Food - I really enjoyed the portion size, I felt like it was just enough and kept me full well into lunch time. From the first bite, I understood the hype. Fluffy, buttery, and made fresh. The hibiscus tea was refreshing! Service- Very friendly, greeted upon arrival, quick wait time Ambiance - comfortable & cozy. It's in on the smaller side inside but still has 4/5 tables for indoor seating
Really cool and unique spot for southern style biscuits! The space is tight and so prepare to takeout your food if there are no options. We got the hot honey chicken biscuit, a bacon egg and cheese (the special one with really thick bacon not the regular kind), and a biscuit with strawberry butter. We also got their NOLA coffee and a cold brew -- both delicious. Would definitely recommend and I'll be back to try more!
Okay wow. I have driven by this place countless times and the line is always so long. Meg M and I finally went and it sure does live up to the hype. We went at an off time so the line was not too bad and moved quickly. It's definitely an expensive breakfast sandwich but so very delicious. I had the fried green tomato biscuit sandwich and enjoyed it with an egg and hash brown. I devoured it. I need to come back. But one of the best things they do is cut up day old biscuits and leave them out for your dogs!!!!!! I love this so much. I brought the treats home for my dog and he was obsessed! He loved these biscuits so much!!!!
This biscuit changed my life. Had to eat in the car because of the rain, but the inside is a super cute little area with some seating. Staff were so friendly and nice. Thankfully, the line wasn't too long! I got the BLT biscuit and used extra crispy thin bacon
Being from the South, I'm so happy that Irregardless exists here in Providence! I got the kitchen special: fried green tomato (literally my favorite southern food), smoked tomato aioli, house pickles, and arugula. Pillowy biscuit, crispy & juicy tomato, creamy aioli, and refreshing pickles & arugula = perfect sandwich. There's a good amount of street parking nearby. Service is super friendly and relatively fast, there were so many people there. Ambiance is casual, but there's not that much seating. 10/10 would recommend.
Came here for breakfast at 8am. Small line appeared at 8:01 but nothing too crazy, we didn't need to show up the second they opened. Ambiance was cozy. Ordered the NOLA Cold Brew, 1) Howard's Biscuit, Extra Thick Maple & Pepper Glazed Bacon, Egg, & Cheese Our absolute favorite. Would highly recommend. Very delicious and would probably order again when in the area 2) Maple Fennel Chicken Sausage. Egg, & Cheese This was okay not as flavorful as the bacon but you could definitely taste the fennel. 3) Strawberry Butter Very very good when eaten warm. Perfect sweet snack or dessert Nola cold brew was decent. Came with chickory syrup and milk already inside. Not bad Overall, this is a very solid breakfast place and would definitely try again. Place is very tight and only has 3-4 tables
Irregardless was a pleasant surprise. I found them on Yelp and decided to try them out based on the raving reviews. I was nervous that there would be a wait, but thankfully, there was no wait at all. They also have a few parking spaces in the parking lot. I went on a Thursday morning. The restaurant has a few tables and chairs, but it seemed like more of a takeout place. I ordered the fried chicken and hot honey biscuit and an iced Nola cold brew. Everything was made to order. My biscuit was soft and pillowy, the fried chicken was fried to perfection, and the cold brew was enjoyable. For the portion size, I thought the price was reasonable. If you're in the area, be sure to check them out! You won't regret it! Looking forward to visiting them again!
Popped over to irregardless to try this grab and go spot out. They do have a few small tables inside, it's very cozy. You order, give a name and honestly they run like a well oiled machine and have an amazing system so you wait maybe 10 mins for your order. Everyone inside working was happy and friendly!! I will be back for more biscuits!!
I came back to Irregardless Biscuit after a long time since my first time on a Sunday around 2:30pm. Thankfully, they haven't sold out of items. I ordered the green tomato biscuit and added hash brown. The biscuit had a fried green tomato, smoked tomato aioli, house pickles, and arugula. It was absolutely delicious and I enjoyed it so much. Every bite was heavenly, crispy and juicy, and packed with flavor. My husband got the pork roll with cooper sharp cheese and housemates sauce. He enjoyed his biscuit as well. The biscuit was soft and fresh. Even though the staff had a long day of servicing customers, they were still very friendly and welcoming.
Absolutely fantastic. It's a small place, with just a few tables inside to sit at but it's well worth a stop in to get some of these amazing biscuits. We walked in for lunch and there was a long line and quite a few people waiting to get their meals. Thankfully only one of the tables was being occupied so we were able to sit and eat in the restaurant. I ordered the BAT and an iced coffee. They have simple syrup and milk and oat milk available. The iced coffee was good but I forgot I can't have coffee without my heart feeling like it's going to explode so I gave it to my husband and ordered a chicory (NOLA) one. It already comes sweetened and with milk and it was super tasty. The bat was extremely delicious with perfectly cooked thick cut bacon and a deliciously salted heirloom or hothouse tomato. The biscuit itself was soft but also crunchy with a pillowy interior. Just the perfect biscuit. My husbands chicken one was super good as well. He liked his hot coffee but gave it up for my cold one. The people working here were super friendly and efficient. I wish I could come eat here once a week.
standout breakfast biscuits in providence! the service is pretty quick, and as the place is pretty small, most people just grab and go. i got the sausage egg and cheese biscuit, and the biscuit was fluffy and warm, but the most standout ingredient was the sausage. it was juicy and delicious, unlike any sausage i've had before. if you eat there, there is housemade hot honey and hot sauce, both of which are great additions to the sandwiches.
Cutie little spot with a short and simple menu, but everything is delicious. They have sweet or savory options, and everything is centered around their fantastic biscuits. Tiny shop, always has a line but everyone is kind and friendly and the service is fast. The kitchen staff is so impressive and the owner always greets everyone like they're a regular. Only a few seating options but that's really my only complaint. I love that they are so dog friendly, I always meet cute pup visitors when we get breakfast here. Great food, great vibes, great staff. Also!! Try one of their special cookies!!! So good
Irregardless has an incredible amount of hype when it first opened, and at the time, perhaps they were not prepared for the volume of customers, but sometimes the quality of their breakfast sandwiches were inconsistent. Now, with a steady stream of customers rather than a massive rush, Irregardless has improved their menu, and streamlined their process. The biscuit sandwiches can speak for themselves but what I think may be a hidden gem is their iced coffee with chicory. It's served with a tiny cookie, and it's always a pleasure to have a milky coffee with another sweet treat. The shop is very small but if you're willing to hover for a little bit, seats open up as most people do not dwell more than 15-20min. Parking can be tight so be warned about that!
Great little spot to grab a quick bite in the morning. We were able to just walk in and order our sandwiches. They were ready within five minutes and they tasted delicious. Service was super kind. Definitely recommend stopping here if you're in the area. read more

I have been waiting to try this place! Tried a couple of weekends ago and the line was 20 people deep so today I planned ahead and arrived close to opening. The line does move quickly! I consider myself a biscuit elitist, a non-New Englander who grew up with southern food. These biscuits deliver! Well cooked, nice crust, not overly greasy. The portion of food is worth about $10 a biscuit! We got hashbrowns as well, and the cashier recommended cheese sauce. I honestly didn't find much use for the cheese sauce with my meal but took it home and ate it up later with some chips! We did the fried green tomato biscuit (added bacon) and the Howard. I'm a sucker for a fried green tomato and this hit the spot. Will be back to try others! read more

Hands down the best resteraunt around. They bake their biscuits fresh every few minutes so they are always warm and soft. EVERY.SINGLE.ITEM on the menu is spectacular. This is definitely a place you need to stop at. Great vibe, friendly, fast service. I just can't say enough about how fantastic this place is! read more
Best biscuit sandwich I've had in Rhode Island, I think. The fillings feel luxurious and generous. The bacon in the biscuit sandwich was a THICK cut. I waited about 30 minutes in line starting at 9:30 and I'd say, it was worth the wait. The line ebbs and flows in the wait time, depending on when you get there. Bring a friend, chat while on line (it moves at a relatively decent pace--that kitchen is MOVING), and it's a really good way to start off your weekend morning. read more
Irregardless is a must visit, but get there before they open because they sell out way earlier than there posted closing time. The sandwich I got was Phil's biscuit with a piece of fried chicken that was smothered in sausage gravy. ($10) Very good overall and the gravy was tasty, but the quality of the chicken was not great. The chicken wasn't that juicy and there were some tough pieces. The exterior was crispy though. However, the biscuit was no joke. It was so buttery, so airy, pretty large and just perfection. So everything was 10 out of 10 except the chicken. They have other sandwiches and you can get just the biscuit with some butter and hot honey for only $4. read more
It's been a long six month wait for the opening of Irregardless Biscuit since they closed their pop up and announced their brick and mortar location. The quality is EXACTLY the same, if not better. Do anticipate a wait in line for the first few weeks after opening, but trust that it is worth it. I've literally never had a fried chicken biscuit as good. All the staff is so friendly and humbled with the chaos of opening week. The shop fits about 4 tables but go early if you want to snag a seat. Everything is perfectly seasoned and made with love. Across the street there is a parking lot that does have some designated spots, but street parking wasn't an issue. So happy they are open again and already can't wait to go back next week! read more
The absolute best biscuits I've ever had! Visited this morning with friends and we arrived about 20 minutes before opening as we heard the line can get long and they often sell out. We were the first customers of the day and we placed our order at the counter. Our food was ready quickly and we stepped outside to enjoy the warm morning weather. My fried chicken biscuit was heavenly. The chicken thigh was juicy& tender and was encased in seasoned crispy batter. The biscuit itself was light & flakey, flavorful, and perfectly wonderful. My husband ordered the Howard, which he greatly enjoyed and the thick cut bacon was outstanding. Besides the biscuits, we also ordered lemonade, which was tasty and served with a cute little cookie on top. Although we chose to eat outside, there is a small seating area of about 4 tables, and it was very pleasant inside the restaurant. Loved visiting Irregardless Biscuit today and I can't wait to go back! read more

Irregardless Biscuit is a spot that should certainly be held in high regards! It's a small place with about 4 tables inside, so it definitely gives that hole-in-the-wall vibe. But these are the type of eateries that are usually the best! The employees are all super nice and friendly, and I found the inside to be very clean. I've been here twice now and have tried the Howard's Biscuit, the Fried Green Tomato sandwich, and a bite of Phil's Biscuit, which my husband ordered. Starting with the Howard's Biscuit that I ordered on my most recent visit, this is just a classically delicious biscuit breakfast sandwich. It's the first one listed on the menu under Signature Biscuits, and I must say, it did not disappoint. The biscuit was the perfect balance of light and firm. It had a bit of crunch of the outside, but was soft on the inside. It also held up well against those massive thick-cut bacon slices. The combination of egg, bacon, cheese, and maple syrup will always be a homerun; put that between 2 halves of a homemade biscuit and that's a grand slam. The Fried Green Tomato sandwich is what I ordered during my first time here. This sandwich came with fried green tomatoes, pickles, arugula, and a sriracha aioli, and I added an egg to make it breakfast. While I loved the flavors here, I thought the batter on the tomatoes was a bit too thick and fried for my taste, and my biscuit was more crunchy than flakey, which was a texture I didn't expect (or hope for). But, the biscuit on my husband's sandwich was much softer and more of what I wanted out of a house made biscuit. Maybe this had to do with the type of toppings on the sandwich? (The Phil's Biscuit comes with fried chicken and sausage gravy). Either way, that didn't stop me from returning to this spot, and I still think Irregardless Biscuit deserves a 5-star rating. read more

Nice quick breakfast spot. The inside is super duper small but we waited outside and a server brought our food out in a bag. Food came out super quickly. We noticed a lot of people grabbed their food and ate in their cars or to go. read more

Biscuits are fluffy and moist. There's often a line but they work through it quickly. There's place is tight but that's expectable because it's always so packed. I really enjoyed this place. Definitely will come back. read more
When it comes to biscuits I'm more of a bottom, bottom slice that is. Irregardless Biscuit has flaky, fluffy, and buttery biscuits that you can sandwich around egg and cheese, fried chicken, sausage gravy, or just by itself with butter. We ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese and Phil's Biscuit which had fried chicken and sausage gravy. Both of our sandwiches were so delicious and filling. The hash browns were excellent, just the right amount of crunch on the outside. I loved the toffee chocolate chip cookie as well. The shop has tables inside but they are small and very close to one another. I would say this is more of a to-go place. read more

THE COOKIE was amazing! I'm def coming back for another toffee cookie - the sugar and toffee melted together perfectly. And I'm not even a big cookie person, but this one was so good. The phil biscuit was great too, and I'd never tried Southern breakfast before. Plus, the people working there were really nice. There's few table seating and window bar seats. read more

Best breakfast sandwich...ever?! The bacon-fuccckkkk-just get it. The chicken was insanely moist-sorry, I know people hate that word. Line moves quick and your food comes out even faster. Ive been trying to find a hibiscus iced tea like they use to serve at Winna Winna and at last I have found it. Loved the extra special touch of the thin cookie on top. My only regret was not getting some plain biscuits with that strawberry butter to have for later. Will be back, probably tomorrow. read more

We had Irregardless Biscuit cater our brunch this weekend and WOW--absolutely incredible! The Howard sandwich was everything--savory, satisfying, and perfectly cooked. That maple bacon? Insane. Sweet, smoky, and totally addictive. And the marshmallow hot coco cookies... next-level delicious. Every item was wrapped individually, arrived hot, and clearly made with care. Glad there's a breakfast place in this spot again. It's mainly a biscuit shop, as suggested by the name. I got the fried chicken biscuit with honey. The biscuit was delicious and quite filling, though in retrospect I should have gotten the honey on the side. I would get the biscuit with sausage and gravy next time. The space inside is small, and there might be a little wait before the food comes, but overall, it's worth it. The service is great. read more

I have been searching for a biscuit like this for as long as I can remember. The kind of biscuit that is firm but delicate and able to be picked up with both hands without breaking apart. The biscuits they put out meet All of that criteria and more. The amount of buttery goodness you get with each bite is unreal. You can tell the use incredible products and really care about the end result that they are putting out. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with their candied bacon on it and it was superb. I also had a plain biscuit with jam and butter and it was amazing. Such a cute and lovely spot for an amazing breakfast, just get there early as they are open until they sell out. read more

OK apparently yelp took down my review which I later realized was reviewed as I was signed in automatically by google so maybe that is why yelp thought I was paid to give my not so expert opinion on the wonderfulness of this restaurant. Now logged into this account that I have been doing for over a decade so that I can remember wonderful places that I eat when I travel so please keep this up yelp. :) Let's start with the friendliness and warmth of the people here that is apparent the minute you walk in the door. This is what I love about eating at a restaurant is a menu with simple delicious ingredients done with absolute perfection. We have eaten here three days in a row now and everything has been wonderful. The maple chicken sausage was outstanding. The hot honey chicken ranks on Mount Rushmore of chicken biscuits along with Papa Jacks in Buford, Ga, Biscuit love in Nashville and my own grandma Christine. A tiny place tucked away in a corner making biscuits and playing old hiphop? I feel attacked. Some friends told us about this, as they know that I have strong feelings about biscuits as a southerner. I wasn't exactly disappointed, but I wasn't blown away either. I ordered a biscuit sandwich, which was around $10. It was really a lot larger than it needed to be, and the addition of maple syrup made it even harder to handle. It was alright, but the biscuits are dry on top. There are also just too many things going on at once; there's egg, sausage, cheese, maple syrup, and all of the grease makes the biscuit want to return to dough. In the end, the bite is just not very pleasant. I know everyone wants to portray southern food as this "hey y'all" excess, but it gets old. It seems that someone here has tried really hard to nail lard/buttermilk biscuits (even though they still need to be dialed in), but then they've been let down by the impulse to shove twenty different southern cuisine tropes into one biscuit. I would honestly be willing to try again here, but I would likely just get a solo biscuit. They do have a really nice New Orleans-style iced coffee that even comes with a little cookie that's like an homage to Winston-Salem Moravian cookies and New Orleans stage planks all in one. All I can say is OMG! This place is the bomb. I have been wanting to go for a long time and I finally did. The bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit was to die for! So good.
