lobster mac n' cheese & mashed potatoes

My coworkers and I had a great dinner at Ironwood! The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was friendly and helpful from start to finish. We tried the chislic, which wasn't our favorite, but the steaks made up for it--everyone's was cooked perfectly and tasted great. For sides, we ordered the mashed potatoes and the lobster mac n' cheese, and both were delicious. We finished with the bread pudding for dessert, which was rich but very good! Overall, Ironwood is definitely on the pricier side, but we enjoyed our experience and would recommend it for a nice night out.

Ironwood is a top notch experience! Every aspect of our dinner from the ambiance, food, and service were spectacular. My husband and I ordered the melt in your mouth bone marrow , delectable lobster Mac and cheese , the juicy roast chicken, and tender filet mignon. Each dish was a showstopper. Our waiter, Chad also delivered exceptional service throughout the night and despite being busy he remembered our names and was engaged in our conversation throughout the night. I highly recommend Ironwood restaurant in Sioux Falls!

Ironwood has always had a special place in my heart since the day they opened. I love the atmosphere I absolutely love the character of how everyone holds themselves. They are like family to the people that have come in often. That feeling always holds a special place especially when it comes to dining out. Tonight I ordered the scallops, I ordered these as well last Thursday, (I had an amazing experience last Thursday and my scallops were perfect. Actually amazing.) But tonight, unfortunately I wasn't impressed. And I feel more disappointed. The last five times I have eaten as a guest at ironwood I have had nothing but good things to say. But here is the thing, mistakes happen. But also maybe my pallet has changed in the last couple of days. There are so many factors that can determine the experience. So long story short, at the end of a story, I will forever have ironwood as my go to in town based on atmosphere, service, and food. I give them five out of five stars every-time except for tonight and those odds are 1 and 200+meals. I recommend ironwood for any occasion, wedding, engagement, girls night, date night, drinks, chill, literally everything. I recommend I hope to hear that your experience has been. Just as good if not better than my own.

What an amazing experience. My husband and I came for our one year anniversary and it has always been such an unexpected gem here in Sioux Falls. My second time here and I am sold. The grilled oysters were fantastic!! We had the ribeye and the 1/2 pound of king crab and we loved it. Our server was Aliyah and she was the sweetest and most accommodating server we have had in such a long time. I would honestly come back again just to see her. Thanks for everything!

Literally, one of the best places I've ever ate everything melted in my mouth. The service was outstanding.

Great food, great service, great ambiance. It is pricey compared to its counterparts in town but overall great experience. It would be a great place during the summer where you can overlook Falls Park when there is light out.

Took the Wifie here for dinner today for our anniversary. The waiter, and wait staff were top notch. They knew the menu and recommended some delicious meal items that were prepared perfectly. Wife had the French Onion soup, and Steak Diane, and I had the Japanese Wagu with butter whipped potatoes. For desert we had New York cheese cake, and a flowerless chocolate cake. The ambience is perfect with scenic views of the river, and the upper falls. A bit pricey if economy is your thing, but I highly recommend if you want an over the top dining experience.

    Caprese salad

I had brussels sprouts delicious. We also had shrimp cocktail and the Caprese salad. Everything was fabulous. Our waiter was very knowledgeable. I have a dairy allergy. He went over the menu with me very thoroughly to let me know what I could eat or not.

Today I had the lunch combo $12 which was eight wings, side, and a drink. I tried the secret chili flavor. It showed 1 red pepper for spiciness. Well, I didn't find it spicy at all, but that's okay it was still tasty. I think it is suppose to be sweet & heat. It was good and I would order it again. The soy garlic wings and honey garlic wings are also good choices! The lady working at the register is always nice and friendly. I've seen her everytime I've been here. The restaurant has always been clean including the bathroom which is good, because you know if the bathrooms are dirty their kitchen probably is too! And that's no bueno! Good place to eat. There are good selection of Korean food, I tried their kimchi noodle soup and the spicy fried chicken, the food is not authentic Korean food. The noodle soup is like instant noodle, broth had no flavor basically just Kimchi flavor in it and some vegetable thrown inside. The size of the chicken wings are big, have to amid that it's fresh and crunchy, but the sauce is not spicy and we also had the mala flavor it taste just like soy sauce nothing mala about it. The Bibimbap is also very bland. Its only good if you want a quick fix of some wings It's self service, I didn't know that so I tipped normal amount for sit down service without knowing visiting for the first time. They didn't have to put tips option on the check if its self service tho.

The menu seems to be delicious, and honestly something Sioux Falls needs. I have always craved a salad place and it is nice to have the option now! The parking can be difficult. The North side of the building now has signage that dictates not to park there due to tenants. It was busy, so we had to park a ways away and cross the road. The difficult part about dining here is the table space as the dining room is shared by other businesses. We were able to find a table, but it can be difficult if busy.

Best part besides on settling on BROSIA BOWL to try for the first time, was only seeing adults roaming about, and no loud children. I will definitely return. I ordered the very filling Fatija Bowl...when i was ready to pay, i sort of felt like the $16.95 total, after adding on the avocado slices, was high in price. That, is, until i brought it home. The enormous amount of high quality of food that was generously piled high and deep. I finished the amazing bowl of rice, chicken and great crunch of large cilantro stems, truly brought the dish together. 5 STAR REVIEW for stumbling upon this ah-maze-ball restaurant. You begin to recognize what authentic and distinctive flavors are actually supposed to taste like. And unfortunately, you also become very aware when something simply doesn't quite hit the mark. Pho Thai is quite popular in Sioux Falls and now has several locations around the city, so naturally my husband and I wanted to give it a try. Sioux Falls is still developing its international food scene compared to places like Phoenix, where we previously lived, so we are always hopeful when we hear good things about a local spot. The experience overall was unfortunately pretty underwhelming. The food wasn't terrible, but most of it felt very middle-of-the-road and lacked the distinctive flavor profiles that make Thai and Vietnamese cuisine so memorable. We tried a variety of dishes along with appetizers like the pot stickers, which were perfectly edible, but fairly generic overall. Some of the food throughout the meal seemed either slightly underdone or overdone, which made the kitchen execution feel inconsistent. The noodles themselves were fine, but again, nothing really stood out. That's honestly the recurring issue we had with most of the meal: nothing was actively offensive, but almost nothing made us excited either. It felt less like carefully crafted regional cuisine and more like food designed to play things very safely. I think if you have limited exposure to Thai or Vietnamese food, especially in smaller Midwestern cities, you may enjoy this place much more than we did. For Sioux Falls, it is probably considered one of the better available options. But for us, after experiencing truly wonderful versions of these cuisines in larger cities and abroad, this just didn't compare. Still searching for that authentic spark over here. Nonetheless, the restaurant was clean, busy, and satisfactory enough for a casual meal. Just not somewhere we'd personally rank very highly.
