I've been coming here for my yearly Mammogram since moving to Staten Island. I have no complaints it serves its purpose.

I had a really great experience here for an MRI. They also confirmed my appointment twice. Quick and efficient.

My wife came here for a thoracic mri…read more The process of getting the mri done was smooth and hassel free, but the real issues came aftwards. She came here becase she has severe back pain, and the doctor wanted to see what was going on. Scolosis is a known issue of hers, but they wanted to see what else was going on. The report came to the docs office several days later, and to the docs surprise, the report said everything looked normal; no scolosis, no bulges, nothing. The doc asked that we get the films so she can review. My wife goes to the imaging place, and has to argue to get a copy of the films. Films go to doc, doc sees scolosis, herniations, disc degenerations etc. My wife calls the imaging place to just let them know what happened, and the owner was arguing with her and getting defensive. He barely let her get a word in, even though all she wanted to do was let them know about the error in the report. I got on the phone with him, raised my voice a little, and told him to get new radiologists. the location was very convenient, but not worth all the other issues we encountered.

My experience with Richmond Imaging has been summarily unsatisfactory. With the plethora of…read moreavailable service providers in the healthcare industry today I would advise that you seek treatment elsewhere. After initially scheduling an appointment I was contacted by the office manager. She informed me that I would be required to pay a few hundred dollars up front in cash for my MRI (knee). Since I am fully insured I was surprised to hear this and asked the office manager to explain why this was necessary. She didn't explain the reasoning behind my supposedly required payment but made sure to make it sound as if I was somehow better off paying this money up front as opposed to having the procedure billed through my insurance. She even indicated that she had spoken to a healthcare rep from my plan on my behalf and learned that I had not yet fulfilled my deductible. At that moment I simply agreed to her proposal and made an immediate call to my healthcare provider. They assured me that I would simply be responsible for 20% of the procedure as billed since I had already met my deductible and indicated that I should under no circumstances be paying up front for ANY procedure. On the day of my appointment the office was late opening by approximately 15 minutes (I had the first available appointment of the day). After informing the staff at the front desk that no up front payment was forthcoming and filling out the necessary paperwork I was seen shortly thereafter. The technician was pleasant and competent. No problems there. The amount I was eventually billed by my insurance provider was less than half the amount the office manager originally proposed that I pay them.

I started seeing Dr. Guirguis at PDC ultrasound this September. This is my first pregnancy. I am…read moreType 1 diabetic so I knew that I needed to see a specialist with high risk in pregnancy and diabetes. Dr. Guirguis was recommended to me by someone else who was diabetic and they had a great experience so I figured I would give the office a try. His computer system is able to link up with my NYU computer system so he is able to see all of my sugars just like my endocrinologist. I have had the greatest experiences so far. Doctor Guirguis immediately lets you know that you can reach him at any time with any questions or emergencies and he means that. This is something that I don't think most doctors are willing to offer patients. I reached Dr. Guirguis via texting and phone calls for a few scares & the office immediately let me come in that day for an emergency scan. I don't think many places do this. I was also able to reach him after with follow up photos and updates. I also reached Dr. Guirguis when it came to scares with genetic testing. He immediately guided me on what my husband and I needed to do in order to get the right testing done quickly. After speaking with the office, I realized that the doctor was answering me about this via text while on a vacation out of the country and I had no idea. The office workers are great. Jennifer at the front desk is always so pleasant, and keeps you upbeat and happy while taking your bloodwork. They take your blood and send it out there so you don't need to go to a separate lab. My big anatomy sonogram scans have been done with Raquel. She is fun, pleasant, answers every question you need and lets you know exactly what she sees. She allows you to leave with pictures, and I always leave happier than I went in. My emergency scans have been done with Blenda. She is amazing! She has kept me completely calm twice when I could be in a big panic. She is gentle, kind, and understands the scare of being a new mom. She also answers any question you need on the spot. Again, I have always left feeling better after working with her. I do not have enough nice things to say so far about this office. Looking forward to all of my following appointment appointments up until May with them.

I never once felt rushed during a sonogram, and any questions I had were always answered thoughtfully and with genuine understanding. Nothing was ever overlooked. When I was told there was a concern for potential IUGR, Dr. George recommended that I come in twice a week. At the time, it felt like a lot--but now I fully understand why. He didn't want to take any chances. He was incredibly attentive, proactive, and on top of my situation right up until I gave birth. He carefully analyzed every angle and helped determine the best and safest route for my delivery. Toward the end of my pregnancy, I wound up having very low fluid and my baby wasn't getting enough nutrients. Because of the frequent monitoring, this was caught at the right time, and it truly made all the difference for both me and my baby. I went on to have a great delivery and a healthy baby, which I am endlessly grateful for. Even after delivery, Dr. George came in to check on me and my baby. His warmth, compassion, and genuine care are truly unmatched. The entire staff at PDC reflects that same level of kindness and professionalism. Booking appointments was always easy, communication was seamless, and my needs were consistently met. Even to this day, Dr. George and I have a wonderful relationship. He will always feel like family to me, and I will forever be grateful for the care he gave me and my baby. I cannot recommend PDC Ultrasound highly enough.

When I left, I had on the same clothes I came in wearing - because they never gave me a gown AND my clothes were covered in dried blood from 2 IVs that were done so poorly that I was soaked in my own blood. After three days these Stroke "EXPERTS" had no idea what was wrong with me. they said I did NOT have a stroke or even a mini stroke, but they had NO IDEA what happened to me. The staff is not only utterly incompetent, but extremely UNFRIENDLY on top of their horrendous medical services! The worst hospital I HAD EVER been in was in Roswell, New Mexico UNTIL I went to RUMC, now I look much more kindly on the New Mexico experience (which was pretty bad!) Hospitals are place you go to heal... RUMC is a place you go to get worst or even end up dying!!! IT IS A HELLHOLE!
