Regional Radiology is a great place for MRIs and radiological needs. The staff was welcoming and professional upon entering. Theres plenty of comfortable waiting space and facility is large and getting appointment was rather simple. There's a large parking lot for convenience. Ashley my radiologist was patient and she explained step by step what was going to happen. I received results in less than a couple hours. Highly recommend Regional Radiology. read more

I can not believe how bad the service is at the entire facility. Ultra sounds are only done 1 day per week and they are backed up over 7 months for a mamo + Ultra. Any Ultra sound needed is months backed up. I had a mamo days ago and nobody has looked at my scans. Not sure who is in charge but I am seriously considering getting my records and going to Verrazzano. read more

WHY do they only perform mamo/sonos on Mondays? There isn't an appointment available until NOVEMBER 2024!!! This is ridiculous. Regional MUST start adding more days to perform these scans. Time to start going elsewhere - most likely the city where staff is friendlier and schedules are easier. read more

I went to the Outer bridge facility I've been there before several years ago. The mammo tech was ok but the Sono tech wasn't friendly at all. I tried making conversation got no response so I kept quiet. I understand they have a schedule but it wouldn't hurt to make someone feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. read more

I have come here so many times over the years for different X-Rays. They do not accept appointments unless it for certain types of procedures. I usually walk in and wait no longer then 30 minutes to be seen by the X-Ray tech. Everybody I have come across in this place over the years has been extremely friendly and helpful. They do have several other locations on the island but I have only used this particular one. Definitely would use them if you need any of the services they provide. read more

We had to wait 2 HOURS for a simple X-Ray that took 3 minutes to make. The radiologists are very nice, but they are not well staffed. Be ready to wait a ridiculous amount of time for an x-ray. The front desk attendants were not very friendly either, they were annoyed when more patients came in. The facilities are dull and cold, ugh, not going back there =( read more

Upon enter the reception desk was a pleasure however the check in room with Laurie was not ! totally clueless how to put stuff into computer tied me up over 30 min then I go back to empty waiting room a man walks in for x ray so done else checked him in and he was called in while Laurie was busy with her pocket phone I waited another 15 for man to be done. The X-ray tech was wonderful and quick. I called them a few weeks ago to make an appointment for a sonogram. I asked if I could do it at the Richmond Ave location, which I was told was fine. They called me back a few days ago, telling me my appointment time has changed, which wasn't really a big deal for me. I went to the Richmond Ave location, and was told that they don't do sonograms there, and that my appointment was actually at the location on Bard Ave. That information would've been great to know *before* I drove 30 minutes to get to the Richmond Ave location. They said I could still go to Bard, but that I'd have to wait until they could see me. Of course, this was not an option for me because of transportation (35 minutes away), but also because I was asked to drink 40oz of water and "hold it in" for my appointment. It was simply not humanly possible to hold it in for an indefinite amount of time while waiting for an appointment. I've decided that whatever health problem I have is less important than having to deal with the incompetence I experienced from the staff here - canceled my appointment and will never come back. How difficult is it to tell someone the address when confirming an appointment? I even received a text confirming the Richmond Ave address for my appointment! read more

Inconsiderate staff. Told I didn't need an appointment, just walk in.When I arrived I asked how long was my wait. I went up to the counter and asked again and was told shortly twice. Total wait was 1hr and 15 minutes. If they are too busy they should have at least told me so. You shouldn't treat people that way. read more

Quick, prompt service, great staff. I moved from Staten Island and still come back for my mammography.

Clean and professional group. This was the only place that had the larger bore MRI machines. I'm not a large person (5/10 195lb) but the traditional MRI machine would be tight on my shoulders and the top of the machine as basically a few inches from my face. This group has a larger machine that does not touch your sides and is about 6 inches away from your face. The techs were great and making you feel comfortable in the machine and talk to you through the headset. Would highly recommend to anyone that has been through the ordeal of a regular MRI. Never had a problem when coming for my mammo and the girls are always sweet and attentive. The place itself is very big and they offer free coffee and water which is nice. It can be a bit scary to go but the atmosphere and techs do make you feel at ease. read more

I just spent 2 hours at your Outerbridge location. The office staff originally scheduled my appointment for 4/28/16, but rescheduled me for today because apparently I needed some sort of other testing. I asked them if it was going to be an issue with the insurance because my last scan was 4/25/15, and the new appointment is less than a year, and they said no. I get there today, sign in, ushered into the back, change into my robe, and 45 minutes later I'm told now it might be a problem and I'm given two options: 1) sign this form saying I understand and I'm responsible if the insurance company doesn't pay or 2) call the insurance company myself to verify my insurance. I worked at a doctor's office for 2 years. It was always the office staff's job to verify patients insurances. I said no, I'm not signing anything, and you're going to call my insurance company. I hang out for another 45 minutes, and then I get dressed and head out to the front desk area because no one is telling me anything. Lo and behold they are still on the phone with my insurance company. Finally, someone gets off the phone, and tells me that yeah, sorry, they aren't going to cover this scan if I'm getting it today. It took all of my self control not to flip out all over the waiting room. I just rescheduled for next week. I might bring my husband along with me and you're staff is going to have to deal with him if anything else goes wrong. read more
