Cost was $150 for adult eye exam Had both an infant and adult exam done. Dr. Craig was awesome with my daughter and tried to answer all the questions we had. If he didn't know the answers, he was happy to investigate and look things up. I was more than impressed with the friendliness received and felt very well respected and treated. Would certainly recommend, but check your health care coverage first to see if all expenses will be covered. read more

The staff here really caters to seniors and families with children. Which makes cents for them. If you are single white and female and do not wear glasses and just want to purchase Latisse buyer beware. The front staff have an insult ready for you as you make your purchase. Kind of like coming to someones house for dinner then shitting on their doorstep as you leave. According to the staff here you should be out banging or getting some plastic surgery done. I needed to get my 7 month old daughters eyes checked, I was able to get in on the same day we called. Dr Craig was awesome my daughter loved everything from the receptionists to her exams, not a single tear. He made the exam a fun little game for her and it all went smoothly. I visited the Glenmore Landing Vision Centre a couple of times. The first visit went very well. Nice staff, great optometrist! He was very thorough in helping solve my eye irritation problems. I had to return for a follow up visit a few weeks later. Unfortunately that didn't go as well. I had booked an 8am appointment to avoid having to miss work. The day before my appointment I received a message on my answering machine explaining that I had been bumped to 8:15am. Not a problem. I showed up early only to be greeted by an irritated receptionist. I politely explained that I was there for my 8:15 appointment. There was a long pause when she couldn't find me in the computer system. I went on to explain that it had been changed from the 8am appointment I had originally booked. She responded coldly with "Uh, yeah, actually your appointment is for 9:15!" I told her that unfortunately that wouldn't work with my schedule and that the purpose of my original 8am appointment was to avoid missing work. She was visibly annoyed, raised her voice and told me that was fine and that they would accommodate me and I should sit down. I don't enjoy being scolded, let alone for something that is not my fault. It's unfortunate...but I am less likely to return to the Glenmore Landing Vision Center due to this staff member's behaviour. read more

I've been getting my glasses at GLVC for about 5 years. I'm a diabetic so vision care is extremely important to me. Dr. Craig did my last eye exam, and he was thorough and knowledgeable about the complications related to diabetes. He was also helpful in making recommendations regarding my eye care (glaucoma). I have always dealt with Pam when I needed new frames or lens. She is friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. She is also extremely thorough, and always takes the time to explain the pros and cons of various lens options, fames, coatings etc. Good glasses are not cheap, but I always feel that I'm getting good value for the money. Great optometrists. Very thorough and aren't afraid to work with you repeatedly to help solve any eye issues (i.e., dry eyes). Brittney, who fits contacts, is fabulous; she works really hard to make sure you get the best fitting contacts, even if it means trying out over six different types! There are always lots of front desk staff but they are more preoccupied with other tasks (and talking) so I've never been helped picking out glasses even though I've purchased on three separate occasions. This location also usually offers groupons to save $200. Great deal as the frames and lenses are a bit more expensive than most other places - but they are good quality. read more

Went in to purchase 2 pairs of glasses, was only greeted with a nasty look by one of the three girls sitting at the front desk when we arrived. Proceeded to ask a few questions because I'm not 100% with shopping for vision care but only received short unhelpful answers. After about 15 minutes of crappy service we left and went somewhere else, ended up getting the two pairs at the new place for the price of one at glenmore. Huge selection of Chanel, Prada and other brands of eyewear. I came here specifically for Chanel but walked out with Prada. LOL!! They help when you need it. I visited Glenmore Landing Vision Centre first one year ago and had a great experience. Great and thorough optometrist, fantastic staff who was very helpful in helping me find the right frames and lenses. Unfortunately my second visit was a very different experience. Again, the optometrist was very friendly and thorough. But boy, the staff person at the front was anything but friendly. She definitely needs an attitude adjustment. She would not answer my questions, became very condescending when I questioned the price of the new lenses. "Well, I can give you the price of the bottom of the totem pole line" was her nasty response. I decided not to purchase new lenses and asked whether she could please adjust my existing glasses as they felt a bit loose. I was not offered a seat and truly felt that I was no longer welcome there. I don't think I will return. There are enough businesses that have staff who are customer focused, friendly and helpful. We loved the optometrist he was very helpful and made good conversation. He made me feel like a valued costumer and he was off the charts. The staff however were not attentive and as we walked in we weren't even greeted. The younger ladies at the front were kind and very helpful and greeted us as we came in but when it was just the two older ladies it seemed like they didn't want our business and they were unwilling to help or did so begrudgingly. I would go again because we like the optometrist and the kinder ladies at the front but the rude elderly ladies at the front were a HUGE deterrent. read more

Recently, during our last visit the staff were extremely busy... however, they never skipped a beat in taking care of our needs. My wife and I have been with Glenmore Landing Vision Center for over 8 years and have never had a reason to go anywhere else. Their team are consistent, knowledgeable and provide great service. I recently had Dr. Rhemtulla and as like Dr. Neilson makes you very comfortable and shares his knowledge. During my recent visit I met some new staff and their staff culture is so supportive that they just don't skip a beat. Went here to purchase glasses for my VERY picky pre-teen daughter. She must have tried on 30+ pairs. The optician was very patient, looking up additional colour choices in the computer for us. I had a daily deal coupon to use which was honored no problem. The prices are a bit high, and the selection of frames for 12 year olds is limited to a small number of name brands. We ended up with an adult frame that fit her well but wasn't the brand we hoped for. The service was great though! read more

This spot has it all! A fantastic selection of frames, great doctors and assistance to understand it all. If you have vision problems there is help here. The staff are trained in teasting and proactive solutions for eyewear for all needs. There is a selection of glasses for kids right through to those of us with advanced age and eye problems that require special lens or consultations about what the next steps wil be.
