My boyfriend and i came here last month for a weekend getaway, i wanted to do a surprise massage…read morefor him, this place a little cheaper than the other local salon. I would give the spa 5 stars because overall our experience there was great, they let me set up an appointment on sunday, where they are normally closed. We had Kenny and his wife do our massges and from what me and my boyfriend concluded, they were great massages and they were very professional. i dont like talking during my massages and from what my boyfriend said and what Kenny did for me they were very focused into the massage and not chatty. they both did some work with hot stones and it was a first and they were a nice surprise and felt great. the only thing i had a little issue was when i first tried scheduling the appointment, the week before coming to San Juans, the first lady i talked to wasnt the spa director but she was very nice and gave me as much information as she could until the spa director herself would be able to get in touch with me. I didnt get a call back that day so i had to call again the next day, where i couldnt get a hold of the salon after multiple calls until i left a message. the director was helpful in the information she gave me but she did seem to be rushing me trying to get my appointment down and my information, so that was little odd for me.

I was here with my sisters wedding...Shawna for hair and Annette for make up are amazing. Dana runs…read morethe place, but the quality of her work was not nearly that of Shawna for updos. All the bridesmaids but one had Shawna do her hair, and Shawna ended up having to fix the maid who didn't have Shawna do it originally. The vibe went downhill when the bridesmaid whose hair Dana did required an overhaul. Dana became openly hostile and the Bride was really upset with the behavior because it made everyone feel tense and took away from the fun of the day because having to fix the hair caused us to be really late for pictures. Several of the bridesmaids commented on Dana's attitude and her lack of customer service. Shawna and Annette did a fantastic job and the results are amazing! Annette came over to the wedding venue to do touch ups for the Bridal party. The spa facility is nice, plush and comfortable but not overdone.

She is excellent at her craft and also truly a very nice person. My one hour treatment was fabulous and I booked another one next month. This will be my monthly treat. The spa staff is very nice as well. The reception desk was staffed by another friendly lady (Josie I think?) who gave me a tour. Very clean spa- rooms are quiet, lighting is nice, tea/infused water in waiting room. They have a membership program we are considering for future discounts. Overall I highly recommend this spa!

Well, due to COVID this place is out of business. The timing was fishy because she closed down right as they were allowed to reopen. The worst part is she kept everyone's money. I had just bought a tanning package for around 150 bucks and only got to use a couple tans. She never reached out to her loyal customers to tell them she was closing up. She still hasn't even posted anything on the salon door or updated her website. She did manage to disconnect the phone number though. And she kept my money with no offer of a refund. It seems she never really appreciated my business after all.

Coming on here because I need to RAVE about the fantastic haircut I got from Kelee. I've rocked…read morelong hair all my life, but i this summer I was tempted to the bob side. Understandably I was nervous, but Kelee took so much time to make sure this cut was PERFECT. I have received so many comments from friends, family and strangers asked how the blunt bob is so uniform, and I just have to tell them that my Studio 29 hairdresser took her time, made me turn my head a hundred ways to get the truly perfect cut.

Scheduling with Lindsey was such an easy process and I was just so grateful that she was able to fit me into her schedule especially when everyone else in town was fully booked for weeks during the holiday season. From the moment I walked in, I was kindly greeted and Lindsey was prompt and friendly too! During the hair cut, she was attentive/ such a great conversationalist and has a great eye for detail. She framed my face perfectly and took her time to make sure that I received the perfect hair cut. In the end, the hair cut was better than any haircut I've had in the past. Not to mention that I've been getting compliments on my haircut from everyone I have ran into. Definitely recommending Lindsey to everyone!!! Officially found my go to hairdresser!

I was in Burlington for the morning anyway and knew it was impossible to find an opening at a Bellingham salon on a Friday. I booked an appt the night before through vagaro.com, which was really handy! This place is lovely, nicely laid out, and busy but organized. I got a wonderful shampoo, haircut, and style from Julie, who took lots of time looking at photos and making sure she knew just what I wanted. Someone passed out chocolate chip cookies which were delicious! The feel of the salon is professional and sleek but also relaxed and fun, and all their products smell amazing. My one very small complaint (and feedback to the owner) is that there is a subtle smell of old urine in the salon. I recognized it from my days working in an assisted living facility, and then realized that most of the other clients were elderly women. I think the odor of someone's incontinence may have seeped it's way into a chair or two! DON"T let this prevent you from going to the salon though. It was a great experience, I got a great cut, and it didn't break the bank like a haircut in Bellingham would! Highly recommended and will definitely go back!
