This is not your Galleria or NorthPark kinda mall but it has an eclectic collection of decent stores and alright to visit here once in a while if you are from the area and don't want to make a long trip elsewhere. The Sears, Macy's and Dillards are better stores. Stores come and go here all the time. Aeropostale and AE always has some kinda deal going on, so it is not uncommon to find good deals there. Burlington Coat factory is big but it is hard to find any good deals and quality items here but may be a good option for home improvement items. The revamped AMC is not a bad option to catch a flick; with Lazy-boy kinda seat and bar right inside can make the experience a whole lot better. Recently, this place is infested with small-cart vendors occupying almost every space on the walkway making it so congested. This place gets really crowded especially on weekends and parking-lot gets almost full too. There is no coffee place left anymore at this mall. I was sad to see Barnes and Nobles close right about the time it closed at N. MacArthur and they say Irving is growing! What kinda growth is this when there is not a single bookstore in Irving? The food court has a Chinese place and it tastes alright for the mall food but they charge extra buck for spicy lomen; when asked the guy said the chilli sauce is special from China.....cannot argue with that. It has Subway, Philly Cheesesteak, Italian, a recently opened Mexican restaurant right where taco-bell used to be, and a banquet hall. Nearby is a little play area and slingshot for kids. Los lupes has a nice dining area with decent food options and happy hour drinks. There is even a gym there these days. I think they should try to contain those mushrooming carts, focus on renovation and try to entice better stores and get a Cafe, at least even a coffee-cart will do. read more

This mall is just...over the top HORRIBLE, the flooring is just outdated and dirty, Macy's just looks like an outlet store, Dillard's is just pointless, Burlington was surprisingly big, Barnes & Noble just closed, Mervyn's went out long time ago, it was a nice store btw, JCPenney went out like Ten years ago, and Circuit City dies. This mall is just going down. Even North East Mall is better, more upscale, less Ghetto (not counting the Sears store), Macy's stills looks new, Dillard's is 14 years old, and it still looks brand new, JCPenney is huge. Irving Mall is just boring, ghetto, and the food court is just...ew. The bathrooms is just disgusting. The people here were overwhelmingly not polite and I can't believe Simon Property Group isn't doing anything, how about demolish the mall and make it into a Lifestyle mall like Firewheel Town Center? I've lived in Irving since 1963 and have seen the Irving Mall go from a great mall with all the major stores (Foley's (Macy's), Dillards, Penneys, Sears) to a flea market type atmosphere. I can tell you exactly when the mall began to run down ...... it was when the Hispanic population began to overrun Irving and that is a fact. There is absolutely nothing in that mall now with the exception of the AMC Theatres that I have any interest in. I do my shopping at the Northeast Mall. It's a crying shame that Irving does not have a decent place for it's residents to shop! read more

It's a pretty decent mall, not flashy or with a lot of stores, but does have the stores I need (VS, Dillards, etc ) but it does have a movie theatre, AMC, and it's a good movie theatre, plays most recent movies, is clean, and staff is very friendly. I would give the movies a 5 but the customer service at the stores isn't so great, some don't even greet or help you. read more

Ive been going to this mall since I was very little. If you asked me 10 years ago id give this mall a 4 star review but now it is the worst mall in the area. The only reason I ever go here is because of Dillards and Macys beside that dont waste your time. read more

I was amazed when I first stepped in to the Irving Mall. Everything was shining, and the hall was splendorous. It had awesome collections of clothes even for men, and I found cheap finds as well. The cafes and restaurants were awesome!!! read more
