I heard about her through a wedding show, and liked the business on Facebook, and heard about a wicked deal that I couldn't pass up! (Her usual initial price is high, but fills are much cheaper. Spend the money.) I drove all the way from Surrey to Abbotsford to try her lashes, and I LOVE them! I don't mind driving all the way back for fills every 3-4 weeks :) I'd had my lashes done at Noir Lash Lounge before, and they looked nice, but if you accidently rubbed your eye or slept on your side, they would stab you in the eye. And they didn't last nearly as long. Lesson learned : Spend the money and get them done right! They look and feel way nicer, and last longer! I'm not one to review much but as I had spent countless hours looking for the right place/person, I opted to post my two cents (more like 5 given the length! My apologies) but just in case this may help someone avoid time searching as I had. I had my eyebrows done a couple of years ago by Jaclyn (met her thru a client referral) but have since relocated to another major city outside of BC. Unfortunately, after much digging-but needing to have them done again-I couldn't find anyone in my new city that was on par with her work and price point (not to say local artists were not good, but unfortunately I did not find work to be as natural or detailed as had been done by Jaclyn) so I attempted to schedule something in for when I knew I'd be next in Vancouver and much to my delight I was able to book an apt during my holiday travels. I'm so glad I did! Jaclyn went above and beyond to accommodate me and to say I was 'beyond grateful' would be an understatement in the fullest sense of the word. Jaclyns' naturally soft and gentle demeanour makes any trip to her office very comfortable and relaxing (a gem in this crazy fast paced world) yet she's extremely knowledgeable and powerful in her work (I later learned that art work shown on studio website are her own but just another testament of the craftsmanship and attention to detail she possesses). Her price point is excellent and very competitive. I had done my homework on higher end boutiques, even in my new city (sometimes I think the more expensive something is the better quality it will be, but not always the case and this is a prime example)-however, most were a third to double more in price, yet even then I was not satisfied as with my original work with Jaclyn. Eyebrow makeup can very quickly go from artificial looking to dead on looking like a stencilled tattoo. I wanted mine as extremely natural as possible. Jaclyn achieved this second time in a row. She's a phenomenal artist, worth every penny, and definitely one to consider if you're searching for these services. 10 stars if I could read more

I had heard about microblading a number of months back. After much research I decided it was something that would fit in my lifestyle (as most often than not I found myself rushing out the door with lipstick as being the sole winner in the big draw as to who makes it out of the makeup box) . After setting up my apt with Jaclyn, I must confess I went in rather intimidated by such a procedure and had very high expectations (anything that goes on the face on even a semi-permanent basis deserves the utmost respect!) but she not only apeased all my fears and concerns but also her skills surpassed every expectation I had...and more. I did not know Jaclyn prior to my initial call. I had met a few of her previous clients and after seeing the quality of her work (only I did not know it was hers) I opted -as part of my research- to speak to her via phone prior to setting up an apt and I too concluded she would be the best fit. I was extremely satisfied with how thorough, unrushed and detailed she was in not only explaining details of procedure but also alloting time necessary to address any questions I had not only on my initial apt but throughout healing process and final followup... I have completed the procedure (1st and 2nd as being the final session) and this is something I could not recommend highly enough and if done by the right person (such as was in my case) the only regret is not having done it sooner.
