Brought my mom's iPhone 15 to replace the glass here. They had 3 options: a cheap glass, an…read moreoriginal Apple glass that was like $300 and a glass similar to the Apple one that was $180. I asked the guy if there was any difference between the Apple one and the one that costs $180 and he assured me they were the same. I decided to get the $180 and they fixed it in 15 minutes. As soon as they fixed it I noticed that the phone was very dim even at the maximum brightness. The guy said that was usual. I was mad at this point but it was too late since he already replaced the glass. I would have spent the $300 if I had known that, but that's what I get for trusting iProdigy. Then a few days later, I noticed a bright white light leaking from the top of the phone. A month later, the glass totally broke (even with a screen protector). He immediately was able to give me a quote for someone that has the part and would be able to fix it, but after taking to Jack, we concluded that the phone wasn't worth fixing. I really appreciate the honesty that Jack provided. Since he had already claimed my Groupon, he said he will make sure I get a refund, and I did. He runs a very honest and friendly business. The shop owner told me that he wanted to try charging it for an hour before doing anything unnecessary to my iPad; such as opening it apart. I later received a phone call that my iPad was just fine, it was just an issue with the charger. I was not charged for the diagnostics but I decided to buy the charger and an iPad cover from him, just because he was so kind and honest with me. We need more repair shops like this. Unfortunately most places will just fix things that don't need repair and charge you for it.
