I was shocked to see some of the bad reviews here. First of all I have to say that the Cocoon has…read moresaved my life. I discovered it at the Stanwood location when I walked in for the first time after getting an IV for vitamin C at the business next door. IVs are much more expensive in helping combat Epstein-Barr virus than the Cocoon. I never heard of the Cocoon before and read up about it after this. It has been a miracle after years of being debilitated with this relentless virus that I have not been able to keep at bay due to the cost of high-dose vitamin C IVs which I was supposed to be doing weekly. So the part that shocked me is that I ended up at this location several times and was beyond impressed with a girl working there, Kasiah. Not sure if I spelled that right but this was on the weekends toward the later day and she is one of the most personable people I've ever encountered in retail. She is extremely engaging, informed (beyond most of the others that I had dealt with), patient and accommodating. She went above and beyond to get me extra information and check into my account where I kept being told one thing and then it ended up being another and something wasn't included that they originally said was and they kept changing their stories. In my opinion Kasiah should be training the other girls on good customer service and just appearing to care. I have to also say that I have been to this location when other people had worked there and was not impressed. I wasn't even sure if the Cocoon had been cleaned and some other girl working there wasn't sure either but thought maybe it was. This was not the most reassuring answer! If I go to this location I try to make sure that it's only when Kasiah is working there.

Unlike many others I've been to which may or may not leave you feeling sticky... :P ;) Clean and a modern aesthetic. Very calm vibe... music is always great and on a rotation! Country, to Hawaiian reggae, to classic rock and everything in between. Now to the good stuff: The tanning beds are all luxury and KBL. Red light is incredible and definitely works. The staff: the FRIENDLIEST staff . So very very helpful and always willing to go above and beyond! All the girls are total dolls and don't just zone out on their phones but rather engage with customers and make you feel very welcomed. Willing to answer any question too!!! For reference - This is unlike many tanning salons, where the girls are usually distracted, seem bothered when you ask them questions about services, and are generally just kind of rude. NOT HERE! Actually warm and friendly women. Products: honestly... They stock some of the best items for Tanning/red light therapy in the industry and most are top sellers and are all backed up by science and research. Varying degrees of prices for products for everyone's budget. But sometimes... You get what you pay for! Meaning the more expensive tanning lotions are priced such as they are loaded with skincare ingredients, skin, tightening ingredients, etc., etc. (That's just my personal experience and take on things.) Overall, I recommend this place to anyone looking for a little pick me up, to relax and get a little me time. Check out the massage chairs ;)

During my last visit on the 29th of September I was tired after a very long week of working for Amazon and left a very sentimental ring, in plain site of someone cleaning the room, as they are supposed to after every visit. After frantically calling three or four times, I was told the ring was no where to be found. I understand the lost items policy and luckily, the ring has since been replaced, as much as possible. However, even though I am writing this review on the 10th of October, I was still charged for the account. Not looking to be refunded for the ring, but at least my account, seeing the circumstance as to why I have not visited since. While the beds were above quality during my visits, the honesty of the staff is simply below. My apologies for the lengthy review and for those that did read, please take into consideration.

This time around I was interested in red light therapy, which I had heard about recently. I called ahead and spoke with Katelyn who was so incredibly helpful and answered all my questions regarding benefits of red light therapy, pricing, the various specials that they had going on, as well as general information. Red Light therapy is similar to tanning and that you are lying in the bed and that you need goggles. It also does get hot in the bed after being in there a while. They do have fans if you want to use them, but I prefer not to and it's just a quick easy button in the bed that you can push to turn it on or off. Thanks to Katelyn's directions I was able to find this location quite easily (it is across the street from the PCC and Starbucks. Across Edmonds Way near Bucatini). They've got a large parking lot with easy parking and it was in a building that kind of reminded me a bit of like an old German building or a ski lodge. Little bit hard to explain, but once you see the building, you'll probably understand what I mean. Very cute! Getting in and out of the parking lot is also quite easy. The tanning salon itself is nice and clean, and it seems like most of the staff are known to be very helpful and friendly, but I was really blessed that I called on Katelyn's shift who went above and beyond for me. If you are interested in red light therapy (or tanning) I would definitely check it out here. Especially because right now they have a great deal going on where you can get unlimited red light therapy for a month for only $39. I believe the price for an individual session is 25 so for just a few dollars more you get to try it out for an entire month!!! of course that special is happening now and I don't know if it will be happening when you read this review. But I would definitely recommend checking it out (or at least giving them a call to ask more information) and of course don't forget to bring your goggles!

She was even more rude and knowing that she is the supervisor or manager, she still wanted to be passive assertive so I kindly walked out of there. I won't be back under her watch.
