Since writing my original review, I took this doctor's advice and found a new healthcare provider…read more The difference has been remarkable. My new physician sat down with me for at least 30 minutes, listened carefully to my concerns, and made me feel as though my health actually warranted his time and attention. By comparison, my experiences with Dr. Sameer typically involved appointments lasting no more than five minutes. I am genuinely amazed by how much happier and more confident I feel with my new doctor. To anyone struggling with the American healthcare system, my advice is simple: keep looking until you find a provider who is willing to give you the time and attention you deserve. There are physicians who prioritize the quality of their care rather than taking on as many patients as possible in pursuit of greater profit. My interactions with Dr. Sameer also left me with the impression that he was socially awkward, dismissive, and difficult to communicate with. That may not bother every patient, but when someone is responsible for addressing serious health concerns, effective communication and a willingness to listen are extremely important. I am grateful that this experience ultimately pushed me to find a physician who treats me with considerably more care, patience, and respect. Thank you.

The staff was very friendly both on the phone and when we checked in/out. Dr. Deterville spent an extensive amount of time with us; he made my daughter feel very comfortable as she is scared of going to the doctors office and educated us on the diagnosis. I had several questions and he was very thorough with his responses. As a worried mama, I appreciated the amount of time he spent with us. I originally saw Dr. Heyrani for my shoulder and had such a great experience. He was very helpful,…read moreinformative, and gave me different treatment options without ever making me feel pressured. Recently, I started having issues with my thumb and was diagnosed with trigger finger. The only reason I initially went to another doctor was because I didn't know that Dr. Heyrani treated trigger finger. Had I known, I would have gone to him from the beginning. The other doctor recommended surgery and wanted to schedule it for the very next day. I was also told that I would basically have no downtime. I was hesitant about the information I was given, so I decided to contact Dr. Heyrani's office. When they confirmed that he does treat trigger finger, I immediately scheduled an appointment with him. I explained my experience to Dr. Heyrani, and he took the time to go over my condition and ALL of my options. He explained that if I choose to proceed with surgery, I should expect about two weeks of downtime, which sounded much more realistic to me. For now, I decided to go with a steroid injection to hopefully give me some relief for the next few months. If I do need surgery, I already know I will be returning to Dr. Heyrani. What I appreciate most about Dr. Heyrani is that he is informative, HONEST, and gives you different options instead of making you feel like surgery is your only choice. I really value a doctor who takes the time to explain everything and allows you to make an informed decision about your care. Thank you, Dr. Heyrani, for taking your time with me, going over all of my options, and most importantly, for your honesty. I highly recommend Oak Tree Orthopedics for your orthopedic needs!
