I was greeted by a very young girl,(with acne) not her fault. But looked to be in the young teens…read more I asked her how long she had been doing hair colour. She told me she's been doing it for a while. Which didn't tell me anything. I told her I wanted to see her colour chart she had chosen and did want me to see it and said she matched my hair colour. Then a guy came along and ask me to fill out a form that was two pages long and sign it. Wtf. Even wanted to know my allergies. I told him I would've mentioned if I was allergic to any hair colour because this wasn't my first rodeo. Plus wanted more personal info and wanted me to sign my name! All I wanted was to touch up my roots! Well at this point it was too late in the day to find another salon so I signed the damn form. She took almost 45 min. to apply the colour and I have short hair!! She took me to rinsed my hair and filled my ears (both sides) with water several times and By that time I just wanted to walk out. Not even asking me if I needed a Q-tip or towel. She took me back to the chair and asked me if I wanted any product in my hair. I told her no. Then she asked how I want my hair styled with the hair dryer. I told her I would like to do it myself. Then she said in her high teenage voice No! I'm not comfortable that you use my equipment. So, I said did I hear you right? Then her boss said that it was a liability issue. I told her I would take full responsibility in drying my own hair. She said no. I said so you're just going to let me walk out of here with wet hair? And she said that's your choice. So I went to pay and they tried to charged me more than what was quoted to me! I said no! I'm paying. What I was quoted And left! Two frikken hours of of sarcastic behaviour from an unexperienced teenager! Definitely not respectful to seniors!

First impressions when I walked inside is that I felt very welcomed. I was greeted right away,…read moreseveral staff members made eye contact smiling at me and saying hello. Warm and friendly and inviting! Alexa, who was to cut my hair, was very friendly, communicating with me about what I wanted and had a great personality. She took her time, was thorough and the end result was a perfect cut! I read other reviews about this place, mostly really good and now would tell anyone not to believe the negative. The business was well run, great team and lovely interior. Plus they had little extra touches like scalp massage before the shampoo, relaxing you from the start. I would definitely recommend and return.

Great quality spa all round but don't ever be late for an appointment anytime. even if you call…read morethey'll promise you your then offer for you to wait two hours for the next available time slot. All whilst the staff whisper and gossip about you as though you can't hear them in the waiting area.

I enjoy my time at the spa. I've been to several day spas all over and I would call Wild Orange…read moreSpa an average establishment. I go to day spas with the knowledge that the service is much more involved than that of a lash bar, nail salon or massage parlor. With that knowledge, the prices and minimum standards I have are much higher. The not-so-good: When you first enter the building, it's nice but in my opinion a little too chaotic. It's been my experience that the reception area usually flows very well. My first visit, I walked in and there were several people waiting in line to pay. I browsed around the entrance and they have several things for sale, lotions, hair stuff and whatnot. It was a little odd to me that there were two or three stands displaying products that were kind of in the middle of nowhere. It seemed like things were located upstairs. I wasn't greeted (again, the front desk person was helping other people) but I just decided to go upstairs where there is another area to check-in for spa services. The good: 1. When I went in to the upstairs spa check-in area, the environment completely changed into something more relaxing. 2. The lounge is equipped with snacks and drinks with a TV on mute. 3. The shower area is also pretty nice. The system is pretty typical, get changed, climb into a robe, leave your belongings in the locker. Two changing rooms are available 4. There is a steam room which was great and also two over-sized showers with MorocconOil products (side note, I love that styling cream, I'm probably going to be a Kerastase convert) 5. For after care there is spray deodorant, a blow dryer, some hair products, hair elastics. The only think missing was brushes/combs (many places have two containers, one for clean and one for used brushes/combs) Miscellaneous tips: Beyond that the location is good, it's very easy to find. I must have picked a perfect time to go because I had absolutely no difficulties finding parking. The parking lot was actually pretty empty. It's probably a good idea to get there early so you can use the steam room and take your time getting ready. I would say at absolute minimum, you should probably arrive 15 minutes early. After my body-treatment, I took my time getting ready so I ended up being there for about 2 hours, half the time I was in the lounge and it was relaxing. The overall experience was good and I would most definitely return in the future to try out more of their services.
