On the eastern side of Irvington, a mural by Doug Stanley was added in 2011 as part of the SuperBowl mural program "46 for XLVI". There are four panels to the mural that span across the back of the Irvington Flea Market and visible, not from Washington Street, but from the Pennsy Trail path that runs where the old Pennsylvania Railroad tracks used to run.
From left to right, the panels reflect Summer through Spring. Each of the seasons shows a stretch of land that represents where the Pennsy line ran through, with trees in the foreground being the main object used to show the changing of the seasons.
I also like that the time of day is also used differently on each panel. The sun is high above in Summer, setting in Autumn, down (night time) in Winter, and rising in Spring.
