I am so happy with my new glasses from Lens Save--not only can I finally see my workstation clearly, but the lens quality is superb, the frames are comfortable to wear, and I finally have confidence that they won't snap like the ones from the competitor. I originally bought glasses from a local competitor, and the frames kept snapping--five pairs in total, most within days. They even let me switch to different frames at no cost, but those snapped the next day as well. The lenses also weren't built correctly for my Rx, and I kept thinking the issue was me. The staff there were kind, but after so many failed attempts, I had to walk away. A second opinion confirmed that the lenses were poorly shaped, causing stress fractures in every frame. I went to Lens Save Express, where I've shopped in the past, and shared my experience. I bought an Armani frame for the lenses, but it snapped the next day too. Instead of brushing it off, they investigated thoroughly. Their lens specialist confirmed the lenses were the real problem and offered to replace them for free. The new glasses--progressive lenses with beautiful frames--fit perfectly, feel great to wear, and have held up without any issues. I am so grateful that I called Lens Save Express Optical. After a recent move from Canmore to Calgary, I noticed the signage and the reviews were awesome so I booked an appointment. The experience was exceptional. The office was very well kept and the assistants were smiling and acknowledged me entering the business. The exam was very professional and thorough . Best optical place in Calgary! They offer amazing prices on designer glasses, about half of what other shops sell for. Paid $400 for my glasses (cool designer frame, lightweight lens for high astigmatism, coating, transition lenses). All most expensive options I wanted for real cheap. All other stores quoted me $800+ for same. Doctor in other Bridlewood clinic didn't even measure eye distance for me in prescription because I didn't want to pay ridiculous price for their glasses. Doctor at this place not only measured it for me, he also added this information to my prescription, so I could order glasses elsewhere (online for example). He also explained me in details what numbers mean, what a wonderful people work there! I think local prescription glasses stores afraid to give away full information to clients, as we can go online then and order glasses at fraction of the cost they charge. These folks don't afraid as prices they offer are quite reasonable along we exceptional service. I'm already signing up all family members for next eye exam and will stick to this place myself for sure. So happy I found you folks. All the best and wish you success and growth. Giving a 2 start because the optometrist that I saw was great. Despite running a few min behind. And the selection of lens is great. But my experience to try to purchase glasses from this location was terrible! Prior to purchasing a Groupon I called the location to see if with using the groupon I would be able to purchase a pair of frames with single vision lenses for under $250 and I was told yes just depending on how much the frame was. For the lenses alone they start at $199 and that includes the 40% discount on lens with the Groupon. Plus they insist that you purchase the anti reflective coatings for an other $99. I told them if I didn't want the coating can I just get the lenses and frames and the sales lady said I had talk to her manager to explain the importance of the coatings. I understand what the coatings do but why do they insist I pay an other $99 when I'm already paying $200 for the lenses! (FYI Costco lenses start at $100 and Costco frames are less expensive as well). So for one pair they wanted to charge me over $300 for a inexpensive frame, and single vision lenses with a Groupon I paid for! Save your money and go to Costco! I got a pair of glasses with the coatings for just over $200. And a second pair for just over $150 read more

Amazing experience at Lens Save Optical!! My girlfriend and I saw them on groupon and decided to give it a shot. All I can say is WOW! Got 3 pairs of designer glasses for super cheap, which is nothing I'd compare their practice to be! I've been to a few places in Calgary and the test alone took 45 minutes. 15 minutes here tops with their top of the line equipment! Dr. Kirk was a pleasure to deal with, as was the receptionist and his son who both helped us pick out glasses! Here's the kicker, we put our order in on a Thursday and got all three pairs including prescription Ray Bans on Wednesday the following week; only 6 days!!! Great people who own this place. They are friendly, caring and very helpful . They don't make you feel Insignificant or push sales down your throat (unlike other big named company's). I'm really struggling to figure out why the reviews of this place are so good... I went in on a Groupon, received great service at the appt, however its been a month and I still haven't seen my glasses that they said would take a week. Prices were exactly THE SAME as anywhere else (minus the groupon, if it weren't for that, then it wouldn't have been worth the while). Every time I call they apologize and say they will follow up for me on the glasses and call me daily if they need to, however, I have yet to receive a call from them ever. I'm so pissed off with this... even if these frames were coming from Japan they shouldn't take a month??????? I don't even know what to do, as when I call I get the same bs apology and story of how "it must be the lab"..... I will (hopefully) get my glasses and NEVER RETURN EVER! And I will let anyone know how "fake" the service is when you walk in the door. They are nice, but they can't provide what they say they will....... read more

My experience here was horrible. I was told it would take 10 business days for my new glasses to come in. At the same time I would get trial contacts. The glasses came in but the contacts never did. THEN I got the glasses, wore them for not even 12 hours and they had broken. I was told it was a stress fracture on the glasses. I have been wearing glasses since I was 5 and never had this happen. I went back in, told them I'm not going to go with the same frame as I don't trust them. Picked a new frame, then got accused I broke the glasses on purpose. Was told the new glasses would be in within 4 days as they were rushing them. I still haven't heard from them about my glasses.. to get any answers I have to call them, they don't call me. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Steer clear of this place! read more

I went in here to fix a pair of glasses that a friend had stepped on, the optometrist fixed them right away for me, made sure they fit me properly and didn't charge me anything for the repair! Great customer service and I would definitely go back! read more
