't like my feet were really bad. I pulled back and said ouch and she just kept going and saying "it's ok". Between the three of us it was $160. I will not be going back. If you hurt someone admit it, apologize, and we can move on. My friends and I went here for pedicures and were all SUPER disappointed. We are all locals and have visited many of the nail salons in the area - CDA Nails, Ken's Nails, Anna's Nails, The Resort, Aveda...I would recommended all of them above this place. They have a B rating posted right when you walk in (red flag) and the entire pedicure lasted about 15 minutes. I left with polish all over my skin and heels that are still rough. If you're going to spend $30+ on a pedicure, choose a different place in Coeur d'Alene. read more
