I would have given them five stars. The only thing that stopped me was I moved literally 2 miles away and for some reason they disappeared for about 40 minutes. Everything was already on the truck. It was already packed. I'm not sure, but that did cost extra money. It's a six minute ride if you hit all the red lights I realized they have to drive slower so maybe 10 minutes. Still happy with them how they took care of my furniture. The price ended up being $100 maybe a bit more than I expected because of the time it took them to come over I would still use them again..

He spoke to the mover who was assigned to our project and corrected him. I appreciated his attitude and willingness to make it right. He said it was not their company's practice to add last minute charges but sometimes a few of their moving guys act on their own accord to add charges. He apologized and refunded me and offered to refund the tip as well (which I elected not to do). ----------------------------------- We used this company after getting quoted in advance using a video meeting with Mark. We were moving within the same zip code (2 miles away) and their quote was reasonable and similar to others. They were willing to send 3 guys which some companies won't do (they only send 2 or 4 so they can partner up). This company seems to use a bid low and then bait and switch strategy. The movers were in the middle of the moving an empty 8 drawer dresser and the lead guy decided it was heavy. After they moved it, he came to me and told me there would be a bulky item charge of $150 for this item. I asked what defined a bulky item and he said it was just very heavy and said they had to take it down the steps (all of which were discussed in advance and even listed out in our contract). During the quote, I was told by this company and others that same zip code quotes (we moved 3 miles approx 12 min driving on the day of the move) would not have double drive time added to the quote, but at the end the moving team insisted this was not the case if they drove more than 15 min. He insisted he would have to charge me double for drive time (rounded up first and then doubled). I think he kept the drive timer running to get over 15' min then they claimed they have to double the drive time. They rounded 16 min up to 30 min and then doubled it so I was charged for 60 min of drive time when in fact it was 12 or so. He said it was in the terms and conditions which he had me sign on his iPhone at the beginning of the move without giving me the chance to read any of the text. At the end of the move I just wanted to be done with it, so I didn't argue too much, but the fact that they essentially added $500 or so of various extras was pretty infuriating. The driver then insisted that I should tip them. We have moved 3 times within San Diego in the last 10 years, so I have some point of comparison and I would look elsewhere. If you choose this company, make sure you account for a couple hundred extra to the quote since they will find a way to do that. The service was decent. The guys worked decently hard but not particularly fast. They were not super careful when wrapping and moving, but nothing got majorly damaged. We did end up with some wall nicks in our brand new place.

He started by telling me he needed to pack the TV in boxes and would charge me extra. Which I replied to by telling him he can cover with a blanket and Saran Wrap, which he ended up doing. But not after arguing. I called my fiancé to come speak to them as I felt uncomfortable, my fiancé asked him about his attitude and comments, and he quickly retracted, saying he only gets paid $20 per hour. Why is this my business when I'm getting charged $85/hr? My fiancé then asked if he had any issues with the move that we could just cancel all together. Elmurod never replied, but they proceeded with the move. During the six hours they were there, Elmurod was constantly on his phone. They eventually called a third person to help them move. However, upon arriving at our new house, Elmurod said he couldn't move our couch upstairs, it had the same layout as our previous home. We asked Elmurod and the extra mover to try and move the couch, and the other guys said they would. Not only did Elmurod demanded us to pay each man a $50 tip, but he also wanted to be paid upfront, even though they hadn't completed the job. We asked Elmurod to please work on the couch as the final item to be moved. To our surprise, while we waited for them, they simply left and let our couch in the garage and other furniture with our door open. As well as a bunch of packing trash behind. When I contacted their manager I been getting the run around, I shared photos of damaged furniture and shared the additional $190 I had to pay to get our couch moved upstairs. Still no reply and no resolution. I will be filling a claim. Furthermore, our dining table and chair got damaged during the move, even though you pay additional for their insurance they won't honor it. They contacted me and refused to provide a refund for additional movers to complete the move of the left over furniture and also stated they wouldn't provide any money back due to me leaving a negative review.

We didn't quite hit that, but at no point did it feel like anyone was wasting time. The crew hustled the entire job. They listened to how I wanted to prioritize the move. We focused on large furniture first, got all the key items handled, then worked through the rest. Communication was constant. They asked questions, followed direction, and adjusted quickly without any pushback. The team was professional the whole time. No hesitation, even with heavy items or sending things upstairs. Everything was wrapped appropriately, not overdone, just done right. Nothing was damaged, and they were careful with walls and flooring throughout.
