It's really at 4 1/2 but not quite a 5. The Shepherds pie was very good and the chicken pot pie was also good. About 25 or so beers and plenty of TV's. The temperature finally dropped so the outside tables were popular tonight. Lots of burgers and sandwiches to choose from and the ones that passed our table looked very good. My better half and I decided to go to the Irish 31 pub at Seminole Town Center the night of the NCAA'S Final! Wow, what a pleasant surprise. My favorite beers on tap along with many others. Irish whiskeys, Irish Staples like Smithwicks, Harp and others. Ordered potato chip nachos. Delicious! 15 TV's, outside seating and a knowledgeable happy staff put a smile on my face. Been waiting for this place to open.... being Boston Irish...transplanted to fla...am always looking for a good Irish pub or good Irish food.... went for a late lunch and sat outside.... wasn't very busy and server was pleasant and knowledgeable about questions we had about menu. We had fish and chips...pot pie bites and Shepard pie boxtys ....the boxtys are very big and come 3 to an order its shepherd's pie stuffed in a large quantity of mashed potatoes...rolled in breadcrumbs and deep fried ...too much mashed for me but it was served hot and crunchy it was good but not great...pot pie bites were ok but a few seemed under done..... I can't really criticize too much as they haven't been open all that long...opening pains.....hopefully the next time I go they will have corrected the little mistakes.....nice place...needed in this area read more

Food, appearance and staff enthusiasm were all excellent. But. First thing the server asked was if we wanted to know to expect the drink specials. She rattled off the beer specials only to tell us one of the two, the red Irish Ale 31, was not available. She suggested the Smithwicks as a replacement failing to say it was not a special. This went on for several patrons, Citing the red ale as a special and then saying they didn't have it. It got to be something out of the Alice in wonderland tea party. She said management insisted they do it that way. Things went well after that until the end. All of our bills were returned after we paid without any of the change (coins). And I don't mean just a penny or two. Once we realized that, tips decreased. read more

We frequent Seminole mall and have been eyeing this place for a while. When we looked over the menu nothing really stood out. But we were intrigued and figured we'd give it a try. And well, it was pretty blah. The fried pickles had an odd batter. The rueben was just a salt lick. It came with chips (French fries are a $2 up charge, geez). The chips had no taste. You're better off grabbing a bag of Lays. When I asked for ranch to dip the chips in because they were bland, they said it was an additional 65¢ for dressings. I thought she just joking to be honest. Oh, and they ran out of silverware.... again, I thought she was joking. How does that even happen?! Mediocre at best, I will take my business elsewhere. There are way too many better tasting and better priced restaurants in Tampa Bay for me to ever go back to Irish 31. read more

It was okay, not great. The food was okay. I got the Jax burger which was mostly bread. Steak fries had little seasoning. Not really worth the $2 up charge. Decent beer selection. Wait staff all appeared to want to be anywhere but at work. I'd go again maybe, but it's not high on my list. Wife & I stopped in around 7:30 last night for a quick dinner. Service was good, started w/ pot pie bites, then on to bangers & mash and whiskey salmon. Food was good, draft beers were cold. Skipped desert. Nothing was outstanding but it was all good. Lots of easy to see tv's so if there's a game you just gotta see this would be a great choice. I'll be back for the game. read more

We got the Pot Pie Bites and Legendary Boxty for starters and they were a great start to the meal. The sauces for the Boxty were outstanding. The 31 burger was tasty and had a delicious horseradish sauce. The bun was a bit too big for the patty, but it all tasted good. My wife had their wings and thoroughly enjoyed them. Had dinner here tonight before a movie. Great spot to go for drinks pre or post movie. The staff is very friendly, and management is great. Thought I would try someplace new, so I stopped in this place. Great service, sat at bar, very good drinks and food was also very good. I thought it would be solely Irish food, but not. They have American food, Burgers, etc. I'll definitely come back, not very crowded, not sure why. Very positive vibe from staff and like I said food and drink above aver Came back and had regular Ruben, with sliced jalapeños. Excellent. I found out on this trip they have "horse soldier" whiskey. Please if you support our military folks, please order something with their whiskey. If you want the back story, check American freedom distillery online. Not just a place to wet your whistle, there is a great selection of great eats. Got to try their Boxty's an appetizer that is almost a meal in itself. And of course what is an Irish Pub without a great shepard's pie. read more

Identity crisis. There is nothing on the menu that is Irish, nor is any music played Irish. All music played is country or top 40. Nothing wrong with that, but if you come to an Irish bar you expect a whole Irish theme. Would not recommend if looking for an Irish bar. Staff was great but bar and food was far from Irish. Alcohol specials were on everything but Irish, no Guinness, Jameson etc on special. Closest to Irish on menu was Sheppards pie, which is English. read more

I recently visited Irish 31 location in the Seminole City Center. I had plans to meet my family in the center to meet for lunch after doing a little shopping. After a nice round of shopping with my grand daughters and nieces we decided to go to this location for a late lunch. I love Irish pubs and looked forward to the experience. My grand daughters decided to go to the movies so the adults decided to sit at the bar and enjoy a drink and some food while we waited for the girls to finish in the movies. We started with the Afternoon Delight a signature drink of theirs which tasted a bit off to me. I mentioned this to our bartender Claire, and told her it was a bit weird tasting, and was met with a nasty face upon my comment. I asked her for a Ketel one Madras, apparently which she was unfamiliar with as well. I politely told her what the ingredients were, and again I was given such a horrible attitude. Which even was apparent to my two guests who were with me at the bar. I finally got my drink but it was made with the wrong juices. But at this point I didn't even say anything because I wanted nothing more to do with her very bad attitude. I shrugged it off, we all have bad days and maybe that was the case here. We went ahead and ordered a few appetizers after our drinks which were pretty good, we had the boxties and their Boneless Wings. Both were pretty tasty and my group thoroughly enjoyed both selections. All except for the part about eating them without silverware. This time my niece very pleasantly asked for three sets of silverware for all of us. I figured this may result in a better more polite response maybe with myself removed from the situation. But what do you know , once again "little miss personality" acted as if she was so put out in getting us dining utensils and flashed us a face of disgust as if our request was such an inconvenience to her and took her away from her very busy bar duties. ( We were 3 of 5 people total at the bar). 3 strikes you are out!!!!! I am a very compassionate and patient individual and I always cut people breaks especially when it comes to the food service industry knowing just how hard the public can be to deal with, but every attempt made by myself or one of my very friendly group was met with hostility and a horrible attitude. Food was great, the restaurant and atmosphere was very nice. Bartender's service, attitude, and drink prowess was deplorable and the only thing wrong with our visit. Management may want to think about their bartending choices in the future. And the bartender's only other 2 patrons had a similar experience as well. I was excited when I saw Irish 31 was coming to the Seminole city center as I have previously had such good experiences at the Hyde Park establishment. I am sorry to say This was not the case in Seminole. The only positive I can say was our server who really wanted us to enjoy our meal. After having to send my first drink back because it was awful it was replaced with a different mixed drink That was equally as bad. I ordered the whiskey chicken that tasted like processed chicken, my husbands burger was ordered as medium and was received as well done. My daughter ordered fried pickles and a burger and told us she threw the pickles out because they were terrible and the burger was burnt. If this restaurant doesn't get it together with their cooks and bartenders they will never be able to compete with the other restaurants that have opened in the center.
