If you're looking for a doctor who'll get you in and out of the office at high speed, or one that doesn't look beyond the obvious curent complaint, then she's not the doctor for you. Then she got my email address wrong when I tried to sign up for the patient portal. When I called back I spoke with Gwen, who was super friendly and helpful. She corrected the error right away. I arrived early for my first appointment and was taken in at a decent time but it took a while to actually see Dr. Virk. When I met him, he seemed very knowledgeable and patient with my questions and concerns. He seemed like he actually read through the thick patient intake packet I completed. He was warm and genial. He didn't seem to be in a huge rush to get me out of the door. I was pleased with my experience, and felt that the wait was worth it. When I got my lab work done, I messaged Dr. Virk but never received a response from him, only from his staff stating they had sent the message to him. When I tried to call, I left a callback number after a long wait and was never called back, though the automated message stated I was next in line. I left another message on the patient portal explaining this and my availability in trying to schedule an appointment. I did receive a call and voicemail the following morning. When I called back, I immediately received an answer and was able to schedule a phone visit within a few weeks. My previous doctor's office allowed people to schedule appointments online through their patient portal or via text, which I found helpful. I do wish this was the case with this office. I also wish I could see after visit care instructions and information on the patient portal, as I can be forgetful with verbal instructions and would like to be able to refer back on the specific directions my doctor has given. Overall, I like this office, but having a more modern way of scheduling appointments and accessing my health data would make it 5 stars.

When you walk in the ladies are very professional and lovely to talk to. I've never waited but maybe 5-10 min the latest. Jen usually greats me. She's sweet, professional and always has a smile and a kind disposition! She makes me feel like an old friend coming to visit. When you need something or forgot a question she always responds! Sometimes you get her in person on the phone but if you leave a recording she gets back to you within 24 hours. I had a question about some bloodwork results and Dr Meshreky called me back after I told Jen my concerns. That was a pleasant surprise! Dr Meshreky is very easy to talk to. She listens attentively. She has NEVER been condescending. She likes to engage with you on what's going on and even has listened when I shared some new things I found out about my chronic problem. Problem solving and patience has helped me a lot since my memory is sometimes lacking. My experience with her is she sees a problem and address' it with a professionalism that is empathic, compassionate and friendly. She's incredibly knowledgeable! If I ask for a specific prescription she listens to why and gives her opinion. She doesn't just say yes sometimes it's a no. Then she explains why or offers a different way to go. I trust her judgment and I'm so happy she's my Dr!

I changed PCP's last month, when I…read morecalled for my initial appointment, I was told the soonest was a month out, I'm a diabetic and needed to be seen to receive a refill so as inconvenient as it was + having to go a full month without my medication, I decided to wait it out. Fast forward to this week, I call to confirm my appointment and I'm told they don't have one for me until May, another 5 weeks without medication. When I asked how this could have happened, the person I was talking with said they don't know, and there's nothing that could be done. The level of professionalism is seriously lacking with their appointment setter and level of care provided when speaking with someone that had a genuine concern for their own health, wasn't just disrespectful, but to brush it off as they did was more upsetting than them dropping the ball on my appointment. I hope their calls are recorded so management can pull the call and hear it for themselves. I had to call my insurance and change PCP's, my new doctors office heard what happened, seen me today and got me all squared away. If you're having issues being seen, I'd recommend trying other providers, because while I'm sure Dr. Baluyut is a fine physician, his office staff needs a serious reality check.

The staff was very friendly both on the phone and when we checked in/out. Dr. Deterville spent an extensive amount of time with us; he made my daughter feel very comfortable as she is scared of going to the doctors office and educated us on the diagnosis. I had several questions and he was very thorough with his responses. As a worried mama, I appreciated the amount of time he spent with us. If you're looking for a great pediatric doctor, you've found the right person :)
