I booked what I…read morethought would be a relaxation massage with medium pressure, but the therapist specialized in fascia massage, which was not communicated to me beforehand. The session involved a lot of very light pressure and holding pressure points, which was not the type of massage I was looking for. I was hoping for a traditional relaxation massage and felt disappointed that this was not clarified before the appointment. I also let the therapist know that I do not like having my calves or stomach massaged. When I expressed this, she pushed back and explained that she needed to work on those areas and that I could decide after the session if I liked it. Even after I repeated that I did not like those areas being worked on, she continued to return to them. She also offered to incorporate CBD lotion, which she said might help. I agreed, but later found out it added an additional $25 charge that was never mentioned beforehand. After the session she also suggested that energy work might be good for me in the future. I explained that energy work has never been helpful for me, but she responded that I had simply never experienced her energy work -- similar to how she insisted I would benefit from the calf and stomach work. Overall, I felt like my preferences and boundaries were not really listened to. I simply wanted a straightforward relaxation massage with medium pressure. Because of this experience, I would not return.

Laura's excellent services and products have completely changed my skin for the better!…read more As I entered my late 20s, I had extremely problematic skin: acne, blackouts, and easily prone to redness and irritation. I tried several options from my dermatologist, but with mixed results at best, and I was hesitant to be on a long-term regimen of oral medication. I first met Laura after booking a facial on the recommendation of another friend, and it was the best, most thoughtful executed facial I had ever received. We had a great conversation where she really helped me understand my skin type, what is more likely to set it off, etc. I also started using her cleanser and moisturizer. I quickly began to see a difference. My acne decreased, and my skin didn't seem as "angry" - it was softer and less red. Over the next year or so, I had a series of facials with Laura and continued using her products. Incredibly, my skin issues essentially disappeared! Years later, I still use her products, and I have continued to have great results. I will always have sensitive skin, but it's smooth, soft and 99% free of breakouts. One last thing about her cleanser: it is so gentle that even if it gets in my eyes, it doesn't sting at all. I still can't believe something that mild could also be so effective, but it is. All in all, great services and great products - highly, highly recommend!

I've had good and bad spray tans before, never with d-light. I conveyed that I was concerned about turning orange. Heather was so delightful and comforting. I get my spray on. I look crazy. It's purplish gray. Heather said Trust the process. I drove home. I'm streaky, I'm sticky, I'm frustrated, I'm worried. 3 hours later I shower off and I have a very light greyish tan. I was initially a little disappointed it wasn't very warm. I thought "bummer this was not worth the money." I go to sleep on it, wake up....Bronze (for me) goddess!!!!! I don't know if it was the lights I was standing in the night before or if it continued to develop overnight. It's a warm tan but not crazy and not streaky at all. I love it! Trust the process!
