We come here for Trivia Nation every Tuesday night. Katelyn is the best server here, and we always love the Whiskey Chicken.

Incredibly average. Everything about this place was mediocre. Absolutely nothing stood out. The bartender was friendly. And average. She did what average bartenders do, and she was friendly while she did it. A GREAT bartender will strike up a conversation with the guy sitting by himself at her bar. The manager stood off to the side of the bar almost the entire time. It felt kind of creepy since he was at the end near me. He didn't make rounds or check on his customers. Average. (I'm assuming he was the manager. He might have just been The Lurker.) I had fish and chips. The fish was average, exactly like Culver's fish. In other words, it was fast food good, but not sit down in a "nicer" restaurant good. The fries were the only side. They were average. Luckily, the "meal" only cost a little more than Culver's. (Does it count as a meal if it only has one side?) The atmosphere was average. Lots of TVs with lots of boring sports on. Can't hold the lack of good TV against them BUT, I can damn sure blame them for the "music". ........ Listen up pub and restaurant owners and managers! If it has a twang, screeching guitars, or "singers" using auto tune, it doesn't belong in an eatery. Sorry, but that's the way it is. And that's coming from a metal head who loves screeching guitars. Country, metal, hard rock, hip hop, rap, opera, anything with auto tune, are all the types of music that should never be played in a pub or restaurant. An Irish pub should play Celtic music, something like Karliene IMO. It's very good and it fits the concept of "Irish". Barring that, classic rock (which I mostly despise), smooth jazz, 50s and 60s Motown.......anything that's widely appreciated and not widely hated (like all the garbage that uses auto tune). They have to remember that the music is for their guests and not for their employees. If I go back, it'll be because it's only 1/2 mile from home. There is absolutely nothing about this place that makes me want to return. read more

Stopped in after girl's day shopping, for lunch. The place was pretty empty for a Saturday afternoon. But, maybe busier at night. It was bright, clean, and welcoming. Our waitress was friendly and made a few menu suggestions without being pushy. Food came quick, but waited for our drinks (not alcohol), which was strange. I had a very tasty Greek wrap, they came with homemade chips (get them!). The chips were seriously delish!! Someone at the table ordered a burger rare.... and it was rare! She said most places won't do rare, so she was happy all in all a pretty solid experience. But next time let's get some hustle behind the drink order, okay?? Lol read more

Really wanted to like this place.. Pretzel appetizers were really good and fresh, the cheese dip should have been included in the $10 price instead of an extra charge. Wanted to try the Boxty, potato dish which they offer 3 choices. Being vegetarian I chose the first option with horseradish and cheese. Our server, Monika returned to tell me they were all out of them and only had the loaded. Told her I am vegetarian and could not eat meat. I then ordered a black bean burger which was overpriced at $16, was charged extra for the black bean replacement even though the bacon was omitted. Hubby ordered the Shepherd's pie. And felt the portion size was small for the $16 charge. We overheard a customer nearby ask for something and was told they were all out. The customer said you were out of it 2 days ago also. We were there at 4:30p for an early dinner not the end of the evening. Really did want to like this place. Not sure if we will be back. read more

I'd leave a 0 if I could. I couldn't get a server to even acknowledge me. We waited at our table for 15 minutes before walking out. The manager was doing rounds talking to people about St Patrick's day, saw our table wasn't served, and just kept walking. This isn't the first time service has been terrible here. The food is mediocre at best. If you really want to try it, Uber eats it because you're not going to get acknowledged in the store. read more

Staff is nice and attentive. Peach margarita was absolutely amazing! Zucchini fries were a little mushy on the inside. So it was like breading then mush. Good flavor but weird texture. Salmon dinner with Brussel salad. Had good flavor. The Brussel salad was so salty I actually could not eat it. But the salmon was good. I will be trying other things on the menu or just come for drinks. Great seating and openness of the restaurant. read more

Food is good, but bathroom sinks are very unsteady and need extra support for the drunken Irish clientele.

We have been frequenting this establishment just about since they opened. Tonight the waitress on multiple occasions was condescending and sarcastic. We have used their point system here multiple times and the waitress said there were no points to be had. When we objected and and advise that we never had to search on a website as she was suggesting. She came back to the table and told my spouse she was being loud and voiceless over not having points. Irish 31 is a welcome addition to Seminole City Center. We've stopped by a few times and enjoyed every visit. Service can be a bit slow (it's seat yourself, and sometimes it takes a bit for a server to notice) but always friendly. They have a good variety of drinks, including whiskeys and beer. Craft cocktails initially weren't great, but quality has improved with time. Food is Irish/American bar food, and quite good; so far we've enjoyed chicken pot pie, fish and chips and bangers and mash. They also have lots of TVs and tend to have live music on the patio. If you're looking for dinner in the area, it's a solid choice. read more

Lots of tvs. Live music. Fun place. Some good drink specials. I ordered the sliders with mushroom and Swiss. Very small. Got the zucchini and squash on the side- good. My friend got the wings- the whiskey wings double cooked and the Parmesan garlic. Parmesan garlic was bland- would not get again. Steak fries are frozen- would not get again. Nice waitress. Monica was awesome !!! Had to package our leftovers in a plastic container. Food is average- they really need to up their game. This was our second time eating here and we were very disappointed. Our server was absolutely clueless about the menu, the food and even the tea they served. Last visit our service was slow, but we attributed it to the fact that it was a Friday night and we sat outside. Let's talk about the food, last visit the food was good enough to get us to come back. We ordered the Shepherds Pie Boxty last time. Our dinner guest is from Yorkshire and serves us her homemade Shepherds Pie as a treat. We were all impressed with our Boxty's on the first visit and I was looking forward for a repeat of the rich flavors. We ordered the Shepherds Pie Boxty and a Loaded Boxty. Somehow we received all 3 Boxty's on the menu, they all tasted like fried mash potatoes and the only way were able to identify the Shepherds Pie Boxty was by a single green pea located in the middle and a small bacon bit in the middle of the loaded Boxty. The real tip off was that each one was served with a different sauce. I'm truly disappointed because the only enjoyable thing I was served was the Guinness, which was perfect, by the way. read more

Beer is cold and good selection. Family style seating with bar stools, not a fan. A few traditional seats, but still open, neighbor style. I had the black and bleu burger, came on a ciabatta bun, which was a nice change from traditional bun and was good but the burger portion was smaller than expected for $13. My husband got fish and chips and he said he loved the fish, batter was on point, but wasnt a fan of the steak fries. Feels hand cut fries would have been better. They sent malt vinegar, who puts malt vinegar on steak fries? Weird. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Might come back if in the area but there are options that we might check out also. Waitress greeted us by saying how she had been working all day and she was tired (place opened at 11 am) appeared there were a number of staff available. I wish we had requested a different server. Wide selections with something for everyone. Steaks, seafood, pastas, chicken, full dinners, sandwiches, sides and desserts. Prices: $10-25 Food ordered and served: 2 orders of Shepard's Pie. No addition items were added, nor served (i.e.: rolls, butter, etc.) Served: Both Shepherds Pie's (standard plate) looked excellent. Unfortunately, the cubed carrots were very under-cooked and the peas were slightly under-cooked. The rest of the pie was quite good, but was on the some-what bland side. It lacked zest/spices. Unfortunately stopped by during a planned event happening right outside that Irish 31 did not anticipate. No host for seating. Waited 8 1/2 minutes at the host stand at the door while being passed by wait staff numerous times. After a self tour of the dining area, we found an open table and sat ourselves. After waiting some more, a waitress finally came up with silverware and menus took our drink orders and off we went...drinks, always refilled, took our food order, and served hot fresh dinners for both of us, quicker than anticipated given the crowd. Shepherds Pie was good, Fish and Chips... great concept on presentation, both were darker than normal, and greasier. Also had a burnt aftertaste, but cooked perfectly. This place was a disappointment. They did not have any of their signature dishes on a Friday evening. The wait staff was rude. The so called Manager on duty; well she was high on some sort of narcotics. I had to explain to her eight times why we were dissatisfied with the restaurant. I asked her for her business card to file a complaint with the Irish 31 owner(s). I waited ten (10) minutes, she never returned from the office. I believe she either passed out or got busy doing another line of cocaine; since she still had a white residue around her nostrils as she spoke to me. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. don't order more than 1 fountain soda (like diet coke) because they will charge you for EACH one you order. No free refills and that is just silly. Pass on the hummus wrap, it's sparse and no flavor, the fish and chips were just okay and if you want fries, it's an upcharge on certain dishes, which is fine, but give me more than 8 steak fries on the plate, make it worth the upcharge. We went this afternoon to the Oviedo location to give the place a try. We had read mixed reviews. I had recently joined the Irish 31 iSociety (rewards). We were greeted and sat down. Brittiney was our server. Our server was polite and friendly. We ordered two appetizers, a pub pretzel and a "Shepard's pie Boxty". We added along an alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage. The appetizers were hot and very tasty. We skipped the pretzel cheese as we felt a 1-oz portion for $1.50 was too high. Entrees were the Pie of the Shepard and the Irish 31 burger. Both entrees were hot and very delicious. Pie of the Shepard was lacking gravy and adding a 1oz gravy was $1.00. There was too much food to consume and we decided to take away the remainder to enjoy later. We asked for boxes and bags for the leftovers and a take way soft drink. I mentioned the "Society rewards program which also gave us $5 off. Server stated she could look up my acct# from the name on my CC. Brittiney took my CC to look up my account. While she was gone I received a text for an $80+ charge to my CC. She returned with (1) bag for 4 food boxes and an empty cup. I mentioned my CC charge and she appeared to be upset that I had to ask for a itemized receipt. We asked for another bag and mentioned the take away cup was empty. she returned with the itemized receipt and walked away. The $5 was not taken off. I was extremely upset my card was charged without my knowledge. We usually tip EXTREMELY well. But with the poor service/attitude, iIsigned my receipt and she received a 15% tip. Good location. Seminole needed another bar in the area. Clean and good atmosphere. Giving 3 star because service wasn't good. My friend and I were the only ones sitting at bar. Waited over 10 min before finally screaming to the other complete side of the bar at the 3 employees hanging around talking about their personal lives and not even caring about customers in restaurant if we could please get some help! The bartender kept complaining what a bad morning it was for and wasn't fun relaxing bar talk at all for us. Then she charged my card double what the bill was and promised wouldn't hit my card but of course it did. Then had to deal with checking my bank everyday for days to see if it ever cleared plus phone call back into bar about the bill. What a headache and not fun experience first visit here.. read more
