I'm generally a latte person, so I went with the Matcha Pandan, and I thought it was pretty good! Most of my family was specifically craving ice cream, though, so they went for the soft serve. They have a few different drinks and desserts to choose from, making it a convenient place when everyone wants something a little different. My biggest gripe is the space (really, the lack thereof). We were a party of seven, and Cafe Seoul is extremely small and cramped inside. Seating is very limited, and we couldn't really sit together until some people left and others were kind enough to share or give up chairs. There were also a few students hanging out when we visited, so I definitely wouldn't count on this being a comfortable sit-down spot if you're coming with a larger group. The layout doesn't help much either. The menu and some of the seating are awkwardly positioned near the bathroom, and at certain points you're basically squeezing past people just to get around. For a quick drink or dessert, it's manageable, but I wouldn't personally choose this as somewhere to settle in and hang out for a long time with a big party. If you manage to snag enough seats, consider yourself lucky. Service was okay. It took a while for everyone's orders to come out, and unfortunately one of ours was completely missed. We eventually realized it hadn't even been included in the original transaction, so we had to go back up and pay for it separately. Nothing that ruined the night, but between that and the wait, service wasn't necessarily a highlight either. Cafe Seoul gets the job done and meets standard expectations. My Matcha Pandan was tasty, my family got their late-night soft serve fix, and being open later than your average coffee shop is a bonus. I wouldn't go significantly out of my way for it, but if I'm ever back in Federal Way and craving a late-night latte or dessert, I'd consider stopping by again.

I enjoyed my coffee drink and tea and ofcourse, enjoyed my experience visiting the adorable cats there but the reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that I felt bad for the little cuties.. at least half of them looked exhausted and possibly a bit sickly even. They normally charge $15 for an hour long visit with the cats.. I happened to walk in almost a half hour into the hour and they offered to let me have a 30 min visit with the cats for $7 which is what I did... and i'm glad it worked out like that as I think an hour would be too long when there was only maybe 6 cats in total there and I really didn't feel like paying $15 to see some cats up close.. that's a bit steep but hopefully all the money they make from that goes towards the cat's care. I'll likely be back again on a future trip to check in on the cats and get another delicious drink.

The staff was nice but we felt really rushed and pushed out as they were getting ready to close (30 minutes before close). There isn't any dedicated parking for the cafe, but we were able to find street parking around the block. Once you enter inside the building and cafe, it is surprisingly spacious. There isn't that much seating available though. On a nice day, there is outdoor seating available. I ordered a Vietnamese Iced Coffee and a Mint Mojito Iced Coffee. These were drinks very basic. Nothing extravagant about them, especially the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. The Mint Mojito Iced Coffee was a tad bit better and you could taste the mint in it. If I were to return, I definitely would try other drinks or even their food items here. The customer service here was okay. Not very interactive. There wasn't any issues, but it was a bit awkward for whatever reason.
