Good place to get your air conditioned walking in, if that's your thing. Other than that, I can't say I'd shop here. Even the food court only has about three restaurants and none of them are kid friendly. I don't know about your grandkids, but mine sure aren't eating Mediterranean. LOL It really sucks malls are not the norm anymore.

I had already completed order and had now way of contacting, so after I refused to take back an order that a customer had purchased, the little man with a huge ego proceeded to follow me to my vehicle and block my car in with his body. He then waved down a real police officer to issue me a criminal trespassing warning for trying to deliver coffee, even though my record is squeaky clean lol

This time, we stayed at a nearby hotel and walked into the Galleria so we did not have to deal with traffic and parking. The last time we were here, our impression was that the mall was mainly upscale, expensive stores. In 2026, there are a lot more moderately priced stores that are intended not to be so exclusive. After walking around for a while, our main activity was for the kid to do ice skating. It is basically $20 for unlimited skating, although it has to be continuous. You can't leave and come back. The price includes skates but you have to buy socks if you did not bring any. She was not very good at skating to begin but got better and better as time went on. We were there about 1.5 hours and that was enough. The activity seems to be attractive for kids, teens, and even adults. There were even a few people who seemed professional level. The kid begged us to do skating again the next day so she obviously enjoyed it.

Beautiful old buildings are still the main staple surrounding the square. And I do love old buildings! The vintage bricks. Their big sweeping windows - perfect for grand store displays. And if I'm real lucky they will have original signage on the buildings. That's the part that makes me the happiest. And today I was in luck as I walked along Garlands square - the most beautiful old sign glowed in the night like a beacon drawing me in - it is the Plaza Theater. I stood there in awe. Yes, it was a grand thing to see! And they have many shows there. I just missed Sleepy Hollow. I wish I knew about it, that would have been a treat to see in this theater. Looking at upcoming events I am already making plans to attend some of them. I truly cannot wait! With it being October, pumpkins and straw filled the benches with fall sweetness. And children were playing in the middle courtyard. There's something beautiful about children playing and laughing. so, now I must end this review with a quiet but meaningful statement - Downtown Garland has captured that small home town feel many of us look for. The girl I got my lashes done with Brianna was so rude as well I was actually mortified. She kept saying the whole time how terrible my natural lashes were and made me feel insecure about it, I would tell her I wash them frequently and she would just lay "mmhm". I didn't even feel pretty when I left the studio almost $175 later. Terrible. Just terrible.
