I purchased a Ford F250 from TexasCarsDirect back in September. I flew in from Chicago to pick up…read morethe truck. Upon arriving and meeting with David Urby, I took the truck for a test drive. There was some minor issues but the most glaring was the check engine light. David said the issues would be taken care of, go to lunch and come back in a couple of hours. He called me and said they needed a part that would not be there until Monday. David paid for my flight home and said the truck would be shipped to me. I received the truck late the next week. When driving from where I received the truck, the check engine light came on. I notified him of this issue and he said to have it fixed locally and he would reimburse me. It has been several months and many texts and calls and still no reimbursement. Up until this point, David lived up to his word but I am extremely disappointed to have to write a partial negative review due to not receiving this promised reimbursement. In addition, the check engine issue took two times to resolve, the second requiring an additional cost which I decided to absorb thinking I would get the promised reimbursement. In closing, David did live up to his word on everything until this reimbursement issue so I can't give a 5 star review due to this

We had a clear and valid offer in-hand from CarMax, and they refused to honor their $500 over guarantee. 2. Calling them is a disorganized mess. It's hard to get a hold of who you need, or set an appointment at a particular location, time and with a particular person. They botched our appointment, twice. 3. "This will just take 15 minutes" turned into almost an hour. Avoid.

The front desk team was so nice & even let me wait in their (very nice) waiting room while I waited on roadside assistance, which wasn't going well. Andrew, an employee actually ended up changing my tire for me ON HIS BREAK, which I thought was such an above & beyond action, so because of this whole inconvenient situation that turned out to be so lovely, I plan to revisit this Carmax for when I'm ready to become an actual customer. Thanks Andrew & Carmax Irving Team!

Made a yelp account specifically to not recommend this store. I bought a car from here and…read moreimmediately had problems (puncture in the tire, needed a new catalytic converter, replacement of different hoses). It was all covered under warranty, but no one has had ANY urgency to help you once they've sold the car. It has been a nightmare scheduling appointments and actually getting any work done. I've heard from four separate employees that "we'll give you a call back" and then never heard from any of them. This car was supposed to have been done yesterday but they had delays of course. I've currently been sitting in the store for 4 hours because an employee told me it would be done 4 hours ago (still not done, I guess the tech never picked up the needed part). The lack of communication between employees, techs, and managers is actually mind blowing. The only reason this is getting 2 stars is because the service manager has actually been trying to help us, but it has still been a painfully long process to repair the brand new car I bought.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING…read more This is long overdue. I tried not leaving this review, but the public has to know. I don't deserve what I'm going through with my perfect credit score being over 740. This vehicle has a recall since 2019, but the dealership doesn't touch anything aftermarket, it has to be stock. When I first saw the vehicle, I checked the engine light since it was deleted. I barely saw enough since I didn't want to be caught. Now that I have the vehicle, there's more than what I expected. Again, bring an engine code reader, don't go by what they say. I'm spending over $1,200, and there's a lot more I'm having to pay to get my valve springs repaired which is around $800-$1,600 to fix. So yeah, I'm one "happy" customer alright. I already replaced the fuel filler neck and charcoal canister that was causing the fueling up the gas tank problem, and now the most expensive one yet is my valve springs that's causing a lot of things to go wrong with my ride. I got crapped on, big time time. I surely hope everyone double and triple CHECKS ANY vehicle before buying. Don't just go by what anyone says at all. That is all. Thank you.

Then they said I could look at other cars if I wanted the other car, they offered me was in worse condition than the original car. I would not waste time, money or energy on this place. Service dept is horrible also since I paid cash for car they were not concerned with time and getting me my car back. The manager spoke to me when I went in to get the car and he didn't even know what was going on. I wish I had read the reviews before buying. The other thing is I found this place on car gurus the car I went to look at was trash, the sales guy said I don't want to sell you this car it has so many issues. We did look at it and it sounded horrible. I think all this place does is buy shit cars for cheap and sells them for more than they are worth. Al was my sells rep, and he was never much help. I will never go back to this place.

Upon arriving, I discover that I was the victim of deceptive trade practices and a salesman only interested in his cut. An egregious lack of attention to detail quickly became obvious because Anthony returned with no car, that we'd negotiated on, because THE MOTOR WAS DEAD!! This inflammatory attack on my intelligence and gross misjudgment of my knowledge were highly underestimated - which showed a highly ignorant prejudice and an unfounded, preconceived bias. Where in fact, the evidence of cutting corners, (thereby compromising the safety, integrity, and mechanical stability), lying to a female customer assuming she'd not know the difference creates a solid legal argument for DTPA The sales manager, finance manager (Cody who happens to be Anthony's family creates a HUGE conflict of interest). ALL bear responsibility for allowing a non working car to be posted and a deal to be made on a car that hadn't even been looked over. All done in the name of greed- giving Autos of Dallas a pathetic name. They may advertise "luxury", but the violations and blatant disregard for a myriad of rules/regulations grossly undermines anything advertised. The BMW I chose in place had NOT been inspected for the state NOR gone through a a thorough inspection of all systems. As I pulled off the lot and went through the system's settings did I discover the car was overdue for an oil change. When I called Anthony back, THEN he informed me of all this complicit manipulation and violation of rules and regulations of sound business practices including, but not limited to, a full revision of systems to ensure not only the quality and reliability of the vehicle, but most paramount and critical - the SAFETY of the car. There was zero remorse for trying to take advantage of a female, but more importantly a 100% disabled veteran. When I returned Monday morning, I got a bunch of excuses why these major failures took place, A sickening "should haves" or straight up "I'm not sure"...the most offensive, unorganized, absolute farthest thing as business minded professionals. The only saving grace to this sickening fraud was the new service manager Tom. I paid nearly $32K CASH but sales wanted to refuse putting a clean cabin air filter and to fill up the car with gas!!! What!!?? I'll be forwarding this grievance to BBB, CFPB, FTC and Atty General. This abuse, disregard for human life, and violations must not be allowed to continue or exist in the business world. BUYER BE VERY CAUTIOUS AND SUSPICIOUS.

The Manager I might add is INCOMPETENT AF!! Put me on hold for 30 minutes just to go back in a loop to the operator who hate their jobs. So I'm sure they told the "Manager" I was calling again to see where my sticker is AGAIN. When the manager answered he says"I have you on caller ID" great, so you will note that I'm calling every time so no one can answer a simple question of "who has my registration sticker"... If you can sell your cars and have incompetent management that can't answer BASIC questions because this is your job. Then don't sell cars. Yall are so busy twiddling your thumbs and screening calls. I know when I first got my car, they were pissed because I didn't go for all the EXTRA fees and so they couldn't get a high commission off of me. Do a better job than being pushy at this point. Mr. James Carr- you were an absolute sweetheart:)
