It wasn't the same level as Phil's in Quebec City or Schwart's in Montreal, but still good at a great price. The complimentary fresh side of slaw paired nicely. I'm not saying this is the greatest lunch ever, but for only $10 USD this is fantastic value and lunch, especially compared to Seattle/America! I am bit shocked by some of the 1 Star Reviews regarding the owner/operator, because during our visit she was sweet, funny, friendly, and so personable.

Customize your sandwich fixings at the deli counter and eat in or grab n go for a picnic at Langford Lake. Can get busy at lunch rush. Choose from traditional sandwich, wrap or grilled panini. Bread is soft and delicious, and doesn't need to be toasted it's that good. Even the roast beef and turkey are oven roasted in their kitchen. They are known for their scratch-made soups offering up 3 daily options (they have a monthly menu board so you know what's coming). Don't forget the cookies - they are classically delicious and also baked fresh daily. They used to do a really good traditional breakfast menu on Sundays until 2pm. More tasty comfort food like eggs benny, omelettes, pancakes, waffles... (But I can understand if they need a day off!) I returned to ask about the correctness of the order and the woman behind the counter got chippy immediately stating that this is the turkey club and wrapped it up and handed it back without even long at it. I asked about the three slices of toasted bread listed on the menu. She said that the board is wrong and we don't do three pieces any more. I asked about the single piece of bacon and she wanted to hand me some more bacon. A $16 sandwich that wasn't as adversities and an unwillingness to make it right means we won't be returning.
