You can't take your leftovers home.

We ate here three times during our stay in Eastwood. It was only busy on one visit. We had to wait outside on these tiny chairs. The person asked us to have our order ready before we got seated to expedite the line. Kinda strange. By the time we left after 9pm, lots of seating were available. Overall, the different kinds of ramen were all very good. Service was efficient and friendly.

Came in here looking for authentic ramen and it was well worth the wait! My husband and I really wanted to know what the ramen was like in the Philippines so we came here to see if it can live up to our expectations. We came from the states where ramen is either a hit or miss. Sometimes people claim they can provide us with authentic ramen but end up being disappointed because the broth was not good. This place had one of the best broths I've ever tasted in my life! The noodles tasted very fresh as well which makes me wonder if they make their own noodles. The staff were very attentive to all of our needs and questions which helped our high quality first time experience. Everyone greets you when you first come in which kind of puts you in a good mood. The food always came out hot and fresh and fast! Although it was kind of weird that each of our bowls came out at different times, but I'm guessing they did this so each one of us can have it right as soon as it was hot and ready. This place has very delicious flavors of broths depending on which ramen you get and we were very happy customers when we finished. Definitely recommend anyone to come here if they want authentic ramen!

My 2 year old liked their noodles. They brought a small kiddie bowl for her so we could share. Pork buns are a must order

A chain from Japan that doesn't disappoint. There would sometimes be a small line at this Eastwood location at peak times, but the wait doesn't last long since the turn over of tables is pretty fair. Atmosphere is modern & clean. This particular branch has a lot more families with kids dining there, so my then restless 2 year old and me (and our "yaya"/maid) were immediately comfortable. My toddler loved the noodles and they even have kids bowls brought out if you want to share with your child. Prices around P400 (more closer to P500) price point, with lots of ways to bring the price up with small additions you want to add to your ramen bowl. Must not miss: Pork buns!!!! Tip: Font hesitate to ask your server for suggestions to customize your ramen to your liking. Would I come back? I would, but for ramen specifically, I have eaten several that is comparable or better, with tastier meat (hence the one star deduction) But don't miss eating here for sure, it's worth trying out! Ippudo surely wins over the others for their delicious and creative side dishes and a consistent solid ramen bowl.

My dad has loves soup and has recently discovered ramen. While driving around, I noticed Ippudo Ramen, and mentioned that it is an extremely popular ramen restaurant in NYC that many people wait in line for. Surprisingly, we ended up here for dinner, despite my dad's complaints of the extremely hot weather. Naturally, we ordered ramen. I got the Akamaru Special, along with some karaage. It was basically the same bowl of ramen I would've gotten at the NYC location, so it was solid and delicious. The price is also the same as NYC's location, which is why I'm not surprised that the restaurant was pretty empty.

Mentally bookmarked it and came back another day during off hours (3 pm) - the waiting benches outside were empty. The decor inside is impressive - a huge display of ramen spoons crown the central open kitchen where Chashu is being grilled and bowls of soup noodles are assembled. The order is taken at the register at the front before you are seated. Once seated at the bar, a chef and waiter on either side of the bar are there to help you out. I ordered a delicious Tsukemen, whose broth options were different had I ordered a regular bowl of soup ramen. The tsukemen broths appear to be more seafood forward and worth coming back to try them all. I do recommend getting extra chashu no matter what your order is. For just 315 PHP you get 3 extra pieces of smoky goodness, an outstanding piece of meat that I've never seen at any other ramen joint. Definitely a must-come-back to on my next Manila visit

The location in BGC was quite large with the bar like seating winding all around the kitchen area. Hundreds of soup spoons hung above. Ordering process was the same with the menu posted at the front. Three types of ramen (regular, dipping and soupless) plus side dishes like gyoza and extra char siu. Service was fast at the front and kitchen staff regularly shouted greetings in Japanese when getting seated. Food took a little long to be served as I watched one guy prepping, making the ramen and char siu. Seemed like they were a little understaffed that day. I had ordered my favorite tan tan men with a side of char siu. The broth was creamy and mildly spicy. Ramen was thick and chewy. Char siu was thick, juicy and added more flavors to my tan tan men. Their char siu was quite a generous serving of pork for the price. Beats many other ramen places. Gyozas here were also good. Crisp on the outside and good amount of filling inside. They offered two sizes, 3 or 5 pieces. Besides the slow service this chain still remains my favorite here in Philippines.

I had the spicy seafood, my daughter had the no spice seafood, and my sister had the Miso. We also shared the gyoza. Everything was so delicious and flavorful. By far, I really liked this place. My personal ramen picks are gomoku (vegetable + seafood) and miso ramen. Dining experience is direct to the point and not fancy, which is something that I like very much. The parking space is limited, so it's best to arrive at their opening times (11AM for lunch or 5PM for dinner). Commuting may not be as convenient, but there are several tricycles and jeeps that pass through Sumulong Highway. Staff service is also awesome - authentic Japanese style. Pay on the counter before leaving and DON'T GIVE TIPS! Even the guard that helped me back up the car did not accept my tip. Instead he said thank you and bowed to me like what the Japanese usually do huhuhu amazing! Highly recommend to try out if you're in the area. I will definitely come back for another bowl of ramen! :3

This is because I had such a terrible experience in their SM Aura branch. The noodles were badly cooked and the black garlic soup was too overwhelming and confusing. I also had a terrible experience in their ATC branch. That green soup ramen was not something I would like to experience again. It must be noted that both stores don't have good dining areas. But now, I fell in love with this place just after one bowl. People, you should try their Aburi Chashu ramen. It's their tonkotsu broth soup paired with roasted chashu. It's not just sliced pork that is dumped into your bowl. They roast the chashu which gives it better flavor and texture. For me, this made all the difference. I am now a fan. I loved it. The service was also excellent. The staff was so fast that I was in and out of that place in 20 minutes. Sometimes I have to admit that I am too loyal to Yushoken. But now, Ikkoryu is in a good position to have a bigger share of my ramen expenses.

I'm saying that most of the restaurants nowadays would always give you the you-get-what-you-pay-for kind of quality or worse, they put up a high mark off price on the food or services they provide. I was kinda surprised when I looked at the menu of Ramen Cool because they charge waaaaaay cheaper than your regular ramen joints in the Philippines. Not only that, I'm surprised that the quality of ramen they provide is in line with the big Japanese chains that proliferate around the metro. Apart from their pork ramen, I also fell in love with Ramen Cool's matcha drink. When I got there, I only spent around less than 300 and with other Japanese restos, that's already a great deal. Situated at the corner of East and West Capitol Drive, it is conveniently in the middle of the bustling food neighborhood that is Kapitolyo. My perfect start to cooling-off would be with their seared tuna salad - a colorful bowl of vegetables and greens, with thick slices of seared sesame and chili powder-coated tuna. Then I follow it with a bowl of their hiyashichuka - a cold, refreshing bowl of ramen served with slices of tamago, kani and cucumber. Best to push all of that down with either cold Japanese green tea or a tall glass of their Milo dinosaur. On days when I want a light snack, I head over to Ramen Cool and have their gyoza. Given the serving sizes, the good taste, and the restaurant's nice ambience and modern, funky interiors, it's always money well spent.
