I frantically combed google and I'm SO thankful i found her. She came in to work late at night to get my removal going, which i appreciate forever. It took 3 rounds to get the insane amount of ink out of me but we did it!! She has since re-done my brows utilizing a combination method (i am a victim of the 90's-00 brows, i have like no hair!) and they are perfect. PERFECT. (Her usual initial price is high, but fills are much cheaper. Spend the money.) I drove all the way from Surrey to Abbotsford to try her lashes, and I LOVE them! I don't mind driving all the way back for fills every 3-4 weeks :) I'd had my lashes done at Noir Lash Lounge before, and they looked nice, but if you accidently rubbed your eye or slept on your side, they would stab you in the eye. And they didn't last nearly as long. Lesson learned : Spend the money and get them done right! They look and feel way nicer, and last longer! (AND I don't have to sleep on my back with the fear of having my eyes poked.)

I had my eyebrows done a couple of years ago by Jaclyn (met her thru a client referral) but have since relocated to another major city outside of BC. Unfortunately, after much digging-but needing to have them done again-I couldn't find anyone in my new city that was on par with her work and price point (not to say local artists were not good, but unfortunately I did not find work to be as natural or detailed as had been done by Jaclyn) so I attempted to schedule something in for when I knew I'd be next in Vancouver and much to my delight I was able to book an apt during my holiday travels. I'm so glad I did! Jaclyn went above and beyond to accommodate me and to say I was 'beyond grateful' would be an understatement in the fullest sense of the word. Jaclyns' naturally soft and gentle demeanour makes any trip to her office very comfortable and relaxing (a gem in this crazy fast paced world) yet she's extremely knowledgeable and powerful in her work (I later learned that art work shown on studio website are her own but just another testament of the craftsmanship and attention to detail she possesses). Her price point is excellent and very competitive. I had done my homework on higher end boutiques, even in my new city (sometimes I think the more expensive something is the better quality it will be, but not always the case and this is a prime example)-however, most were a third to double more in price, yet even then I was not satisfied as with my original work with Jaclyn. Eyebrow makeup can very quickly go from artificial looking to dead on looking like a stencilled tattoo. I wanted mine as extremely natural as possible. Jaclyn achieved this second time in a row. It is the place where if you wear your pj pants to your appointment you would get genuine compliments - because you are likely nourishing yourself and slowing down enough to take care of you. The products are high end. The attention to detail doesn't overwhelm the experience but it enhances the ability to do nothing but be yourself. 90 min facial and foot scrub felt like a reset. I wish I lived closer. I will definitely be coming back. And- with friends. Because this place could handle a bunch of school counselors with deep giggles and high schooler jokes.
