I enjoy my time at the spa. I've been to several day spas all over and I would call Wild Orange Spa an average establishment. I go to day spas with the knowledge that the service is much more involved than that of a lash bar, nail salon or massage parlor. With that knowledge, the prices and minimum standards I have are much higher. The not-so-good: When you first enter the building, it's nice but in my opinion a little too chaotic. It's been my experience that the reception area usually flows very well. My first visit, I walked in and there were several people waiting in line to pay. I browsed around the entrance and they have several things for sale, lotions, hair stuff and whatnot. It was a little odd to me that there were two or three stands displaying products that were kind of in the middle of nowhere. It seemed like things were located upstairs. I wasn't greeted (again, the front desk person was helping other people) but I just decided to go upstairs where there is another area to check-in for spa services. The good: 1. When I went in to the upstairs spa check-in area, the environment completely changed into something more relaxing. 2. The lounge is equipped with snacks and drinks with a TV on mute. 3. The shower area is also pretty nice. The system is pretty typical, get changed, climb into a robe, leave your belongings in the locker. Two changing rooms are available 4. There is a steam room which was great and also two over-sized showers with MorocconOil products (side note, I love that styling cream, I'm probably going to be a Kerastase convert) 5. For after care there is spray deodorant, a blow dryer, some hair products, hair elastics. The only think missing was brushes/combs (many places have two containers, one for clean and one for used brushes/combs) Miscellaneous tips: Beyond that the location is good, it's very easy to find. I must have picked a perfect time to go because I had absolutely no difficulties finding parking. The parking lot was actually pretty empty. It's probably a good idea to get there early so you can use the steam room and take your time getting ready. I would say at absolute minimum, you should probably arrive 15 minutes early. After my body-treatment, I took my time getting ready so I ended up being there for about 2 hours, half the time I was in the lounge and it was relaxing. The overall experience was good and I would most definitely return in the future to try out more of their services. read more

Prepare to be pampered. What says luxury more than complimentary robes, sandals, beverages, snackies? Also use of steam room and rain showers. I had my eyebrows done here and they did a great job. Very friendly, professional staff. read more

SORRY BUT WORST PEDICURE EVER AND I HATE THE WAY MY BROW WAX TURNED OUT! I was nice to the girl but she had no clue what she was doing. Advice... Put the polish just on the nails!!! The person taking my money at the desk clearly knew i was not happy but instead chose to ignore the fact i was upset and giggled to the girl that did my service about something. What a joke. I have gone to Wild Orange on numerous occasions, for massages, facials, mud baths, body wraps and more. I have always been treated in the most respectful and friendly manner when going to Wild Orange. The staff are polite, welcoming and contribute to the relaxing atmosphere. I have found the spa to be very clean, decorated beautifully, and well-equipped. The only thing I might suggest is that they make it more clear as to how to turn on the steam room if it's gone out. There is no other spa in the area I'd rather go to! read more

I have had many manis and pedis at many different places over the years. I have been to expensive spas and to not-so expensive places. I had NEVER had a bad experience until I went to the Wild Orange Spa. After spending over $130 at this spa, I had to have the finger nail gel polish removed because it was such a mess. I left the spa with my finger nails and cuticles and skin around the nails looking worse than when I had come into the spa! And the pedicure was just as bad. A different girl (and I say "girl" because everyone appears to be very young working at this establishment), did my pedicure and so I thought it would be better. It was worse. I asked to speak to a manager and I was told no one was available. I called the spa twice the following two days and asked to speak to the owner. I was told she was not available and was put through to voicemail. I left two very polite messages asking her to call me. She never did. As I think about it now, I wonder if the staff are all very young for the following reason: Perhaps management only hires girls that are fresh out of training and have little to no experience and therefore management doesn't have to pay them very much. And it would then follow that the staff are not treated well by management and so when the new staff have some experience, they leave to work elsewhere. And then management just keeps hiring new, inexperienced staff. Whatever the reason, this is the worst spa experience I have ever had. BTW - if you continue reading below on this YELP page, you will see many more reviews for this spa and they are ALL negative. You must look for light-grey letters that state: "15 other reviews that are not currently recommended", and click on that. These negative reviews are somewhat hidden and are not obvious when you first look at the reviews for this spa. If they were more obvious, it would help - so that more people would know not to waste their money and time at this establishment. read more

I've been going to this spa since 2008, and initially found it on a whim. I have had several services here: massage, waxing, mani/pedi, facials etc. Every single one is well-done, and I've never met any other place that does similar services with the same level of quality and attention to detail. Even when I moved out of Abbotsford I kept coming back here whenever I could. All the aestheticians and auxillary staff are highly professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I've never had a bad aesthetician provide me service here. For example, after massages they always incorporate a warm cloth to wipe off the areas where they used lotions and oils. The rooms are always calmly lit. The waiting area is soothing with snacks, water/tea and there are lockers + showers + steam room in the private changing area. As far as cost goes, it is reasonably priced; it is on the higher end of what you would get at an average spa, but certainly within reason especially considering the quality and professionalism you get with every service. In short, this place is my favourite spa for all things spa. I am ALWAYS relaxed after leaving this place, I just wish I lived closer. read more

I've been here a couple times. The staff push products on to you like crazy, feels like they don't really care about their clients except for making money. Some of the staff members are very rude and never on time with appointments and don't have much knowledge on the products that they sell. I always have to wait. BIG disappointment. This was the part of my birthday Id rather forget. Finding parking was terrible. We were on time but the receptionist behaved as though it was a huge inconvenience we were not there earlier. Very rude. I was expecting that as I had read some other reviews. Wild Orange is decorated nicely but they should be on top of the dust. Spa Service wasnt anything special. Receptionist was rude in her tone. The therapist I had did not want to be there. It was funny but very unprofessional of her asking me if my employer was hiring. The massage was very choppy and not relaxing at all. And there was barely any oil being used. The pedicure was not as bad but still... you get way more at the other spas in town. She nicked my cuticle and did not even apologize , thinking I didnt notice. The atmosphere was also very dull. I had never been to The Wild Orange prior to this experience and I won't return. How in the world can they be in the business of relaxation and cause stress instead? I was given a $300 gift certificate for my birthday. I'd hoped to book a blissful day of treatments. Not enough privacy, and received horrible service. The people performing the services were friendly, but didn't appear professional .I must have waited before being knowledged at least 20 minutes. Reception areawas completely empty, seemed to be very short staff, for such a big spa.I had a body massage, facial and a mani pedi. The body massage wasn' good, the therapist only did a bit of massage and spent most of the time stretching my legs/arms. That was a compelte waste of time. My facial was a joke.... for my *supposedly* deep hydrating facial, the estetician was virtually absent, expect for shaking my hand and then saying "we are done". She disappeared for 17 minutes and couldn't operate the facial equiptment. For my mani pedi, I was seated on raised chair and put my feet in this individual pedicure spa which I liked but the pedi itself was done haphazardly. I think the staff person was so tired she apply two coats of polish to one foot and one coat to the other. For the amount of money, I was truly disappointed and would not recommend this spa. read more
