Dal Rich seems like a fitting name since it is literally at the city line that divides Richardson and Dallas. It's owned and operated the Weitzman's who in 2022 did a major update and rebranding to Dal Rich Towne Square. I frequent this shopping center a few times a week as there are several establishments I frequent in the Towne Square, like Jason's Deli, Cottonwood Market, McDonald's, Selda Bakery, the UPS store and more. One thing I really like is that I am usually able to park right in front of where I am going. There is also good traffic flow here which I like as well. It's an aesthetically pleasing place after the renovation!

So much has changed, but a great deal has stayed the same. The atmosphere nice pleasant and the plaza has unique places to shop and dine. Sur la Table is here, Starbucks, Soma intimates, Shake Shack, Sephora, Pure Bare, Omaha Steaks and a lot more. I love the Pegasus that greets you on your way in! I remember visiting this shopping center when I first moved to the area. The area is nicely…read morelandscaped and is kept clean. Sure, over the years, stores have come and gone, like anywhere else. I feel safe when I shop the stores, which is wonderful! The only negative is that I have seen such an up-tick in people begging on the grounds. I have watched a female beggar walk from her corner, hop in her BMW, and drive away.

It has a Goff's, CVS, Le Madeline's, Roly Poly, Chili's To Go, Luke's Locker and more! It is next to SMU (easy walking distance), plenty of parking, not too far from a DART Rail station and is easy to get in and out of except when there is a major SMU event. The staff at most of the businesses are generally highly qualified and service tends to be excellent at all of them.

It would be ironic if Amazon does bite in the bid to have their Second Headquarters here in the…read moreFormer Valley View Mall, when after all they where one of the main reasons lots of huge retailers and small mom shops lost business (bc of the online shopping perk). The reason I am giving it a one star, is because there is not much to do, it needs a lot of updates and it's just so dead. The vive is not good at all and it's just a bunch of old memories that were left in this location! If you do not know what happened to this former Mall, here you go: Bloomingdale's, closed in 1990. The space remained empty until JCPenney came in 1996, but it later closed in 2013. By that time, two out of three of Valley View's other department stores (Macy's and Dillard's) had closed. The last remaining anchor, Sears, closed with several other stores in July 2017. The building's parking garage was demolished soon after, and now, only an AMC theater, a few art galleries and pizza joints, and a smoothie shop remains. However, there is talk that within the next 10 years, if Amazon do not accept the bid on building here, most operating stores will close too. I am very excited to see how this all unfolds, there are a few renderings and propositions on creating a MID TOWN high end with state of the art galore for us to enjoy! That would be very nice! I wonder if that's how this plaza got its name…read more Cute and fancy little Plaza with a location of Boba standout Feng Cha, and a bunch of other fancy businesses. That's a bubble tea shop by the way - which is why we come to this Plaza often. It's a long strip mall with a couple of accessory stores and a music venue pub and some excellent bubble tea. I like hanging out in this Plaza. But it can be a pain to walk around in stiletto heels for sure. Parking is iffy in that you often have to park kinda far from where you're going because it gets so busy. Speaking of busy I have to go bye.
