My dad brought his phone here to have the back glass repaired after it cracked. The repair was done, but the very next day he noticed a new crack at the bottom of the phone that wasn't there before--likely from a poor installation. We immediately contacted the employee who did the repair, and he acknowledged the issue and said he would take care of it. However, when we returned to the shop, he suddenly changed his tone and said he would need to charge additional money to fix what appeared to be damage caused during the original repair. When I asked for a business card, he became rude and refused to give me one. I saw business cards on the counter and reached toward them, at which point he threatened to call the police and physically grabbed the stack of cards away. The interaction became uncomfortable and unprofessional, so we decided to leave rather than escalate the situation. In the end, my dad was out $160 with a damaged phone and no resolution. I went yesterday for a screen replacement for my IPhone 17 pro max. He did a great job and was helpful. I only had to wait about 30 minutes.

I paid $75 for repairing a iPhone 6's swollen battery. The different repair place upstairs said they could do it for just $50. When I confronted the guy, he just said "different companies have different prices, mine is higher because I do better repairs." I'm pretty sure he used a cheap battery for the replacement. Overall wouldn't recommend this, just go to the repair station upstairs. read more

If this review saves even one person from getting ripped off, it's worth it. IRepair expert's shady business practices are a major red flag. Prices are not posted anywhere, and they pressure you with bizarre sales tactics and on-the-spot haggling. They push more expensive screens, claiming they're "OEM." They are not. Worst of all, they will refuse to return your iPhone unless you sign a release form you were never told about upfront. You are literally forced to sign before getting your own property back. I wish I would have taken video of this. I paid for the more expensive screen replacement for my iPhone, which was glitchy from the day they put it on. After just 9 days, it completely blacked out and never turned back on. Biggest warning incase you are unfortunate enough to use them for a repair. Do not sign anything. You won't be able to dispute the charges later, as they'll use that release form against you, even though you were never informed about it beforehand. These scammers should not be in business. If you've had a similar experience, leave a review and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Stay far away. Very unprofessional, took a phone about two weeks ago. He told us if he couldn't fix it we didn't have to pay, when we came back to pick up the phone he didn't mention anything. The phone still didn't work, he wanted to charge us $200 to fix the phone. We said no thank you, we waited another hour for him to put it together. The phone wasn't even put together all the way, as I couldn't even push the power button. He was upset and said this phone took him all day. We looked elsewhere to find out parts were missing. He was upset when I asked him about the phone, he said I was accusing him of stealing. I wanted to know about the steps he did to look at the phone not accusing him Of anything at all. I came in to get my granddaughters iPad charging port replaced as it was very lose and no longer charging. After a few hours I was told it was ready, my mistake I never checked it before paying and leaving the area but once in the car my teenage granddaughters proceeded to charge it and it was exactly as I brought it in, it would not hold a charger. I couldn't turn around as I had to be at work but did immediately call only to find out they haven't changed the number in three years. Came here a few months ago and a seemingly nice 20 something Indian lady sold me a plastic screen protector for 23 something, mind you I felt sorry for her, because people just walk by and never by anything. When I came to pick up my phone 2 hours later, the worker raised the price to $250 (I confirmed that there were no additional services performed). This place is really over priced. Charged me $120 for a new screen. After he fixed my screen my phone started to glitch due to the poor quality screen. I wouldn't recommend going here. I had to pay another $100 to replace the screen they replaced. The screen they replaced made the phone really dark and gloomy. ***DON'T GO HERE*** I would recommend someone take their business elsewhere. The older gentleman that works there is racist and had the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We were getting pics taken with Santa Claus and this booth is right next to it. My daughter cracked the screen on our iPad so my boyfriend walked over and gave them the iPad. We came to pick up the iPad and he tried to sell us an over priced case and screen protector. When I told him we were not interested because Amazon had the same one for half the price he became a little hostile. I was not aware if my boyfriend had paid or not so I asked him if we still needed to pay and his exact words were, "You are good" and I thought that was odd and asked him a second time if we needed to pay and he replied, "You are good". I said ok and started walking away and while walking he walked over to us and started yelling saying we didn't pay. I asked him why he said we were good and he said "Yay you're good to pay." I assumed it was a language barrier thing so I walked back over with him with my children in tow and he starts yelling that "You people are always trying to steal". Mind you I asked him twice about paying and didn't grab the iPad and run we were walking with two kids in two as well as all the bags from this we had already bought. My boyfriend then asked him to bring his tone down especially because we were there with kids and no-one was trying to steal from him and refused and continued to cause a scene. I wish I would of read the reviews before I went here. I just got ripped off big time!! The make it clear, it's the cell phone counter repair/case place in the middle of the LOWER level at brea mall. I bought a case, $30, seemed reasonable. Then he talked me into a cover for my phone camera lens. I didn't ask the price as I assumed it would be well under the $30 phone case since it's a fraction of the size, small piece of plastic. After he installed and charged me, it was about $35. He told me there was a life time warranty but failed to tell me that was an extra $8. Fine.... My fault for not getting pricing up front. THEN I went to the upstairs phone guy and asked how much he charges for the same thing.....$15!!!!!!! Plus the guy upstairs told me there was an air bubble in what the other guy just installed. I went back down, expressed by major disappointment.... He said it's not returnable I told him to fix the air bubble and he replaced it with a different cover. Which I don't understand why he would give me a different cover unless he know the first one was sh$t quality. The all happened within a 10-15 minute period.
