He gave options for causing the least damage and advised my mom on what he thought would work best and was very transparent about what would happen. Oh no! I locked myself out of my condo. Reaching the owner is iffy at best, she rarely answers the phone. Sigh. It was late on a Friday afternoon, after 4pm, and I wondered if I could reach someone and get back into my unit this afternoon? First I called the resident manager, but he doesn't have a key. Then I checked Yelp and as always they came through. I got through on the first try with Isle Locksmith. The pleasant surprise was that they were only 20 minutes away on a busy Friday afternoon. Lucky me! No extra charge for a rush job either. The young man that they sent was polite and had ID which is a must for me. He got myy ancient and somewhat rusty door unlocked without damaging it or even the surrounding paint. I won't have to deal with the condo owner. Yeah. It took him less that 15 min from start to finish. I hope this NEVER happens to you but if it does, call Isle Locksmith. They provide good customer service and reassurance. The cost was just about $180 which I'm told is the going rate in Honolulu. What a relief! Whew. So good to get quick service when you get locked out like me. lol read more

I created a project on Yelp because I accidentally locked the keys inside of my house. Isle Locksmith was the ONLY company that messaged me quickly saying there's a technician available. It took less than 10 minutes for my technician, Danny, to come by. Super fast! I wasn't waiting under the sun for a very long time. After Danny unlocked my door, he made sure I got my keys and made me practice unlocking my door. It was really nice of him to make sure I was still able to get inside. The cost to unlock my door was a total of $175.92. I could either pay card or cash. Danny also gave a receipt afterwards. Yes, it's a little pricey, but Danny was able to get to my house as quick as possible and unlocked my door in seconds. It was great service if you ask me! Just got three smart locks and two door knobs re-keyed so that all I need is one key to lock all three doors! Danny was so awesome and helpful! I couldn't have asked for a better locksmith! Safe, professional and prompt indeed in the words of the business description--we never felt uncomfortable and the work was done well. Shai is the owner and he helped us to get back into our place efficiently. He did not try to upsell any service including a chain lock that he suggested we install ourselves--we appreciated that attitude. He even helped us to install and test a smart lock. Since this kind of service is not one that you plan to call at odd hours and it is one that will cost you a few hundred, you can pay with a credit card--very nice to have this option although I recognize that small businesses do prefer cash. A small lessons learned that will save you hours of cleaning: before your lock is drilled apart, consider any kind of a floor liner so you're not trying to clean up all the small shredded pieces that can sometimes be as small as glitter, get tracked everywhere and definitely enter your feet like splinters. I called Sunday and a pleasant gal answered , gave me a quote based on 2 different scenarios. She advised to have their mechanic survey what I needed and he wld be able to provide a more accurate price. Alex arrived on time the next day and was able to provide an acceptable quote. As an active duty Soldier, I would not recommend this business to anyone. I was quoted $130-150 service charge to have my apartment door open but when the locksmith arrived on site my price jumped to $185.40. I told him that this wasn't the price I was quoted and he recommended that I spoke with the manager again to see what the issue was. The locksmith on site (Alex Zummallen) then said the office sometimes say, "the service itself can be $140" not including the $39 convenience fee + taxes. In the event that this was a misunderstanding, I would recommend them telling customers the actual total not the amount to open the door. After speaking with the business receptionist again and mentioning I was active duty military, they offered to lower the price $20.85 - to a grand total of $164.55. Our knob was replaced and it was re-keyed all to our request. Super helpful, informative and upfront with pricing. *tip: bring all your keys if a lock is to be re-keyed. EXCELLENT SERVICE +++++++!! Very unusual to have this level of proficiency and niceness. I lost my electronic key to my Tucson. Although they didn't have the electronic key in stock at the time they were able to make a basic key so I could still use the car. While they were here I asked if they could make basic key copies right there. For $5, I made a bunch to save me a trip to the store. And the keys are smooth as silk. Alex did most of the work with Brittney arranging the times. When the electronic key came in, Brittney called and the boss came to key the key. He made a bunch more regular keys that all worked smoothly again. I don't think I'll ever call another key company. read more

We misplaced the mailbox key for my work and we needed to get into our lockbox urgently for a package that we needed for a job we were doing and Shai was able to schedule us in within 24 hours. He offered to meet us the same day, but we actually were not able to due to a work errand I have to run and he was able to schedule me in the next day. Showed up on time and did a great job in a timely fashion. The only thing is that I wish when I hire companies they can live up to the quote that was given to me. I was quoted $199-250 but ended up paying close to $500.. I understand that it was maybe a harder job then expected or maybe I was misquoted or both but I sent a picture of my safe prior to the appointment. I see a first customer discount offer but that wasn't offered either. Anyways, you guys still get a 5 star from me for getting it done. Edit: you guys misquoted me, and I paid double, but that's not reason enough to offer a 10% new customer discount that's being advertised on your yelp? Your app asked for a 15-20% tip from an inflated $450 charge.. do you realize that's a $90 tip to total $540 from an original quote of $199-$250. Cmon dude let's be real you should have offered the discount at the very minimum.
