But this time, after paying the same amount, the barber suddenly started arguing with me loudly in front of everyone. He disrespected me and told me, "If you're a loser, go somewhere else," and demanded $30 plus tip -- totaling $33. This kind of treatment is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Prices should be clear from the beginning, and no customer deserves to be embarrassed or insulted. I won't be coming back and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who values basic respect.

Warm and friendly and inviting! Alexa, who was to cut my hair, was very friendly, communicating with me about what I wanted and had a great personality. The business was well run, great team and lovely interior. Plus they had little extra touches like scalp massage before the shampoo, relaxing you from the start. I would definitely recommend and return.

She told me she's been doing it for a while. Which didn't tell me anything. I told her I wanted to see her colour chart she had chosen and did want me to see it and said she matched my hair colour. Then a guy came along and ask me to fill out a form that was two pages long and sign it. Wtf. Even wanted to know my allergies. I told him I would've mentioned if I was allergic to any hair colour because this wasn't my first rodeo. Plus wanted more personal info and wanted me to sign my name! All I wanted was to touch up my roots! Well at this point it was too late in the day to find another salon so I signed the damn form. She took almost 45 min. to apply the colour and I have short hair!! She took me to rinsed my hair and filled my ears (both sides) with water several times and By that time I just wanted to walk out. Not even asking me if I needed a Q-tip or towel. She took me back to the chair and asked me if I wanted any product in my hair. I told her no. Then she asked how I want my hair styled with the hair dryer. I told her I would like to do it myself. Then she said in her high teenage voice No! I'm not comfortable that you use my equipment. So, I said did I hear you right? Then her boss said that it was a liability issue. I told her I would take full responsibility in drying my own hair. She said no. I said so you're just going to let me walk out of here with wet hair? And she said that's your choice. So I went to pay and they tried to charged me more than what was quoted to me! I said no! I'm paying. What I was quoted And left! Two frikken hours of of sarcastic behaviour from an unexperienced teenager! Definitely not respectful to seniors!

I was looking for a new hair stylist in the Ridge Meadows area and was pleasantly surprised to find…read moreMoz Hair Studio. I have really fine hair and it is extremely difficult for most stylists to cut properly. I checked out their Facebook Page and liked the pics of the styles, they had done for other clients and was quite impressed. Also I saw a comment on the page from a prospective client asking whom could do the best make over for someone. The answer that was given was anyone in the studio could do it without a problem. I thought was a really cool answer because none of the hair salons I have been to in the past could say the same. I called Moz and spoke with Cynthia and she assured me that she could cut, style and colour my hair without a problem and that she had a lot of experience with fine hair. On the day of my appointment, I was 10 minutes early and I spoke with Gail at the desk and she asked me to have a seat and went to get Cynthia for me. The hair salon itself is very clean, which is a big thing for me. All of the other stylists seemed to be enjoying themselves as they worked. They also 100% recycle all of the product packaging that they use in their salon, which is another important thing for me. Cynthia introduced herself and sat me in her chair. I told her, I needed a change, but not sure what, so I let her create a style for me. I was really pleased with the result and it was quite eye catching. Thanks Moz!
