The service and replacement warranty was excellent. Replaced my wife's eye glasses that day. The staff are rock stars in my eyes.

After waiting for a while, no big deal, in came the dr. He barely acknowledged my presence but when…read morehe did speak to me his tone was surly and he was very sarcastic. Finally after ignoring me for about ten-fifteen minutes he started to check my eyes. He suddenly got very angry and shouted at me that my bangs were in his way. He actually yelled at me which is a first for me from a man who calls himself a professional. I would not recommend that this company even walk my dog because if that's how he treats a first time patient then he doesn't deserve my time or my money!. I've never written a review in my life but people need to be warned about SIGNATURE EYE SPECIALIST.

Abhorrent customer service. Had to reschedule an appointment due to the fact the technician put…read moredrops in my eyes they were not supposed to. Fast forward to my next appointment I had a hard time getting off of work, I arrived 20 minutes early only to wait over 2 hours before walking out. Didn't even see the eye doctor. Reported this location to my main GP. If your doctor schedules you an ophthalmologist appointment here; ask to be moved elsewhere to another ophthalmologist. Unprofessional and completely disrespectful of everyone's time & health concerns. Reception didn't even apologize or care. Told me that the doctor stays 'an extra hour to two to see all the patients' as when I left 2.5 HOURS after my allotted appointment time, the waiting room was completely FULL.

I had lens replacement surgery to correct for distance that in my mind and according to a second opinion from an unbiased outside optometrist, was not as successful as should be expected. One eye is 100% near sighted, but the other eye is slightly far sighted. After 9 months, the surgeon was still evasive and did not agree with my concerns about the results and the Gimbel Operations Manager was rude and unresponsive to my emails.

They start off giving you a mild oral sedative that's supposed to calm any nerves. A nurse will come and get you, and take you to the surgery room. Introduction's are made, doctor and assistants. Then the procedure begins. The only discomfort I felt was the pressure on my eyeballs. They freeze your eyes, so you feel slight sensations from where the push around your eyes. The lasering only takes 1 min or so, and you smell what people have described as a burnt hair aroma. That's exactly what it smells like. More time is spent in preparation of the eyes then the surgery itself. Oh one more thing. They have a really comfy waiting area with recliners. They also let family members watch the procedure if you so desire. Still to early to say what the outcome will be. I just had the surgery yesterday. So far so good. Just a little blurry/ foggy from the post op eye drops.

They take you through various offices trying to upsell services for lenses, contacts, drops, eye pads, sterile wipes etc etc. We got to a point where it was uncomfortable to say no so, we ended up buying few items close to $150 not covered by any insurance plans. Dr. Khosla said, "receptionist will provide instructions on how to use the products". Receptionist said, "read the instructions on the product". Service is the last item on their list so please avoid this clinic if you can. They are there to sell not to serve. Yes, they will do your vision check and bill Alberta health even when you don't need or want one. We just had ours done a day before, so the doctor just took the prescription from our other doctor, ran the same number in 60 seconds and said yes, it is right. To top it all, they will only give you 10% discount on sales if you give then 5 star rating. This is blatant attempt to buy the ratings. This was the most dishonest eye specialist I visited in my years of experience. Stay away from them. There are far better and honest doctors who believe in serving the patients rather than treating them like potential buyers.

After several years me and my family have left Dr. Gordon from Mokala Medical. It got to the point…read morewhere enough was enough. She clearly does not like her job, nor truly care for her patients. I was made to feel, on several occasions, that I was wasting her time, that she was annoyed by what I felt were questions important to me and my health, and when I was rear ended in car accident the first question she asked was if there was a lawsuit or not and when I said there would be most likely, her demeanour went to one where shetreatedmelike I was scamming the system and she even said "why are you here, you are wasting taxpayers money", when I attended for a follow up appointment to confirm there had been no change in my injury after several months. The final straw was when I had my son and at his three month appointment she didn't show any meaningful care or attention towards him and instead of taking two seconds to check a hip click that was diagnosed at birth that we felt had gone away, she said "if it was diagnosed then you need to follow through with the ultrasound" as she walked out of the room instead of taking two seconds to confirm it had gone away and no ultrasound was needed. Our new doctor confirmed it did indeed go away and no ultrasound was needed. Dissapointing to say the least. Don't become a doctor if you don't truly care for and want to help people.
