Jackie scheduled my appointments (you can only have 1 MRI per day, insurance rules not theirs) Jackie was able to schedule me for both at times that were really convenient for me. She was so helpful. I liked that you're sent a text with detailed instructions on what to wear, where to park once you get there and a link with directions. Parking is a snap, the facility is super clean, and the staff is very nice. My tech Alexandra was a doll. She made sure i was comfortable before starting the test and if i needed anything to speak up as she's able to hear from her office. I would highly recommend Advanced Imaging Center in Newark to anyone who needs an MRI

And that he was nice enough to give us a CD for free... But would have to charge us about $50 for the films since there is so many. Very unprofessional and unethical experience. Do not recommend.

I decided to reschedule for a Saturday morning at 9am (when they open) and the office was locked and nobody answered the phone for 30 minutes. No wonder this is a tier 3 facility. This operation epitomizes the saying "you get what you pay for", unfortunately it's been 3 weeks since I made contact and I haven't gotten a single thing from this place other than loss of wages for time off. They would charge me if I didn't show up for an appointment so they should compensate me since they didn't show up either. If there is any other option in NJ, take it and don't look back.

Complete Incompetence and Total Disregard for Patients…read more New Jersey Imaging Network is hands down one of the most disorganized and unprofessional businesses I have ever dealt with. They changed my appointment three times without notifying me. Every time I called to confirm, they couldn't even find my information. When I showed up after taking a full day off work, they still had no idea who I was. I was forced to repeat my phone number and email over and over to multiple staff members who clearly had no clue what they were doing--constant holds, transfers, and excuses. As a result of their incompetence, I lost $500 in wages for absolutely nothing. Twice I was given the wrong address and I even told them 445 Chestnut St. in Edison New Jersey is an empty field. Twice they told me Edison New Jersey when it is Union New Jersey! This place is run by mental midgets who I would never ever never recommend them to anyone unless I really didn't like the person. Their three-star rating makes sense--this appears to be a pattern, not a fluke. Do not go here. If you value your time, your job, or basic professionalism, take your business elsewhere. This place is a complete mess. There are much better places to get an open air MRI for a CAT scan there are some great ones in Edison New Jersey that have nothing to do with this place you could find some in New Brunswick as well stay away from NJIN Union New Jersey and the morons that work at this place. I used to come here back when it was Montclair Radiology and the location is super convenient for me, but this is the last time I'll be coming here after repeated poor experiences. First, online scheduling. I must have uploaded my information 6 times -- they keep asking you to upload your personal documents repeatedly. Arrived there 15 mins ahead of appointment time as requested. Had to register once, they took my personal identification from me, then got called to a desk and STILL had to fill out additional paperwork. No one communicates with you about what's happening -- other patients waiting explained to me, oh, they're taking your ID and then you'll be called up to the desk. Waited 45 mins. after my appointment, so total of an hour from their requested arrival time. This was an appointment early in the morning too. The waiting room was already full of people with few seats by time I was called. Routine mammogram, was fine for what it was. In and out in 10 minutes. The whole process of making you wait foreever, making you give documents repeatedly, and poor communication throughout makes you feel like livestock, not a human. Nevermind them charging you extra for AI-aided exams. It's a personnel savings for them, but because insurance companies don't cover AI exam reading yet, they pass along the cost to the customer. Poor move and no, did not opt for this. Told me results would be posted to my portal in 24-48 hours. Going on day 5 here and no results yet. Tried calling and you cannot reach a human. They make you leave a message to get a call back. Records aren't reflected on my doctor's portal either so I have no way to learn about my results. Lovely way to add stress to my week. I live so close to this location, in fact, that I know they are not good neighbors to the people who live in surrounding properties in a residential neighborhood. Their employees have nowhere to park so they park too close to driveways which creates blindspots pulling into traffic. They extended their hours much later than the former owners and there are delivery trucks, landscaping, snow removal people who literally show up with loud trucks in the middle of the night. Have had several similar experiences in the past with waits, not being able to reach anyone over the phone, etc. Continued to come for the convenience of the location, but never, ever, ever again will I return.

The receptionist was efficient, though not overly pleasant, which is not a big deal. (Hey, I wouldn't want to start dealing with all types of patients beginning at 8 a.m. either!) The imaging technician was lovely and patient, explaining what was going to happen and making conversation, which made the entire visit fly by. (She's the reason for four stars instead of three.) The CT scanner appeared to be state of the art, while the x-ray machine also seemed to be of a current generation. It was a pleasure to undergo two sets of imaging procedures, and I was in and out within 20 minutes.
