I just read the review from Gus and was taken aback somewhat. I've been a regular customer of Perfect Tan for a few years and have only good things to say about both Abbotsford locations. The staff are great to deal with and very pleasant. They are also very knowledgeable about the whole spray tanning process. I started my spray tan experience when in Miami and also had it done in New York. At those places, and some around the Fraser Valley, staff actually spray the tan on you. Uh...no thanks. I'll go that route when I need to but prefer, by far, an easy-to-use spray tan booth that gives the same results without having to stand half-naked in front of a stranger. And I've tried the self-tanning creams too. Try getting the crevice in your middle to upper back region if you aren't a Cirque du Soleil contortionist. As for price, I have nothing to complain about. Last month, I saw that Perfect Tan had spray tan packages on sale. When I was told that the sessions don't expire, I decided to buy a few packages to save even more. And currently, Perfect Tan has days when spray tans are half price. Lastly, and the reason I'm on here now...I recently had an experience with Lisa, the owner, where she went above and beyond in her attempt to provide me with top notch customer service. Well I have been to both locations and the Sumas location and as great always professional and really friendly staff. But this one was a hassle for me to go to. First off I found their tanning packages way over priced and not worth it, yes they do have great beds but I can get just as good as a tan in a less elaborate bed, I am very careful when I start tanning to avoid burns and was surprised when the girl almost doubled the time I thought I was in there to long and stepped out and yes she did so I ended up with a burn, not happy about that. And lastly I was sick of booking beds showing up on time and then giving my booked bed to walk ins, once while I was waiting in line to check in they gave my booked bed to a walk in right ahead of me in line that time I waiting 20 minutes for my booked bed, I always had to wait and the reason I would book it is so I could get in and out quick as I had a friend quickly babysit for my tanning sessions. And I found the staff at this location to be snobby. This was a awhile ago maybe it's better now I will not be going back to this location to find out. I quit using tanning beds as many others have and just had a quick look at their prices and it's pretty ridiculous that they charge such high prices for a service that's dying out, I do self tan and was thinking about going to Sumas location for that but $50 a spray tan is not worth it I've done it before and I have to go weekly and that's $200 a month for their spray tan is way to much in my opinion and than having them try to sell you their tan extenders ect it adds up to a big money waste. I'm not cheap I just find it overpriced I've tanned in many places in my life and this was the worst for service and pricing. read more
