House salad with homemade (not chunky) blue cheese dressing
Mandira G.

A local favorite! They have the outdoor and indoor seating. Outdoor seating by the water has large fans and sunshades as needed. For the July heat, our elderly did okay. We were a bit sweaty in the evening. Outside is dog-friendly and they provide water dishes. Hey, Snowflakes, if you're bringing your naughty kids down who decide NOT to obey the don't feed the bird signs (includes fish), do us a favor and use your offspring as bait. I know that asks a lot since you'd have to put your phone down and address your screaming brat. But seriously, the staff here are too professional to police your ignorance. The service and food were both fantastic! While they focus on seafood, there is something for everyone on the menu, even your picky eaters. Fresh and very flavorful!! The fish dip, lobster/steak, chicken, key lime pie, and cheesecake are all highly recommended. Restrooms have AC and are clean (with mouthwash). Note you need to go up a flight of brick stairs to access it. May want to call for accessibility options if needed. There is also extensive parking to the left AAs you drive in. Most go to the right, by the entrance. Great views and atmosphere!

Outstanding lunch at island Fish. This little spot in Marathon seems like it would be geared towards tourists from the appearance, but has the service and ambience of a neighborhood restaurant. Highly attentive to your needs the waiters are all too ready to let you sample things like the conch chowder before you order them and make recommendations which turned out to be superb meals. I had the grilled grouper sandwich which was simply amazing. A nice piece of fish cooked perfectly without too much seasoning, oil or butter so capturing the full flavor of the fish on a roll with onion tomato and just a touch of tartar sauce, which had been served on the side. Served with french fries this was more than adequate meal in terms of quantity, but for exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and taste. The fish tasted extremely fresh and I enjoyed every bite. Price was more than reasonable and this is a place worth visiting anytime you're in the area or even, as we did today, to take a flight over just for lunch.

Gulf oysters?

Food sad. Conch chowder without any conch. All potatoes. Why?? .15oz gf oysters? Really?

Pretty but lacked flavor

Really good experience in late April at Island Fish Co. The food was great and service was good. It's an open-air casual restaurant with water views; not the best water views but better than looking at buildings or a parking lot. They have a few ceiling-mounted fans to try to keep the heat at bay. The shrimp poboy and onion rings were superb, and the wife really loved the grilled chicken sandwich and fries. Absolutely no complaints about the food or service. The cocktails left a little to be desired however; very small cups that we found lacking in flavor, but they looked tropical. Otherwise, everything was great and we'd definitely visit again.

Mahi mahi sandwich and plantains

This was our second time dining at Island Fish for dinner and we had a great meal! We arrived on the earlier side (4:45) with two toddlers and were able to be seated right away- by the water! There are kids menus with crayons which is always a plus. My husband had a key lime coloda beverage which was very refreshing. I have never had an oyster and have been wanting to try one and had one for a starter! Not knowing what to expect- it was fine? But I don't know what the hype is about. For entrees my husband had the lobster roll which he reported to be very good and I had the blackened mahi on a caesar. The mahi was very good but the salad had a little too much dressing for me- I hate a soggy lettuce leaf. My son had the popcorn shrimp kids meal & loved it! It's a great place for dinner that has a nice coastal atmosphere but isn't too fussy. Would love to go back on another visit to Marathon!

Before hitting the beach we needed a spot for breakfast. Low and behold we spot this packed place. Located on the water. Pull up by land, sea, or helicopter as we saw. Views are all of the ocean marina. Nice breeze coming in and the place is huge so choose your spot, the views will still be there. We looked at the menu and with so many options we decided to go a la carte and make our own. Bestie had eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. I had black coffee with jalapeno corned beef hash, poached eggs and dry rye toast. Everything was cooked perfectly, bacon and hash browns were crispy, eggs poppable, coffee hot- no complaints. Also good to know they bake their bread in house so try the toast or French toast or a tasty sandwich or burger. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Enjoy your meal and take on the day!

This place was incredible! The view was amazing and we got to sit on the docks. The fish were out in schools and we saw a manatee! The food was delicious! We had the shrimp tacos, captains dinner, clam linguine, and the grilled mahi. Everything was fresh and pretty quick. The service was good. They were a little busy, so seating was a bit delayed but overall a great experience! 10/10

While out and about exploring the Keys, we stayed at a local resort on Marathon. We asked our barkeep for recommendations, and he suggested Island Fish Company. My wife and I are celebrating our 30th Anniversary, and we absolutely love exploring places and trying local cuisines. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and drinks. First and foremost, it's hard to beat the Clam Chowders where I'm from, and I always have to sample others for validation. Admittedly, it's pretty damn tasty and I'd easily shell out some clams for this hearty cup of Chowda! After that, I went for the classic Surf n Turf with steak and Lobsta! Absolutely perfect. The steak was prepared how I requested it, and that buttery scrumptious chunk of crustacean tenderness hit the spot! We had excellent service, the place was hopping busy, and our views around the restaurant were breathtaking. Thank you for an outstanding visit and definitely recommend Island Fish! As always, Enjoy & Happy Eating!

So good we came here twice on our trip for lunch. The vibe is tropical, fun tiki bar meets delicious fresh seafood with an awesome menu selection, fun drinks , friendly service & beautiful views. We started with the best coconut shrimp I think I've ever had. It's the famous pink shrimp of Florida & the coconut breading was divine ! light, delicate crispy, served with a tasty mango chutney, dipping sauce, just perfection. by the way, this went perfectly with a crisp, white wine and my husband's tropical drink. Next, we had to get an order of the delish oysters Rockefeller, smothered with creamy spinach, and tons of lemon juice. Wow those gulf oysters are wonderful ! So Tender. For our main, we got the Grouper Fish Sammie's with fries & coleslaw. I had mine blackened, and my husband went with classic. The fish was so fresh and seasoned perfectly. Don't miss this gem on your way down the keys.

Ahi salad

Service was fast and attentive but food disappointing. Gulf oysters were fine. Grilled grouper had zero flavor and the salad that came with it had gross wilted pieces. The ahi salad was generous but the fish also was tasteless and I wish I had asked them to leave the blue cheese off - weird, yuck. They have a gf "guide" to their menu if you ask for it but it just involves omitting things, so nothing to be excited about. The outdoor seating of the location for enjoying a sunset is nice. The waitress Tara seemed unable to deal with our feedback, other than offer a substitute salad, and just laughed nervously when we said she might want to tell the manager the meal lacked flavor. She sent her trainee Shay solo to us to deal with the final payment.

Deep fried key lime pie

The service was okay. Our server wasn't rude, but he also didn't seem very friendly or welcoming until he dropped off the check. It felt like the bare minimum rather than warm or attentive service. The outdoor seating by the water was the highlight of the visit. It was relaxing and made for a nice atmosphere. This definitely seems like more of a place to grab a drink and hang out than a spot for a great meal. The bathrooms are also very nice and spacious. For food, we started with the key lime baked oysters. They had potential but were smothered with too much cheese, which really overpowered the dish. I ordered the seafood lovers pasta and unfortunately it was a huge miss. It was honestly the worst pasta I've ever had. The noodles tasted bland and greasy, almost like they were coated in movie theater butter. I couldn't eat more than one bite and instantly regretted ordering it. My husband took over my dish, he didn't like it either but said it was edible. He ordered the coconut fried lobster sandwich, which was the best thing we tried. It was flaky, flavorful, and cooked well. For dessert, we shared the deep fried key lime pie. It was tasty, though I discovered I prefer the traditional version, but it was still fun to try something different. Overall, the setting was nice, but the food was very hit or miss and the service didn't stand out. I wouldn't plan to stop here for a meal next time I'm in the area but maybe would try again for some drinks at the bar.

This was a fun place to stop on our way south to Key West. We were on a hunt for lobster rolls since it was the start of mini lobster season. We had a warm lobster roll with butter in mind vs cold with mayo. i looked up this location before we arrived and was happy to find they were serving our dish. The parking was very easy in a large lot but seemed to be filling up fast. The atmosphere was "Keys inviting"with a large tiki hut covering the indoors, awnings and boats in the marina. It was a hot day with fans blowing cooler air above our table so it was pleasant enough. I noticed the gift shop, the very long bar and a good crowd of small and large families enjoying the last weeks of summer vacation. Our server brought drinks right away and the food came out fairly quickly. The lobster and drawn butter were seasoned which took away from the pure lobster and butter event..but it was very enjoyable and we had our fix. Price was MP and turned out to be higher than the average lobster roll at $36 each but as i said we were hungry, on vacation and committed to our mission. I noticed other reviewers were mentioning the higher price as well. I did not take the time to look over the menu so i am not sure of the prices in general. I would probably stop here again on a trip to the Keys and try another dish. After completing our mission we continued south to enjoy the rest of our day in Key West.

Yes there are app specials in the happy hour in addition to drink specials

Yes

Delivery to jolly Rodger rv park?

No it doesn't

Call first, but it's all outdoor seating and there's a beach area off to the side that would keep you out away from other diners

Tiki House - A Must Stop KW Vibe We stumbled into Tiki House…read moreright at opening, lured in by their "street talker" promising 2 for 1 beers and wells from 12-3 PM. Who's walking past that? Not us. Inside, it's pure island charm -- rustic tiki décor, laid back energy, and a munchie menu that's perfect for a quick bite. Football season meant TVs everywhere, plus a solo musician on stage (I don't need to hear the game to watch it; music soothes the beast). Enter Mira -- The Tiki Oracle. Bartender, manager, Key West historian, and all around gem. She switched a TV to our game without hesitation and put up with me talking her ear off like a true bartender therapist. We liked it so much we came back the next day, and the vibe was just as good -- friendly, accommodating, and exactly what you hope for in a KW spot. We even dragged the rest of our group over, and they immediately asked why we didn't start there. Tiki House is so Conch Republic vibed it just makes you feel good. I highly recommend it... even though I hate giving away a place this good.

I tried the famous lobster Rueben. It was toasted perfectly on rye. It was fine but I think the sauerkraut over powers the lobster when the lobster needs to be the star of the sandwich. The beating I had here was probably the coconut shrimp with mango sauce. It was perfection. Deliciously crispy and the mango chutney was perfect with it. After we finished eating we went into the seafood market to check out their fresh seafood selection and grabbed a pie of key lime pie to go which comes in a little tart tin. It was really good flavored and the crust was obviously homemade. Not your typical graham cracker crust which was a nice change.
