My home warranty company sent them to inspect my water softener (which I paid extra for coverage) and several angle stops. **Open Admission of Fraud:** When I first spoke to Renee, she openly admitted that the warranty company had instructed iPlumb to "find a way to deny coverage," despite my items being fully covered under my plan. She flat-out stated they wouldn't even attempt to inspect or get anything covered, and instead tried to steer me toward an outrageously high out-of-pocket quote from another person at the company. **Hostile and Abusive Behavior:** When I called back to discuss this, Renee's behavior was predatory. Stop. Turn. and Run... Or you are in for a nightmare service experience! This company was sent out on behalf of Home warranty today 9/9/2026. I let him know the water softener was leaking at top base and flush port, and was in bypass because it will make a big mess if turned on...The guy still opened up and turned the water on while on the Phone "the whole time" and then walked away on the phone and continued to talk with his boss while my water softener was flooding the area it sits in. I quickly turned water off. he went back to his Van and yes continued to talk on the phone...while I was dealing with flood....mind you before he even looked at the water softener he was trying to sell me a new water softener stating the warranty does not cover it...but dumb dumb was sent out on behalf of the warranty company... and he had not even seen or looked at the issue at that point. The guy showed up with his pants hanging down past his rear end sagging where everyone can see his underwear with tight jeans on and completely unprofessional... Terrible service and recommend asking for a different company if your home warrenty recommends them as they are not thorough. We had someone come out from our home warranty and say that we had an RO leak but didn't even inspect the areas after the RO water was turned off. We had two leaks in the same areas and the guy wasn't even thorough enough to inspect it and verify that so we had to hire another service as soon as we turned our water back on. He just said call your RO company to fix so outside of turning our water off he really didn't do anything to help us. I called to explain and the team was rude and cut me off as I was explaining the issue so terrible customer service too. I have requested my warranty company to not use this company I don't want them back. I had them come out to my rental to inspect the water heater, because my management company had a licensed plumber inspect, and drain the water heater. He found corrosion on an 13 year heater and recommended replacement. I plumb said there's nothing wrong with my water heater it's cosmetic. Since when is corrosion cosmetic, it leads to leakage. Edgar from IPlumb was very kind when he originally came over to replace our hot water heater. As I didn't know the way these techs were supposed to do their job, when he told me he has to have me rate him a 5 star rating before he left, I was happy to oblige. After he left, my husband came home. When he looked at the work Edgar did, he noticed that the pan for the water heater was the wrong size and purposefully warped to fit the hot water heater, the drywall behind the water heater was busted, and there were scratches on a mustang and a porche that we have in the garage. On top of that, my husband watched the ring camera and noticed that instead of using a hydrolic dolly, that the company said he was supposed to use, he didn't. Instead, he rolled the old water heater down the driveway and rolled the new water heater up the driveway into the garage (which I'm assuming the scratches on the cars came from that). Keep in mind, there was plenty of room between the two cars in the garage (it's a 3 car garage). He also left the top to the water shut in our yard wide open. Edgar came back today to speak with my husband and to fix the pan under the water heater. Again, he was very nice and seemed professional. He was able to replace the pan with the wrong size again (too small, doesn't allow for any drain off) but we decided we don't want to have him back again, and we will just deal with it. My husband stated that the drywall was damaged due to the weight of the water heater (which Edgar told him). We decided not to bring up the cars at all because there is no video proof. Moving forward, if we have issues with anything plumbing related, we will go ahead and use a different company. It doesn't matter how kind someone seems to be. Make sure to do your research, and if everything checks out, make sure to check up on the actual work done before they leave. Don't feel pressured on giving a 5 star rating just because they say you have to. read more

iPlumb is used by home warranty companies in the area when their client is having unknown source water leakage and if there is visible water damage upon arrival, whether or not they can repair the cause of the leakage, they will offer to call Enviro Clean Abatement to come out to assess the damage, and once that happens the property owner is pressured into immediate remediation, with the promise that Enviro Clean will help file an insurance claim, causing the owner to move forward with them immediately rather than being advised to check with their insurance company first. iPlumb should not be making a recommendation of any other company, and especially when they are called out by a Home Warranty company. The owner naturally thinks that the referral is part of the home warranty company authorized steps. I had a leak in my ceiling and called my warranty co AHS and they sent IPLUMB LLC AZ out to check on the leak. IPLUMB sent out the company Enviro Clean to cut a hole in the ceiling to find the leak. IPLUMB sent this company out, I did not request Enviro Clean to come out and do this work or any work in my home. I received an invoice from Enviro Clean for $600 for cutting a 5 by 2 hole in my ceiling (that I now have to pay for it to be repaired also). IPLUMB would not have been able to locate the leak without cutting the hole in the ceiling, and why it is not covered by my warranty co is beyond me. I have called AHS and they tell me that I need to have IPLUMB or Enviro Clean call them, but IPLUMB says that they do not cover dry wall and enviro clean says that I signed a contract stating that I would pay for the drywall renovation. I signed the contract thinking that American Home shield would be covering the repair since it was their contractors that they sent out. So that is quite the scam they have going on, along with lack of communication and transparency they have regarding their work and contracts to scam people out of money. I would beware of all three of these company's doing any work in the future as my unfavorable review is not the only one posted. The contractor sent out by Enviro Clean also told me that they could repair the dry wall hole, but people usually have a separate contractor come out and do the repair work because Enviro Clean bids them high to make the work profitable. Great thing to tell a customer first of all but second really! From what I am getting from Environ Clean all their work is out of pocket for the customer as they tell me that water damage is not covered by home warranty companies. UPDATE American Home Shield has informed me that IPLUMB LLC AZ or Enviro Clean never called my warranty company to get authorization to do this work and that is why the $600 hole in my ceiling is not being covered and I owe out of pocket. Enviro Clean did not have a problem taking my $600 with no concerns for the company's dishonest practices, not even an apology for not contacting or letting me know that they would not be contacting my warranty company. Shame on IPLUMB LLC AZ for sending out a company to do work in my home without authorization from my warranty co considering my warranty company sent them out. ***SCAM ALERT *** AHS sent our Sebastian to fix 2 leaks. #1 Bathroom Master He said it was in the wall and I needed to contact his Restoration guy to get access. His restoration guy came out and . He used a moisture meter app on his phone. He said the leak was from the pipe in the bathroom, and was in the wall at the door, but it would be $4k to open it. I said hold on literally took the hammer and hit the wall and exposed the pipes in 30 seconds. Looked him dead in the eye and said did you not see the 20 x 9 trailer in the driveway that said contractor? Turns out the leak was from the faucet. I plumb guy didn't care to fix it he just wanted the restoration guy to get the job. I would bet they are ion cahoots. Leak #2 heard something coming from the kitchen wall. Couldn't find any moisture. Sebastian told us it was a slab leak and we need restoration work and his guy can expose it bla bla bla. My guy came over the hose bib on the other side of the wall outside was not shutting all the way. Multiple Service fees for some guy to not fix what was fixable. Only to come and tell me we have to go through a restoration company first.
