Very nice bar and dining area. The bartender was very friendly and proficient. The food menu had a wide variety to choose from, and it was reasonably priced. We already had lunch, but I've heard great reviews about the food. However, It was happy hour - a Miller Lite draft and two Alyssian Space Dusts were over $18. That's pricey.

This is the 2nd time our large party has eaten here while in vacation. We came here for our family Father's day dinner. We had a party of 14. When we arrived there was another large party and a few people at the bar...and only 1 bartender/server working. She apologized in advance and said ahe would do her best. We accepted and continued to look over the menu. We all ordered our drinks right away. Their soda fountain was out so no soda options were available. All those that ordered a draft beer or mixed drink enjoyed them. I ordered the bangers and mash, which were way better than expected. The sausage was perfect. You could tell the potatoes were real and made in house. There was a delicious gravy on the potatoes that was so good. My husband ordered the fish and chips and were a nice size and fried perfectly. I was able to try my sister's Sheppard's pie. And loved it as well. It did take a bit if time to get our food but it was expected before we ordered. I would recommend it to anyone in the Indian Shores area. I forgot to take pictures of the food sorry!

This place was a big disappointment! I read the reviews and was looking forward to a new place. My husband got the steak and cheese sandwich. It was basically beer cheese and bread. Where's the BEEF! Terrible really. I got the garlic parmesan wings. Absolutely no flavor. The blue cheese was warm and runny! Sorry have to say the absolute worst I think I've ever had. I have two stars because the music was GREAT! And service was good! Other than that no reason to come back. Sorry I'm giving this place a big thumbs down .

Picked up dinner to-go and it was great! The shepherd's pie was really good, the portion size was just right and the blend of beef, mashed potatoes, veggies, and cheese was perfect. The fish and chips reminded us of our past meals in the UK with nice flavor.

Fun time with John at Mickey Quinn's

I have no photos but it is decorated like a traditional Irish pub inside, with a vast mural around one wall, a big Guinness mirror behind the bar, and some green lighting and kegs and such on the walls. It's a very popular place, with all the Irish foods you'd expect, some Mon-Tue food specials, lots of big-screen tvs showing all kinds of sports, and live music on Saturdays. (Mar 2026) The servings are quite large. We had Finley's signature fish and chips, nicely cooked, very light and tender but not much flavor. A little seasoning in the beer batter would have helped. It was good, but not I-gotta-have-it spectacular. We tried the cutely-named "Pot of Gold" soup of the day (Mar 2026), which turned out to be cream of mushroom soup with a lot of cheddar cheese melted over the top. It tasted ok, but it was Too thick and rich for our "soup" expectations. Our guests loved their huge Italian-like subs with piping-hot crusty chewy onion rings . For some reason it came with horsey sauce which we loved with the rings! It's a cute, fun pub, and they serve cold beer and enormous servings of food. The food was ok, but it wasn't all that special. If we come back, it'll be for the sports tvs.

Service, ambiance, price: pretty good, fair…read more But, food in general? Hit or miss. If you're selective, then you might become even more selective after every visit. The menu continues to amaze me with the way food is prepared and served by people that are not familiar with the traditional way of cooking. If you're going to sell a "Hoosier Tenderloin," then why not make sure the kitchen staff understand what a "Hoosier Tenderloin" would look like? It is not supposed to fit the size of the bun. The tenderloin is supposed to be flattened out to about a quarter of an inch. What was served was instead an almost 3/4" patty of tenderloin meat. Way too thick. Come on. Let's get the talented team of cooks to become familiar of the right way on how food should be prepared as advertised. Other than this irritating issue, I will still return but any improvement will be appreciated as usual. But! As I said about service, it's pretty good. Our lady server was generous enough to discount the sandwich meal off of our meal bill. This was a sandwich my mother had. She is the pickiest eater I know. And I am in usual disagreement with her opinions about food and other things in general. But! This? This sandwich she was served was extremely disappointing. We were expecting a giant flat crispy delicious piece of crunchy meat three times the size of the bun. Like the time she had two visits before this last one. The visit before this one? Too greasy. A little flattened out, but not flatten out enough. Instead, it looked like a fast food chicken breast style tenderloin. *sigh* One of the many reasons of returning will be because the appetizers have always made me want more. Mozzarella sticks, onion rings, French fries, not a thing to complain about. But! Let's get the tenderloin problem straightened out. I mean, flattened out. There's always room for improvement.

But it wasn't until this last visit that we even realized this place existed - and we are SO glad we did! :) Tucked in the middle of a small and unassuming shopping center, the outside is very dark which definitely helps with the authentic Irish Pub feel. Once you open the door, it's smaller place, with around 10-15 small tables, a bar straight ahead, and a small area for local performers on the left up against the outside window (because of the dark ambiance, its hard to even tell the back is glass. The staff was helpful and attentive. We were going for a walk, but I wanted to see the menu, so I popped in to grab one with one of my daughters in the baby carrier. There were 2 performers and a few tables of people and everyone smiled and made comments about her, and I grabbed a menu and left. During the walk, I called to order our food, and the bartender on the phone was very helpful. He happily accommodated getting all of the sauces on the side and even offered some things to be separated that I didn't think about (since I mentioned we would be walking home with the food). When I went back to pick up the food, the place was far busier, almost every seat was taken, and I had switched out kids in the baby carrier. People were just as friendly even though it was noticeably crowded. It had only been 15 minutes, but the food was ready and packed - and boy was it GOOD!! We got the Irish Nachos and Pub Poutine so we could try a few Irish specialties that also had classic elements to them (shepherds pie and beer cheese). The Irish Nachos were absolutely incredible! It is house-made potato chips topped with shepherds pie and beer cheese. Some of the best food we've ever had in Siesta Key and by far the best shepherd's pie I've ever had - and I've been to Ireland. The Pub Poutine was also really tasty! It is house-made French fries topped with corned beef and beer cheese. Again, everything was fresh, made in-house, and a big hit with our whole family! I'm so glad we finally stumbled on this place and can't wait to come back again next year!
