I am not sure whether she deliberately…read moregave false prescriptions or she is just not competent in the optometrical expertise, her prescriptions for both eye glasses and contact lenses are far off from the correct prescriptions, and she recommended a contact lens brand that is known for causing patients dry eyes, proscribed me with incompatible eye base curves, and wrong codes and power ratings for both of my eyes. I ended up to pay out of pocket for additional eye exams to get the correct prescriptions at another clinic.

My family members are frequent glasses wearers, so I have been visiting optometrists regularly for almost 30 years, and Dr Ross is by far the most courteous, understanding, and knowledgeable one I have come across. I like to support small businesses, so I went to Sphere. I took in my frames and my prescription,…read moreand in about 6 days the glasses were ready. I have a complicated prescription and it was done incorrectly. At Spheres direction, I took the glasses to my optometrist and had them checked. My optometrist wrote a note to Sphere, outlining what was wrong with preparation of the lenses. Another week, and I got them back with the correct lenses. Because Essilor had a 1/2 price sale, I took my other frames that I was having made into prescription glasses in to Sphere. I asked for 3 day service, was told that was impossible and received a call about a week later that my sunglasses were ready. I went in and found out that my order wasn't for my glasses. They screwed up and my frames were somewhere at the lab. Worse still, my order hadn't even been started yet. Another week and a half passed to get my prescription sunglasses. To top this off, Sphere didn't even offer me a discount after all this. I would recommend you go to another company. This one doesn't seem to care about their customers at all, only the $$$. Next time, I'll buy my lenses from a chain that's always done them right.

He kept selling me expensive drops from his shop visit and told me it wasn't improving, to make another appointment in two weeks. His arrogant attitude was way over the top. Eventually I stop the sessions and booked with another optometrist who informed that all I needed to do was solve my issue was use warm water compress on my eyes a couple of times a day. After only a few months my condition had returned to normal. I purchased at least one pair of new glasses from this place but there seemed to be a continual intimidation tactic to buy more. They carry affordable options, like Vogue, and designer frames, like D&G. Their selection wasn't too impressive, they had mostly black and brown frames. They charge $80 for an eye exam. Lenses start around $95 and up. I would return to Pearle Vision for cheap options when it comes to eye wear. The service was friendly. It wouldn't be my first recommendation though.
