They did not honour my CONFIRMED 6:00 appointment... They told me their system is not linked Groupon! Ruined weekend!!!

GROUPON BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!! Do NOT Buy this Groupon! Groupon gives you the option to give 3 appointments time options, I chose Friday 6 when I got off work and alternate on Saturday afternoon. I received the confirmation email back from Groupon that the business confirmed my 1st choice, Friday at 6. So I get a call while I'm at work, that my appt is Friday at 4???? WTF? So I called, they tell me they are already booked for 6, and can't get me until Saturday.. Well, I already have a planned/booked weekend. So the manager Susan tells me, they're system is not booked to Groupon???? Wtf again, so why do you provide that option??? This has been a complete waste of money and has made the start of my weekend horrible from what was supposed to be the beginning of a perfect weekend!

Wow! After seeing all the 4- and 5-star reviews, I question if I'm overreacting to the traumatic…read moreexperience I had on 01/24 during my 8th laser session at A & M. I'm hesitant to leave a negative review, but following advice from friends and family, I hope this helps others avoid humiliation from Ms. AG. I had originally written a detailed review, but Google has character limits. During my recent visit on the 01/24 Friday, I had a horrifying experience. When I inquired about the shorter duration of the procedure, the service provider became extremely angry. In the past, these sessions were much longer, and her reaction was unsettling. She began yelling at the top of her lungs, threatening to throw me out and even call the cops. Despite my attempts to understand what was happening, she continued to shout and threaten me. After I paid, she threw the receipt at my face. She repeatedly threatened to call the police and screamed, "Get out of my premises." When I asked to speak with the owner, she claimed to be the owner herself. Her behavior was so shocking and demeaning that I was left in tears, losing sleep and self-confidence. For the past few days, I've been fearful of leaving my home. No one should have to experience such treatment. How can simply giving feedback or asking for what you've paid for upset someone so much? Even if I were a customer with a bad attitude, is this how businesses operate--threatening to throw customers out or call 911? As a firm believer in karma, I know that how people treat you is their karma, but how you react is yours. A smile can go a long way to brighten someone's day and our actions shape our lives, so it's important to choose wisely!

First, they were rude on call, when they want to reschedule appointment although i booked 5 weeks ago. Never recommend it. Also the hair removal is not up to the mark, they charge for full body 350 dollars and want to force finish in one hour, whether full body laser done or not. Pathetic service.

I chose Dr. Ellen Turner in part because she markets her practice as offering functional medicine…read moreand hormone evaluation, and this was explicitly reiterated to me at the time of scheduling a new-patient appointment. Upon arrival, I was told, by the nurse who began my appointment, that these services are no longer offered. This information and the whole nurse interaction was delivered in a rude, dismissive tone towards me. When I questioned the discrepancy between what was advertised and what was actually provided, the staff response made it clear this practice is struggling with medical burnout and workload issues. This discrepancy constitutes misleading advertising and induced me to schedule a visit under false assumptions. I informed the nurse and front desk that I was not going to waste my time or a copay under those circumstances, thanked them, and walked out. More broadly, what is concerning is a clear pattern in how patient distress and criticism are handled. In public responses to negative reviews, the practice repeatedly invokes HIPAA, policy, credentials, and the "inappropriateness" of public feedback--not to acknowledge harm, but to deflect it and subtly shift blame onto patients. While HIPAA limits specifics for the practice of medicine, it does not prevent basic empathy or accountability from providers. The choice not to offer either reinforces an unequal power dynamic where patients are framed as confused or inappropriate for speaking up. A practice that markets itself as compassionate, functional, and whole-person oriented should not respond to patient concerns by hiding behind policy or authority. I strongly encourage prospective patients--especially those seeking functional or holistic care--to read the lowest reviews carefully and pay attention not just to what patients say, but how those concerns are responded to by Dr. Ellen Turner.

This is my 2nd dermatology office I tried & all I can say i am still looking for dermatologist…read more Waiting room is tiny & charis are all crowded in the room. I will say it was the smallest waiting I ever been into. when i saw Dr. Turner... all I can say... "I am not so sure...." feeling. Would you hire an overweight personal trainer?? Would you hire crappy dressed person to be your wardrope makeover person? Would you go see a plastic surgery doctor who looks like had an awful face job?? You definately won't see a dentist who has all messed teeth, right? You know where I am going... But I was already there so I showed her my Keloid scar & asked for a steriod shot to calm my scar down. She gave me a shot and also suggested a scar cream. I asked her "my other dermatology doctor told me there is no cream that can get rid of my scar." Her respond was "I disagree!". So she gve me a perscribtion & said this compound pharmacy won't charge me if I don't want it or if my insurance won't cover it. Well, all I can say that compound pharmacy charged my yearly spending account $50 then sent me the cream I didn't even authorize it. I returned the cream & they say they will reimburse it but never got the money back. When I called them, they said they refunded but my perscribtion company couldn't find the record. So, I don't know who to ask $50 back. Why is it soooo hard to find a good dermatologist & dentist in Irving????
