If I could give negative stars, this would probably deserve it. Really contemplated in writing a review on ICE so they can get their management to do a better job. Can you imagine in anyone else case forced to pay $6,000 a month? They sell you with the "move in and pay later" meaning you move in June, and July covers June's rent, August covers July and so forth... Don't fall for it. We ended receiving a phone call demanding a payment that same day. After signing documents to withdraw automatic payments from the account, they call to make me go personally to pay with a few hours or else I would be charged a late fee, here's the kicker (mind you, all this was THEIR mistake and my authorization for payment is set) when I cannot walk in the same day, I get threatened that it will be reported to the chain of command. WTF? Really? I really wish they did because they would've laughed at their incompetence. 2. Regardless, not to deal with them I had someone go and make a payment, which they assured "everything is set, no more problems" ...well, guess what, after reassuring me multiple times, it's not. Apparently they entered the wrong amount and I need to pay an additional $630 after the $2700. So total paid was close to $6,000 in a month for falling to the "pay later". It's not even the money, and I'm thankful my savings is set for a while, but can you imagine someone who is forced to pay almost 3k within a few hours notice on top of the original rent of another 3k, if not the command will be informed and a late fee will apply when it's not even your fault? Been here for 3 months and the countdown has officially begun. They need to find persons that know how to talk to people, most importantly, take some responsibility for not doing their job correctly and stop putting blame on the renters for administration errors on their part. I have to agree with all the other people in the reviews. I speak for myself; talk to me like a person. You're not doing me ANY favors. We pay to be here just like we would pay anywhere else and I feel the workers think they can talk to you in a condescending manner with some sort of entitlement, and if you disagree or question they start making threats about speaking to the members chain of command. NO! I am not an item, I am human. Treat me with respect and talk to me with courtesy, I am not one of the many military members that has to stay quiet to avoid getting in trouble, I do not like threats, or to be threatened. I will respond when you are wrong and will treat you with the same respect given. I had never encountered any rude personnel in the Navy housing. I will be requesting a move-over to Pearl City. ((Heads up, all military are welcomed in all military housing, regardless of the branch, apply Navy/Air Force). I accepted and received a 'not acceptable' move-in ready home only because I needed a house already (multiply bugs on the floor, stained/dirty tubs, floors were not waxed and severely scratched, the carpet was the worse, it smelled horrendous (pretty sure the previous owners had a pet inside the home). Make sure you write everything down! I know for a fact the carpet was not steamed, there's no way a clean carpet will look that dirty and smell that bad, yes... I actually choked on the smell and requested the female to blast the AC and leave doors open so the smell could fade. Move-in ready is suppose to mean, the house is completely ready for you, this made it very inconvenient since I had to go buy cleaning supplies to soak every single toilet and scrub the bathtubs, also had to buy a broom, and mop since the bugs were just lying dead on the floor and I didn't have household goods. It wasn't extremely bad, just very very inconvenient and minus 2 hours of labor. CONS: Trash is not always picked up. Rude personnel that threats and escalates problems fairly quickly. Administration is horrible doing paperwork. You need multiple order numbers for each particular item in the household. If you go over your electrical allotment, you pay out of pocket for the difference (this is actually tricky since its "estimated" I still don't even understand our bills, we haven't paid out of pocket, but I know people that pay every month an additional couple hundred). May receive a not "move-in ready" home. PROS: Gardeners maintain the lawn outside. Water usage is free. Location is convenient. They lend you loaner furniture till your home goods are in. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This place has made me decide not to ever live on post again. They are MONEY HUNGRY!!! they will charge you any and everything they can get out of you. I am a former employee as well so I know how they operate. They are shady. Dont waste your time or money living here its not worth the price. The houses are old, moldy, and infested with rats. read more

Moved in on HMR in 2010 and wish we had not. Houses are all old and not worth the BAH the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything your neighbors are doing. Staff are locals and most of them are very rude. They started building new houses last year (no 2 bedroom houses suprise!) all of us with the old nasty stuff are still paying full BAH while Private Snuffy with his three kids are moving into the new top of the line housing for less than what we are paying for the ghetto houses. Did my moveout inspection today thank God, they are trying to get us to pay for all the broken stuff and old carpets we got when we moved in. Actius Lend Lease their parent company is infamous for trying to stick it to you any way they can when you move out to maximise their profits. I highly recommend you find somewhere else to live. The Navy housing at least offers partial BAH refunds if you get stuck with an old piece of crap house. read more

Randy Souza has been a pleasure to work with. Great customer service and very insightful.

First, this review is for the AMR location of IPC. My wife and I lived in AMR for two years. We had a number of issues occur while we were living there BUT the maintenance crew and supporting staff responded quickly to fix all of our issues. We were also very PROACTIVE on reporting issues to IPC maintenance. Like many others moving to HI we wanted our BAH to be the best bang of our buck and AMR provided that time and time again. It is in a great location on the island and although AMR is "base housing" I never felt that we actually lived on an installation. We had a solar panel issue which caused our electric bill to be outrageous. We reported it to IPC and their team inspected our home found the issue fixed it and covered the overage cost to our electric bill. Shortly after we had a visible pipe leak from the attic (hot water heater pipe). We noticed a gray shadow above a spare bedroom wall above the door. The sheet rock was soft to the touch. After noticing we immediately reported the issue to IPC. The maintenance team did not cut the water off after cutting a portion of the hot water pip to replace it. Water began to pour from the attic through the second floor and through the first floor FANS and ventilation in the living room. Long story short, IPC offered to put us in a hotel while our home was getting fixed from the mishap. Everything was fixed in mint condition because they have awesome staff who take care of their customers. We thoroughly enjoyed our home in AMR and would do it all over again. read more

If I could give this review with ZERO stars that would be more adequate. Where to begin... Our first experience with Island Palms left much to be desired and we should have taken that as a warning sign. The man in charge of getting us into a home would not respond to me and only emailed my husband... Even when I would email him he would reply to my husband. Next, after we have moved in, we had maintenance workers wipe instruments on our towels when doing work in the bathrooms. I was also harassed by a maintenance worker to the point where I had to go to the Police and rectify the situation. If you should need something fixed in your home it will take about a month to get an appointment and even then we had a worker come to our house to inform us he didn't have time for the job and we would need to reschedule. We had an emergency and needed some electrical work done because there was a wire that was sparking. I called the emergency line and left a message... Yes their emergency line has you leave a message. I was called quickly after which was nice and told they would send someone out... No one ever arrived. All in all I would never recommend Island Palms to anyone. Our experience has been horrible and when we have tried to talk to management we have seen no improvement on these issues. However, the women who work at the community center are always nice. read more

I'm a resident in the AMR community. I have lived here for the past four years. The living conditions have been a living nightmare since 2016. That's when the disrespectful neighbors moved in, and they have been nothing but trouble since then. Over the past three years, the neighbors continue to disregard the rules and regulations that are in place for the residents to follow. Unruly, disrespectful behavior is acceptable from Island Palms Management. I have had informed the management of the numerous dogs at the residents and also, being verbally assaulted by the neighbor's male extended stay guest at the residents and NOTHING is ever done. My family feels as though we are a prisoner in our own home. We're unable to utilize the outdoor amenities due to the smell from six dogs feces in the backyard that my neighbors refuse to clean up and despite the management knowing the yard. An I have provided management with several images of the dog wastes and six unauthorized dogs at the resides and nothing ever comes to pass other than action is taking place. Uncertain about what action because the six unauthorized dogs are still at the residence and the yard presently still have feces all over. So, I believe we're being told this just to shut us up. No one wants to address the issue we're just being pushed to the back. I feel as though I have fallen on deaf ears. What I have learned over time living here is that RESIDENTS, HAVE THE LIBERTY TO DO WHATEVER THEY WANT TO DO WITHOUT ANY CONSEQUENCES. Residences living in Island Palms have the options to choose to follow the rules at their convenience, it doesn't matter if what their doing is unacceptable or unruly to anymore because respect isn't required from residences to live in Island Palm Communities. I have been left to believe that no one is going to come and assess the situation and try to resolve the issue promptly. I will never reside in any Island Palm Managed Property again and to all military families beware. read more

Well I clean up fixed thing that my kids did and I didn't have to pay any thing . So I would recommend living in older housing and don't tear the place up. Great customer service . I give only 4 stars because I think officer housing should be a lot better. One because they get way more money from officers . But other then that I would live off post unless u have pets because Oahu is very prejudice against pets and military. read more

I honestly have no negative feedback for you guys. Every time I call for questions or help, everyone is nice. The maintenance people are so quick!! I called for my garbage disposal to be fixed and they came within 30 minutes of the phone call ending. I was surprised when they came to the door ready to fix it. Very impressed, as well as thankful. I give you guys 5 stars!! No complaints here!! Aloha!! read more

I have NEVER witnessed such poor customer service in my life, they were very unconcerned about issues that i had with maintenance and seemingly unbothered about my wellbeing in their community. Not to mention other residents have had the same issues as I did with them as well. You're better staying off base read more

We moved out due to mold issues in our home. There was mold CAKED in our air ducts and coming out of all of our vents. There was also mold that kept growing back on our door frame in our laundry room. We had to move out ASAP because my 6 month old had a HORRIBLE cough when the AC was on. They had maintenance come out to "assess the issue." The guy looked at our AC unit and didn't even come into our home to look at our vents. He said "it just looks like normal dirt and dust." IPC then offered us a home on another base which we denied because my husband works all different hours and we specifically told them we wanted a home on schofield or wheeler (right across from schofield). They then offered an HVAC cleaning while we were at home which we denied because we didn't want the mold to go even more airborne and risk our 6 month old getting even more sick than he already was. We decided at this point, with how many people were having mold issues and have even done move overs and had the same issues, that we did not want to do a move over, so we started the process of finding and securing a place off base. After calling back and forth, IPC finally said that we can move out without giving a 28 day notice. We paid hundreds of dollars to move off post. My husband's command questioned why IPC Was not paying for our move because we moved out due to an issue on THEIR end. They still charged us $60 to shampoo the carpeting on our stairs, and a $98 pet treatment fee because we have a dog (they said those were standard move out fees). They also tried to charge us $30 for a second mailbox key THAT WE NEVER GOT. I had to call them and fight with them to get them to take the charge off. We have had mold issues in the past living off post and the apartments did not charge us for a DIME upon move out because it was an issue that was on THEIR END, AND they offered to pay for our move. PRIVATIZED HOUSING IS CROOKED. ESPECIALLY ISLAND PALM COMMUNITIES. We requested to be reimbursed for the move and were denied the request because they said that they offered us an HVAC cleaning which would "solve the issue." Come to find out, they're replacing the entire AC unit. I asked them why they lied to us and a RUDE and unprofessional woman who works for IPC said "I'm sorry we lied to you" and continued to tell me they will not reimburse us. So now we will be updating my husband's command and Garrison once more, and I will be writing a nice, long ICE complaint. Please I urge you, DO NOT RENT WITH IPC. THEY ARE HORRIBLE. We have also had issues with being charged for our energy usage while living here and have had other issues as well. 10/10 DO NOT recommend IPC. read more

Island Palm Communities - Mold in air ducts - Property Management Near Me - Schofield Barracks, Hawaii

Unfortunately the main leasing office in Schofield Barracks has disappointed me severeal times. The staff and management are rude, inquiries via email are answered late and are not helpful. Maybe I was just lucky everywhere else...Worst housing I ve ever seen. read more

Cheap materials were used to make the houses. We have had particular problems with resolving maintenance issues. It's near impossible to get someone on the phone for a maintenance issue. When maintenance is scheduled it's not very timely. One specific problem has been with the latch to our back gate breaking. Finally got an appointment scheduled and it was nearly two weeks in the future. We have two dogs. When we finally reached a person in the maintenance department we were told that securing our dogs was our problem. No help what so ever. read more

Really wish you could put zero stars that's how bad this company is. The only good thing to say about them is the maintenance workers are fairly decent. Island palms is a money greedy community with housing that absolutely sucks unless you are e-5 or above. We have dealt with mice twice and an abundance of bugs.. It's disgusting. There are literally fleas on the grassy areas that you can seriously watch jump on your dog. They don't communicate with you and when you leave voicemails they NEVER call back. We tried to put in a move over request to get off the 3rd floor apartment building when we had a newborn because there was no air in his bedroom it would constantly be 80 degrees or above. They wouldn't help us even in the slightest.. It's difficult and extremely inconvenient to carry a baby and groceries etc up 3 flights of stairs in the heat. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! read more

The WORST place to live. Maintenance is mostly late, and don't respond in time. I had a dry wall issue and the job took 20 sec, and the time reflected his poor quality. Half aced and not proficient. The trash is days late. I submitted a request for a minor fridge issue, an once the technician arrived, it wasn't his job to fix it and left. I'll be happy to leave as soon as I can from here. read more

The 1st time my family and I arrived in 2010, HMR housing community folk were so rude and mean and gave us a dirty house. We ended up moving to an apartment (were in town home 1st) and it was good after that. in 2011 we decided to move to Navy housing, but were charged all these ridiculous fees upon leaving by the same rude people. Fast forward to 2013, move back on HMR and I was pleasantly surprised at a new person that was very sweet and kind and took the time to help with a nice easy transition. I wish I could remember her name, but she was a very nice local woman. If it wasn't for her, it would be a 1 star. read more

IPC is a waste of money and dangerous for your health. Please beware! Long story short, we had horrible mold in the air conditioners that was making us sooooo sick including my 1 year old. It ruined my sons stuff, my furniture etc. I had to throw it all away. All IPC wanted to do was wipe it off the AC. Ridiculous!! I asked we move and the manager for wheeler was very rude and disrespectful. After a while they let us move. However we were not reimbursed for furniture, clothing, crib etc, no courtesy moving truck and thus is the kicker. Only 6 days to move ! Like come on. Also when u move, they try to find any and every little thing to charge you for. When I can I will upload pics of the condition of the house. It was spotless. However they charged us $400. I called corp about the situation and they let me to this rude guy named tony who I had to report as well. They said they would handle it and have someone call me and they end up calling Tony to fix the situation when he was a part of the situation. They are so unprofessional and rude and care nothing about the military families. All they care about this getting that BAH and charging the hell out of you when you move. Please beware! Don't say you weren't warned. You are better off living off post. Oh and the hot water rarely ever works. Spent 3 years taking Luke warm showers. Had to call maintenance almost everyday to fix it and all hey are not pleasant if you keep calling them. read more

By far the worse community I have ever lived in. Not only does most of the homes look completely disgusting but the office members in the north community center have the worse attitudes I ever come to know. There is a unprofessional ignorant case manager by the name of Vanessa who has to have the most disgusting behavior I've ever seen. They make it hard to complain against them, they lie & I really regret the day we signed our lease. You would think they would treat military families with respect but instead they treat they residents very poorly read more

This review is in regards to the South Region Office and its affiliates on AMR. "Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely." Lord Acton / IPC South Region I ward many incoming military personnel to stay far and clear of IPC, if this is your absolute last resort then anticipate a repugnant living environment. Read your contract in depth then throw it directly in the fire. That contract binds you to uphold their regulations but not for IPC to uphold their obligations. They are held to neither Hawaii state leasing code nor military housing manuals. Residents like myself have yet to find anyone too whom they answer. They are literally untouchable. IPC & the government are written in contract that they have no liability to anything in AMR. The dereliction of duty from IPC management is borderline criminal. You have issues or concerns? Call them directly or email them, but make no expectation for a response. Only time the office will call you is when they expect money. Go into their rarely open office and sit with them face to face; expect an unorthodox amount of excuses and you will leave with a psychological numbness from their endless diversions. (The statement below is not belittling the MP's here as they are doing exceptional things in these troubled times and as we know the military is underfunded and they are overworked. This is in regards to IPC's neglect towards its citizens.) Check crime data for AMR and you will see that all around it is red and orange with high crime; yet when IPC became privatized the crime statistics dissolved or so they wished it to appear. In fact AMR has an estimated 1 crime per day. Bless the family who had to go through this but we just recently had a murder in November and Intel states that ISIS intends to target military families and yet there is no increase in security protocol despite IPC having the funding to integrate gate guards. Only place you can access information about crime is through the Army's HI newspaper which of course is amended, so much for informing the public of potential security threats in their community. There are also people who are unauthorized to live within the residences and typically hold ill intent towards the community. Need a maintenance issue fixed, you will wait on average of 3 weeks. Brown decayed grassland and rubbish layer your neighborhood, they will give you grass seed and a trash bag, start working peasant. Items stolen from your vehicle or damage to your house, their offered renters insurance will not pay under any circumstances, the insurance company even emphasized your best interest is to purchase your own. Might I remind you this is a billion dollar industry. Steal from the poor and give to the rich is their motto. You may ask yourself, all this sounds terrible then why would people just no move out. Because you are bound by contract, you want to break the contract it will cost at minimum $6000; I say again at minimum $6000. I hope higher powers can help you find a safer and more respectable environment, but please steer clear of IPC. read more

Oh my GOD. Just no. Island Palms, especially the maintenance end of it, deserves a big, fat ZERO stars. The people who "work" here are careless, dis-honest and lazy... oh, and they're rude. We've never received the help we needed from them. We pay sooo much a month to live in this piece of garbage house. I can't wait to move out of here. If you're moving in... please, prepare yourself for the worst. Or move somewhere else! read more

We have lived on post with IPC for over a year now and honestly haven't had many good experiences....I cant really even think of one off the top of my head. It is very easy to find a home and move in but honestly that is just so they can get your money. We live in the older discounted homes and they decided to add these 6ft fences to all of the properties. Our house has a storm drain that runs through the back yard and anyone with any common sense can tell that the work they want to do will require more extensive renovations then most of the units. We have been wondering how they would accomplish it since we found out about the project. Now instead of giving us plenty of advance notice that we would need to move, which someone in this company knew was required, they decided to tell us we had to move at the last minute. We were told that we could work with them and figure out a move that works for both parties or they have the option to issue our written 45 day notice and force us to move anyways. So being in the military, I am fairly used to getting bad news and moving on as quickly as possible and trying to make the best of things. IPC offered to give us a check that would probably pay for the moving expenses (hopefully) and offered us several homes that simply weren't acceptable due to a variety of reasons. So I started the ball rolling by looking around for more housing options and I got lucky with the Navy housing who will give me a nicer home for a better price. Now that I have done as this company requested and found a new home to move into within the time frame that they wanted (less than a month) they are now telling me they will not cover the moving expenses that we are going to incur when they are forcing us out of the house. I was not happy about the forced move but I could understand why it was necessary and was doing what I could to meet their needs while ensuring my family is also taken care of because they were offering to cover the moving costs. But now they are trying to force us to move at our own expense while they say how much they appreciate the military and our service. Their argument is that why should they pay us to move to a house with another company but that is simply countered because they are forcing us to move due to a purely cosmetic renovation. We did not want to move nor did we ask to move. We were not given a choice. We would have been happy to stay where we are until we PCS but we were told that wasn't an option. Now my question is why on earth would I continue to give my money to a company who simply doesn't care about their tenants? I was told not to worry about the finance of the move but like most people in the military, money is a huge factor when uprooting your whole family with almost no notice plus all of the other things we have going on. Don't worry about the money? that's very easy when your not the one being forced to move. If this company gave us even 3 months notice that we would need to move, this wouldn't have been such a big deal. Instead they waited till the last minute during the most expensive part of the year for us and then tell us not to worry about the cost of moving.... Living on post here in Hawaii is convenient mostly due to the traffic getting to and from post. If you choose to live on post then I HIGHLY recommend you talk to the Navy housing first. They have a lot of options with better prices than IPC and while I'm sure they have some problems as well, I know far more people who have had horrible experiences with IPC then with Navy housing. IPC has definitely reminded me why I always avoided Army Housing and it will be extremely unlikely to ever live on post again. read more

IPC has been a huge disappointment. We lived for one year on Ft. Shafter, in a house that was in constant disrepair. Maintenance was always backed up and it regularly took two weeks to get an appointment. Upon moving out, we left the house immaculately clean, but forgot to self-clean the inside of the oven. They charged us $50 for this! Absolutely ridiculous. When we complained about the exorbitant fee, they sent some standard response, refusing to waive the fee, without any regard for our efforts in the rest of the house. Not to mention the house was NOT clean when we moved in! There is no care or concern for the Soldier and their family. They are all about money and nickel-and-diming. They charge a $75 "Pet Registration" fee upon moving in, and upon moving out charge a $98 mandatory de-flea fee, just for having a pet at all. Companies that deal with Military families should not be just about the bottom line, they should have a interest in the wellbeing of the families. These people clearly only care about money. Don't even get me started on the astronomical amount of money we paid to live in a broken down home in a terrible part of town. I DO NOT recommend living on Ft. Shafter or dealing with Island Palms Communities. read more

We lived in Island Palms Communities for two years. While living there we didn't have any problems with staff, maintenance or other employees. Any dealings we had with the office went smoothly. All the employees were always friendly and professional....if I were rating only the office staff and/or maintenance I would give them a 5 star rating. We even cleared housing with no charges. However, we lived in the apartment style housing and we could constantly hear everything our neighbors were doing. It was to the point that sometimes even trying to sleep became an impossibility. We kept our A/C on 24/7 and also bought a box fan to try to drown out the noises and it was of little help. Luckily most of our neighbors were pretty understanding when we asked them to quiet down. But there is little to no insulation between units, I assume since it's Hawaii there is little need for insulation. So the noise transfer is crazy. In your bathroom be prepared to hear EVERYTHING and also if your neighbors are just talking on their back balconies/porches you are probably going to hear every word. The apartment style houses are pretty large for two bedrooms, you have outside storage which is also handy. If the cost of living wasn't so high in Hawaii I would have chosen to live off base, however the larger housing for bigger families seems really nice and I am not sure if they have to deal with the noise transfer that we did. Again if I were rating the staff I would given them a 5 star rating, the housing though I would only give a 2 star rating. I decided to meet in the middle at 3 stars. It's not the worst place in the world but I have lived in a lot better too. read more

I just had John, and Justin come to my house to fix a lot: screen door, sliding door, the floor backboards and patch up some holes that werr chewed up. They were awesome! They took their time with everything, made sure everything worked before putting it back together. They were extremely polite, new what they were doing, and actually were more concerned that the work was to get done, rather like many. Before starting work they let me know what needed to be done, let me knew what we wpuld be charged for, and when they didnt have the part instead of rescheduling they went to get it, 5 mins later they came back and started. I highly recommend these two! You won't be disappointed in their work! read more

Horrible property management gorup. The only redeeming aspect is actually getting the house that we wanted. Once in the house, it felt like we were in inconvenience to them even though i am paying over 3 grand a month to live here. I have had so many problems with the house to only have maintenence come look at it and leave. Oh, the is water coming through the floor on the second level in the middle of the room, it's coming from the window unit A/C bye we are not going to doing anything else. Good luck getting maintenence to the house in the first place. If it's not an emergency you probably wont see maintenance at all. You can't have anything in the carport at all. The garbage and recycle pickup are always late, and given the answer that they will be here tomorrow. Yes, they prorate the rent for the time you move in the month, but it is still the majority of the BAH. There is alot more, but im not going tovwrite a ten page review. If given the opportunity, to live here again, i would run away as fast as i could. read more

Currently dealing with Island Palms claiming to fine and ticket me for having dogs that LOOK like a banned breed on post. I have vet papers that state otherwise, and they have been registered for almost a year. My dogs hardly if ever bark unless provoked, there's no way we've had a report against us in the past 2-3 months at minimum, yet they come to my door with DOD civilian police (claiming they're military police) completely out of the blue. They're obviously biased towards higher ranked spouses, and treat the older apartments like crap while glorifying the newer apartments. They're also unafraid to overcharge your rent while charging other people in nicer apartments less. I was on the move over list for 5 months and moved 10 spots, from 158 to 148, and was removed without my knowledge over the weekend. This place is ridiculous and makes me hate living here. You're better off looking for a place offpost. read more

If you live in new housing built since 2007 then 3 stars, but even that is debatable. The new housing is nice, but not very well cared for, particularly by the tenants themselves. If you live in the older housing, wow, maybe 1 star at best. The lawn care is mediocre, and if you do your own lawn care you will not receive a discount. Appliances are just as old as the house and do not work very well. We have what we call a "Frankenstove" because it is made up of at least a couple of different old stoves put together. I am pretty sure the stove is a fire hazard. The dishwasher leaks frequently and the countertops in the kitchen are severely chipped, cracked, and falling apart on the sides. When we moved in there were burned-out electrical sockets. When we asked for them to be replaced, someone came out and "looked" at them and said they were fine; probably another fire hazard, so I replaced them myself for about $10. The air conditioners are window boxes, which is fine, except that both of them leak water into the house and neither of them are large enough BTU to actually cool the house on a hot summer day. We were able to get one of the boxes replaced after call four times for it to be repaired, but the "new" box was older than the old box, and when it was being replaced we ended up with a hole in our wall that was simply patched with glue and a piece of cloth and then painted over, so now it is a soft spot. Long story short, I feel bad for the people that work at IPC and have to hear from the residents about the lack of care put into the housing. Everything about this place is substandard. read more

OK Island Palm community stinks do not move their. So I had to call for Maintenance to help several times and it would take them 2 to 3 weeks to come out to fix what I called about. So today I had direct TV come out to my house to set up a dish. The only place that could get signal was in front yard. The DirecTV person told me that island palm community doesn't let people set up the dishes even if that's the only location I get signal. As y'all all know when you call Island Park community don't answer the phone I called like four times. So I decided to drive to the Housing office to talk to a representative. I asked the representative if I could put the dish in the front yard the lady said no. So representative also said that we can't have the satellites because it's not ascetically pleasing to the eye and it's a safety hazard because a little children. Well I know if the policy or regulation for children on post if there 1 day under 10 they have to be supervised outside by the parent. So I told her I would palm can't be held liable if his neglect on the parent for not being out there with their child if there one day 10. Later that day I called Tony Hintz who is the community manager over all of housing communities offices. Mr. hintz told me that having satellite dishes in the front yard looks ghetto and trashy. it's not pretty and that's why people who want to go to dish to get an fordable television and Internet can't have it.
