It tastes like a quality chicken pot pie with actual goodies, none of this whole farmland of potatoes, carrot, and peas plus some broth and butter and a shred of chicken tail and calling it a "chicken soup." This was a hearty soup with chunks of white meat chicken and soft dumplings. Basically chicken dumpling soup as they say, vs potatoes cube soup. It is a must have. I really did myself a disservice and only got a cup.... on my own vacation after working throughout the entire pandemic on-site. The gulf shrimp platter (I got blackened) absolutely delicious. I love the Bourbon Sriracha sauce and used it as a dipping sauce for my fries. You can also never go wrong with hearty mashed potatoes and their gravy. My fiance got some brisket pork combo (in the entrees section) plus mac and cheese side... so good!! This is a must go to place, and the staff are super pleasant. Zero complaints from me!

The good: Seating is plentiful and we were able to sit right away. They have both booths and large tables for larger parties if needed. Service was nice. The bbq sauces are some of the best I've ever had. The barbecue beans are delish and sweet, if you like a sweet barbecue bean. The cornbread was really good. The menu is quite large with tons of options. Cool atmosphere inside. And bathrooms are clean. The - could be better: my bbq brisket sandwich was extremely dry to the point some of the pieces i couldn't even bend the meat. There was very little bbq sauce on it so thankfully i loved the bbq sauces so i drenched it. All the sauces are kept on the tables for easy access. The okra was not crispy. The ribs looked good on the plate turned upside down but once turned over the tops were burnt and the meat was also very dry. Also the house salad, i had to ask for cheese and croutons, it came with one slice of tomato and one slice of cucumber. So the house salad is quite bland just a heads up. Will try again, hopefully just an off day with the meats.

It came out and it was very rare and tough. My wife had a problem cutting it. I ordered baked stuffed shrimp. The stuffing was supposed to be crab meat stuffing. I could find no trace of crab in the stuffing. My son ordered a bottle of wine and the server brought the wrong wine. She took it back and got the correct one. My son had ordered a loaded baked potato. His potato was dry-nothing on it. My wife and I asked for sour cream and ours was ok. We ordered calamari with the sauce on the side. The calamari came with sauce all over it. Then when the check came it was incorrect. They charged my son $2.00 for loaded potato which he did not receive. He ordered and 24 oz piece of prime rib. The standard on is 12 oz and is priced at $34.00 His 24 oz piece was on the check for $72. That is more than twice the price of the standard meal. He could have ordered two meals which means two potatoes and sides for less than they were going to charge him. I complained to the server and she said she would speak to her manager. She adjusted the check to $68 which is still the price of two meals and he did not get two meals, only a double order of meat. In fact, the portion did not look to me to be twice the size of my wife's portion but perhaps it was. In summary--It was a very disappointing experience.
